Lionheart Tactics for Android
I enjoy the game, I think it's very reaching for a mobile game, it's well designed and plays very well. The screens are a little sticky sometimes with the camera angles, but I can understand why and I don't really mind. Things I would also say to add, 1 the attack range and type of each unit. 2 for skill splash and aoe to be shown to maximize potential. Also sometimes I accidentally skip cut scenes, so if there was some way to do the cut scene over again I'd like to see that as well. Great job
It's a well balanced game, but the main resource (gold) just requires too much grinding. It's too weighted toward pay, even for a freemium game. In addition, I would say there are too many stats and items to keep track of for a time waster. Trim off the fat and reduce the prices. Even paying for gold doesn't get you that far.
It seems to me that the creators knew what a tactics rpg was but were making one to make money instead of to make a good game. "Tactics" are shallow. Challenges increase by sending bigger stuff at you instead of actually creating creative scenarios. Leveling is primitive and dependant on purchases and apropriately chalenging levels quickly evaporate making the amount of time your able to play each day shorter if you don't put money into the game.
Unlike so many other turn-based tactics games this one doesn't require tons of micro-upgrading on the side. There is some, but not nearly as bad as others out there. In Lionheart you actually level your character by fighting, not by upgrading gear or synthesising exp. The levels are challenging. This is by far the best free to play tactics game I've seen to date.
It's like final fantasy tactics, but in a freemium format. There's absolutely no need to spend real money because you can earn everything in game. Like alot of games, it uses a stamina system, but in this game your health of your heroes is your stamina. If you have alot of heroes you can just keep playing. The packs are nicely balanced too, I get alot of rares and mythics on my drops, but the stone packs can be a pain.
A fantastic game if you enjoy tactic games! Hits all the right itches! Only issue so far is it costs wayyy to much to heal your team and the arena match making is kinda weird on who it puts you against but other then that it's totally worth giving a look!
The game is well paced, decent story, surprisingly rich characters. The flow of for-real-money is a bit slow. Most mobile games you play is hanging on until you get lucky with a rare draw or pull. In this game you can simply invest in the characters the game gives you and you can enjoy the majority of the content.
The game its self is really great but once you get past the beginig of the game it becomes way to difficult to obtain the stones required to upgrade past master lvl. King stones are the hardest thing to get yet almost every higher lvl unit requires them to upgrad. It should be either you can buy a specific stone for some in game currency or make the percentage to get the stones the sane for all of them or much higher then they are. It wouldn't be so bad but coins are too hard to get.
Great game and all. But it's way too easy to accidentally sell something when you are in the equip screen. The equip button should be swapped with the sell button. I've already sold 2 items that I wanted to equip. The unequip button is close to the item, so why is the equip button off to the right? It makes no sense.
A lot of fun, looks great, plays well. Only issue is the fact that it's structured around in-game purchases. Upgrades, respawn times, etc. All designed to make you put your hand in your pocket during what is an otherwise excellent and free game. (I would rather have paid for it than wait for my heroes to respawn)
The combat is pretty good, the visuals are also good, but the performance is very laggy. The menu hangs for several seconds when pressing buttons, and the loading times are quite bad. The worst thing about this game is how irritating the "mobile" elements are. All the time sinks and pay to win BS trying to coerce you into continuously spending money. It detracts from an otherwise decent game.
It is a lot of fun and addictive. I recommend playing it. The downside to the game is long loading time, generic story line, difficult to click on the correct unit on busy maps and some battles would be more fun with more than 6 characters. Upside is new special battles and a huge range of characters.
Love the art and the story was pretty engaging while it lasted. I installed this game over a year ago and there hasn't been a content update in that time. The campaign just ends halfway done. Would love to buy this as a full game with no freemium model, I'd pay a good 30 bucks for it.
Decent gameplay and the story keeps my attention. Theres a good mix of hero training and combat. Unit defeat has real weight since if they get injured or are defeated you must wait for them to recover. By doing this you are rewarded for good planning and it is satisfying to see you plans work. Only a few quirks: the camera isnt the greatest and its somewhat easy to fat-finger your movements. It is 3D though so it looks great if you can avoid these two things. Overall this is what I wanted in a game.
Decent games. 3-4-5days upgrade is just bad tho. And Xmas event made me waste all my crowns for no reason? No fix = me quitting. This game has potential. Also crashes a lot on me.
The battlefield view controls could use some tweaking, though. One big issue is characters automatically moving to get in range of the square you want to attack, especially when they move right into a poison square. Don't have them automatically move. Just outline the area we can attack from the current position.
Grindy but good fun! Better value required for IAP & there needs to be transparency for odds of pulling rewards from packs, otherwise it's a game for whales only. I'll likely stop playing after the campaign & will probably uninstall, which is a shame as this is my type of game - I'd quite happily pay £10+ for a full game without the absurd F2P model...
