App Pintar Peribahasa ini dihasilkan oleh Pusat Bahasa Melayu Singapura (MLCS). App ini dibina bagi menggalakkan pembelajaran peribahasa dalam kalangan murid sekolah rendah dengan menuil teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Diharapkan, pembelajaran peribahasa bagi peringkat sekolah rendah menjadi lebih seronok dan relevan dengan keperluan pembelajaran murid masa kini.
MLCS ialah pusat latihan bagi guru-guru bahasa Melayu di Singapura. MLCS menawarkan pelbagai kursus dalam perkhidmatan termasuklah kursus mengenai pengetahuan kandungan kurikulum, pedagogi, penilaian dan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi bagi membangun profesionalisme guru dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa Melayu di Singapura. Selain itu, MLCS juga membina bahan-bahan pengajaran yang dapat menyokong keberkesanan pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa Melayu di bilik darjah. MLCS turut menjalankan kajian di bilik darjah. Smart App proverb is produced by Malay Language Centre of Singapore (MLCS). This app is built to encourage learning proverbs in primary schools to leverage information and communications technology. Hopefully, learning proverbs for primary schools to be more fun and relevant to the learning needs of today's students.

MLCS offers a range of courses and services including courses on curriculum content knowledge, pedagogy, assessment and communication technology and information for teachers' professional development in the teaching and learning of Malay language in Singapore. Moreover, MLCS also build instructional materials to support learning and teaching of the Malay language in the classroom. MLCS conducted research in the classroom.
