About MathDoku Extended

MathDoku Extended integrates MathDoku with calculator!

The game is based on the famous Mathdoku from Ben Buxton and his team, an open source implementation of hit KenKen ® game, as printed in the New York Times and The Times (UK). The game is similar to Sudoku but uses a little math.

Our extension has several improvements over the original:

- integrated call to DigitCalc - a simple calculator that computes all combinations of one-digit numbers which gives a desired result for selected mathematical operation. It is a standalone application which can be used with games such as KenKen ®, MathDoku, Killer Sudoku, Kakuro and similar. If DigitCalc is called from the game, it automatically gives possible combination for selected cage considering already resolved cells and if cage is in line (so without duplicates).

- enable long touch to fill cell. No need to constantly switch between normal and 'maybe' mode. Just tap shortly to put 'maybe' or long touch to put the solution into a cell.

- bigger board
- bigger 'maybe' numbers
- 3x3 digit panel
- new theme with more visible colors

Features removed from the original:
- swipe
- scrolling text on top
- penalty on check progress
- sharing by e-mail

If you are missing some of the removed features and/or don't need the added features please stick to the original. If you like our work and have some suggestions or complaints, feel free to contact us at:

You don't understand my issue. I WANT to lose my archive when I uninstall and reinstall Mathdoku Extended. By losing my archive, I would get a new bar graph. The way you have it now, once I have played 250 games at a particular level, the bar graph never changes for that level of difficulty. Please either 1. Let me lose my archive when I uninstall and reinstall the game, 2. Give me a button to erase my archive, or 3. Make the bar graph show the most recent 250 games. I prefer choice 2 or choice 3.

A simple delight. Rarely do I consider an app or location worth the 5 stars.

Bug report: As soon as you finish a game, it disappears from the screen, and you can't even access your past games in the archives. Update: They fixed this the next update after I reported it.

I only play hardest 9x9. 1. Give option to auto fill entire board at start of game with maybes. (All 9 or digitcalc ... All 9 would be preferred by me) 2. Place maybes in 3x3 grid. 3. Double tap or long press green square for auto fill when only one maybe left. Also: 10x10? 11x11? … NxN? (I would like to try a 25x25 or something insane like that ... Would tax the hell out of my ability to factor numbers in my head, fun!) All in all, my favorite amongst the versions in play store ...

Great way to exercise your brain, but it needs two changes. 1. There should be a"Contact us" button in the help menu. 2. It keeps statistics in the form of a bar graph with games on the x-axis and time used to solve on the y-axis. It keeps a different bar graph for each grid size, but each grid size has different degrees of difficulty, and the degrees of difficulty are all combined in the same bar graph for each grid size. This doesn't make sense.

At last - an even better adaptation of Ben's original game that was then ruined for so many fervent players. Great improvements and very friendly developer who welcomes comments

Tried all the others. This one let's you pick the size of the board AND a difficulty level for each. 9x9 and 4/5 difficulty is very very hard.

This is the only kenken type app I know of that has the calculator built in. This is a fantastic game. Definitely a must for all fans of this type of game. I cannot praise this app enough! Well designed, well executed. Just perfect in every way. The inclusion of the calculator, which is just fine on its own, makes checking up so much easier. I'd gladly pay for this app.