Very good Fire Emblem-esque game. I'd give it 5 stars, but it's extremely slow to load and there are lots of little issues that knock it down to 4. Still very much worth a download.
just a little difficult to notice the enemies and sometimes my own people. Also moving and then accidently clicking another unit of yours instead of the enemy to attack ends that units turn, wish it gave you the option to attack still after moving and selecting off
Very interesting game. Would like to replay stages to level up characters. Newly acquired characters later in the game can get left behind. Also I don't think anyone plays anymore. Wonder if dev team is even working with this game anymore.
Graphic..gameplay..5 star...the waiting time while regaining life sux..and there is nowhere to grind for money or exp when it gets hard.the random draw you rely on for characters is not..I get a priest every time as my 1st draw.and it's a bit buggy..it's a shame because the concepts are truly awesome and when u do get to play it's the best..right now I'm waiting an hour to recover my troops.
This game really cool. I play everyday.. but daily dungeon error. Its not reset. Plis fix. I cant play for lvling and not strong now to finish story now. Just fix dungeon hitory to make me fun leveling or make to rematch story to get gold.
There is no point in inconveniencing your customers if you don't have any real multiplayer features! Is that so hard to learn?
Abilities are cool, characters progress, lots of variety. Game play can be a little clunky to control. I would prefer if it were fought on a hexagonal battlefield, and if they made it harder to just walk around enemy troops.
Pretty good turn based tactics game, you actually do things in this game, unlike others, where you just send people out on quests. I'm at a patch now with not as much missions to undertake, hopefully it will not last much longer.
It's fun game play and nice that there's a lot of rpg elements, but it doesn't offer enough challenge or room for strategy to be higher. And when you reach a certain point the boards quadruple in difficulty so you can't win without spending real $$... my cue for next game.
Hero's take to much damage difficult to get them stronger items cost to much and there's to many hero's and only a few are good needs rebalance and better quality not quantity just another pay to win takes to long to train and recover from death and damage.
Great concept, like an updated ff tactics.... But looks like the devs and players have all but given up on this game!
The game keeps crashing on me right in the middle of battles its really annoying cause it doesn't save your progress. Five stars if this is fixed
Very good game. Wish it didn't have micro transactions but what can you do? If you like fire emblem, advance wars or ff tactics you'll like this game.
This game is great. I love tactic game and this one just hit the spot. Awesome graphic and feature. Just hoping king stone can drop more frequent or given more in mission reward
Such a beautiful wonderful but a little lag
the accuracy of range units seems like 1 in 3 hits only and that's pretty bad especially the rogues
Just wish there were side mission u can do continuesly to be able to level up and take on the harder later missions i hate that u have to continue the campiagn and not be able to stand up to the later enemies pls add replayable levels it would make things so much better pls and thank you other then that very good and amazing game love it
Instead of energy, each member of the party has health. So if your team didn't lose much health, you can venture forth. Each class has abilities and as your team moves up from novice to elite and so on, you unlock new abilities. You can't redo levels once they are completed however there is a weekly dungeon and you don't run into a brick wall in the quests. I've played games when eventually quests become impossible unless you spend money. This isn't one of those games.
Fantastic tactical game with room for improvement. It's quite laggy when using various skills, especially runebinders and thieves. Manually changing equipment to specialise troops takes forever so it's mostly just auto equip. If I can think of any more inundate my review.
I've spent over sixty bucks in this game so it's safe to say I enjoy it, but I've got several heroes stuck at novice stage simply because no matter how much I spend, you refuse to give me king stones. I'm starting to feel like I'm just being robbed. You spend money to benefit from it but I'm not benefiting! Either allow people to buy specific stones or stop making heroes that require king stones because this is beyond ridiculous. Such a fun game shouldnt also be such a rip off.
This game is all around very well done. Challenging yet beatable. Can grind to make it easier or jump right in. Also some interesting ways to get new heroes and boost your characters. Some of the dialog is mediocre is the only downside I have really gotten thrown off by. I pick it up everyday and is one of the better games for the phone I have found.
A few stages in and difficulty increases. Thanks to godlike rng on the free wheel spin my recruits became novices early on. I noticed that every step of the way the difficulty kept rising. I didn't feel like my characters had gotten any stronger even with new weapons n gears. Overall game is enjoyable. FREE SPIN once per day until rng gods bless you with something decent to progress.

The game reminds of Final Fantasy Tactics. Not exactly the same though... both have their own subtleties and of course mechanics. Both are worth playing. Tactic games like this are alot like an advanced chess game meets role playing. The pieces are animated, and can be advanced, manipulated etc... but theres certain abilities and rules that always persist. The difficulty etc increases as the player progresses. FF Tactics has a very advanced level and enjoyable story. This game is good, price / easy entry.
