Nice setup. Like it very much.Bad behavior of opponents should be visible. Many players just quit, when they get into disadvantage position. That's minimizing the fun factor. The countdown of the last 10 second should be introduced by a small sound.

I had to rate this game at a low level. Rolls of the dice should be random and they're Cleary not just based on the difficult level. The probability of the computer getting exactly the numbers that it does at critical moments is statistically improbable.

Computer has unrealistic abilities to defy common statistics. It can role exactly what it needs when needed on a 75% or greater occurrence no matter what setting of difficulty.

Computer get 10x the double and exact dice roles it's needs every time white you get stranded out there. I didn't believe it when I read the reviews. They were true, I have played for many a nights now and have seen it.

Computer matches are rigged to win. Noticed large doubles consistently toward the end of the game or an extremely one-sided amount of perfect rolls for the computer. Very one-sided on the roll outcome. Imagine playing someone who doesn't roll the dice but places them on the board. Now imagine if they can also control your roll too! Exactly what this game is. More upsetting than enjoyable!! Uninstalling..

Interface look great. Flow is also decent. But needs improvement. There is no undo option for second move. The dice seems to favor the Ai as you increase the difficulty level of the game, often the Ai will make a poor move but seems to roll the perfect dice to beat you. Not recommended for those with high blood pressure!

The computer cheats on rolling the dice. It always rolls doubles or the exact number it needs to land on you to send you back. You quit the game you lose points, if the computer quits it doesn't lose points. NOT FAIR!!!!

This game when playing computer "does not play fairly" Always gets just the right rolls, always gets out n on the one I have unprotected. I can never get the roll I need or it constantly jumps. Out of 50 Me:9 Computer 41 and I have been playing this for many years. I have played many games just to see if this was true before I posted such a claim. Well seeing is believing. This game stinks!!!!

I am an excellent player downloaded game for some offline play. Computer is rigged. Don't waste your time

Nice graphics and game play ok.it has a couple of annoying faults though ...first is that the 3d slanted view means it's easy to call up the phone menu bar. The worse one is that theres no confirmation or undo button so its too easy to make an incorrect move without meaning to .one wrong move in backgammon and youre toast !!!!..

The "random " throw generator is heavily biased toward the computer giving it many sets of doubles in a games where I get none. It will be uninstalled and a better version sought.

Good board action. Computer makes silly moves every once in a while. Wish there was a double cube and you could play up to more than best out of three. Dice are random which is good.

Don't download it's a pc of crap. Computer always wins. If it has to roll 8 doubles in a row it will. Waste of time.

Very bad game really dull got bored straight away. Would not recommend anyone to download this app.

I found it better than another Backgammon that I had downloaded. With my previous download the same game was repeated all the time. With this one it's much less repetitive.

It would be nice if they had a better reward/ penalty system. It is awful irritating when someone quits a game you are winning and you don't get the full points.

Great version of BG! But they need 1 more harder level, their hatd isnt hard lol, plus a doubling cube would be nice, but overall the game mechanics are good

It has so many double you just dont want to play anymore...and it ends the game before it's done it won't let you go all the way to the end to see you winning....I'm going to Uninstall.

I enjoy playing on my free time with a cup of coffee. Wish there were more levels to challenge me more. I do love the challenge as I learn to play better. Got to learn how to 'beat' my husband when we play backgammon! Now after playing 2 months, this game frustrates me bc the "computer" strategically conveniently rolls the di to suit itself to win. OK if once in a while but all the time, something is "fishy in Manhatten" Not fun, not a good challenge. Uninstalled!

This game is a joke... if you know how to play backgammon, you will quickly realize how the rolls of the dice are not so random as one might expect, the game conveniently creates it's own opportunities to win and sets up its opponent, you, to loose in a very deceptive manner. While ocassioonaly I have one a few games, the predictability of loosing happens within the first few rolls of the dice. I'm looking to enjoy a challenge but not to fall prey to an intentionally manipulative algorithm.

I have never played backgammon before and wanted to learn. There is no tutorial for beginners and it is hard to comprehend the rules and strategies. If this is your first time, don't download find another that will walk you through it is a waste of time space and mgbs

If to you as a player the throws of the ai seem like magic or cheating, you're just not playing well enough. You can influence the game by thinking ahead and maximizing your chances, it's not just luck. On average I win (at hardest level), and I am certainly not world class.

Many players when they realise that they are loosing, I don't know how they do it but they manage to jump straight to get all the pieces out in a row. Very disappointing, hope will improve. Shame on you unfair players. ...

Smooth, no hangups. Would be nice if #1: you could fix moves when it's still your turn. Also, when you play difficult mode the odds are with the computer player (the dice are in favor too). It should be about skill, not lucky dice rolls

But it's close. Plus if I accidentally make a wrong move, which is easy to do with fat fingers and a small screen, it won't let you take it back when it lets you take back other moves. Other than that it is good just wish the dice were bigger. Changed my mind it does cheat uninstalling.

Great game. Once you start there is no end. Please add the function to block unfair gamers. A lot of people stop playing when they suddenly get a bad dice. That seriously s...ks!

It plays fair. No undo for any mistakes unless you have another left to move. Minimal help, part of its old school ways. No options for auto roll or auto finish, etc. but it is pleasant and honest.

This game is a trip. I play because its a challenge. Imagine playing someone and 85% of tha time your apponent gets the ultimate perfect roll of the dice. Well that what I experience on level 3. Example: I'm ahead by a lot and all of a sudden I only roll 2-1, over and over and the computer rolls double 6's and double5's. It's laughable but still a challenge to beat that kind of opponent. Pretty good but sometimes the ai makes dumb moves. I don't think they cheat... I will say I can't connect via google for some reason all of a sudden and so lost my 5000 accumulated points. boo

Play on the first difficulty, although the game weirdly starts out on the highest. Wish I had the option to change board background (as I do on Internet Backgammon on my laptop) & wish I can change the color pieces (like my mom has on her board game- she can change the brown chips to black. *grin*). The game is challenging, and very addictive when I'm on my phone, tablet, laptop or the board game!

Unfortunately unprofessional behaviour of some friends destroyed the value of the game. This group of players by the time the game he lost games play out.this behaviour causes loss of points is the winner. ai skill is intermediate, needs a double cube. games online show the programmers have never played bg before. this is yet another atrocious backgammon game. why cant u just make a bg game with good ai, a double cube and that use the correct rules to play you idiots? uninstalled.

Good game, the dice could be bigger. When the computer loses most of the time ends the game and need to start over. Spoke too soon. Lots of doubles for the computer and the exact dice when needed. Not so for the player. Also there is a bug. When player resigns computer gets 2 points. When computer resigns player gets only one point. Please fix. I got to the cheating part as well. Too bad, it looked really good in the beginning

Dice favours the AI. The upper section of the board is easy to make mistacke, since there's no option to undo your second move. Playin on mobile is nightmare.

Game is enjoyable, esthetically pleasing, nice sound, movement and control but the computer is programmed to cheat! Gets way too many doubles and exact dice to screw you when needed. Why can't they just make it fair and square???? Too bad. I'm uninstalling this!!!

It's a great game. The only complaints I have is that the computer opponent has far more double rolls then me and when we have doubles, you don't get another role.

The game would actually be perfect except that it: rarely actually starts a partnered game when you invite another player, the 1 time out of 20 that it succeeds, it then kicks that partner out of a multi-player game at random times without warning, doesn't always give all your double points (ex: roll a double six - instead of four moves it gives you two). Absolutely horrible. If you have it already, I suggest you find another app.

I love this game, thus I rate only 2 stars for the following reasons: 1) generally the opponents give up easily and you get only 9 points instead of 45 as you get for a win. if you have the chance of a gammon (90 points) and the coward you play with goes away, you receive only 9 frustrating points. Therefore you should get maximum points if opponent leaves and the opponent should lose some points too. 2) you cannot see who is online and cannot choose your opponent (unless if you have friends). So you play with an unknown player (player_number) without any statistics about previous matches with that player. 3) there is no chat where you can write something (pre-field words like "hello", "congrats", "come on please") 4) for your overall activity you have only the total number of points, no other statistics like how many victories and defeats. any player should have the percentage of victories so that you know a bit to what kind of player you deal. Well, maybe somebody will read our comments and come with improvements for the futures versions of the game. I will then rate more stars. As a big plus, there is no cheating in this game, the dices are very fair !
