Super Sudoku

No pencil option. I really like the simple layout, color/design and such. It has a pseudo pencil option. It will shrink the numbers but only after adding a second number into a square. I tried some other sudoko games and most have a pencil option allowing you to enter a single number as a small placeholder. Not having it in this game can make it difficult if you are are just trying to isolate a single number. I love the levels of difficulty. I think they are appropriately set. Design contrast is very good making it easy to see numbers and grids. Please please. Please add the pencil option.

Now does not work properly. The ads at the end of the game now cause a 'lock up', requiring a Force Stop and Clear Cache. Was a really good implementation of the puzzle; I would have liked Killer to have been added for perfection. Was loving this app on my Galaxy tablet and on my S6 phone. Sadly, I may now have to use an alternative app.

I can play this for hours, however, they have added adds which I normally do not mind. Currently 3 stars because 90% of the adds bug and I have to restart the game every time I complete a game. It will act like a 5 sec timer is going to start and instead of counting down it stay blue, back buttons do not work, must reset game. Please fix for 5 stars

Gave this game 5 stars for several years. And when they started showing ads after the game, that was OK. But now the ads often freeze the phone. OR they blare loud music so everyone can tell I'm playing a game. Really bummed that I have to go out and find a new app when this one had been so good.

Fixed the issues I had with it a while back that made it harder to check my accuracy easily. Really enjoyable now. Only improvement I'd suggest would be to sync it with the cloud so progress could be kept from one phone to the next - but that's a minor quibble!

The app locks up when an add is displayed. I am sure I just beat my best time on a puzzle, but the pop up adds appear the instant you finish a game, and the adds cannot be closed. The only way to clear the lock up is to bail out of the game, so I don't get to see my score! Very frustrating! I used to enjoy this game, but now I can't stand it.

What happened?!?! I've enjoyed this app for years. The latest ads lock the game up so that I have to exit via app manager! I would be happy to pay to avoid ads but there's no option to do so. Please fix the ad problem so at least we can back out of them. Seems to be the YOU Travel one causing the lockout.

I've read a lot of reviews here. This is one of my favorite games, doesn't seem to work with android 6.0. Developer was out of touch for a while but everything is fine now. Maybe the problem was Samsung (note edge) Update: just got LG V 20 with Android 7.0. Game works seamlessly! Glad to have its full functionality again. Maybe it was Samsung issue, maybe it was 6.0. Guess I won't know for sure.

A "Smile Insurance" ad WILL NOT GO AWAY. You can't get this ad to close. No x shows up. The "Ad Choices" link to report it DOES NOT WORK. You can't even back out of the ad even after waiting over a minute. The only option that works is to open the ad. This is NOT acceptable. These ads make this game not worth it. I've reported this to Google.

The game itself is great, but the ads which start up as soon as a game is complete have a blaring sound which overrides my phone silent setting. This is very embarrassing and disturbing to people around me. I don't have the lock problem, however.

I love the game BUT recently I've noticed ads for "virtual reality car dealers" that don't have the "x" that allows me to close it. The ad hijacks my app and doesn't let me play another game. Can these ads be discontinued?

Played this game for years on my old phone, and was able to use the back button to get out of the ads at the end of each puzzle. However, I just upgraded to an S7, it worked just fine for 2 days, and now ads after each puzzle lock up my phone and in order to get to the next puzzle, I have to hit the home screen button, close the game in 'recent apps', reopen the game, and then navigate through the opening screens. After doing this 5+ times in a row, while doing the easy-level puzzles (which take me about 2 minutes each), I am ready to call it quits. Unless this issue is fixed IMMEDIATELY, I am going to delete this app & find a different sudoku game for my phone.

I love this game. I just got the Galaxy S5 and the menu button has been re-purposed causing no access to the menu screen in the game. I can't pause or check the puzzle for errors any longer. Update so I can play again please!

This was my favourite Sudoku game until it was ruined by ads that the only way you can get rid of them is to force close the app. Even clicking the ad doesn't work. Not good! You've shot yourselves in the foot with that.

I'm bringing my review down one star because there are ads that I cannot exit without clicking on something I don't want to click, and need to force stop the app to get to the next game. Other than that, it's great!

A real time check would be nice. Different backgrounds would also be nice to reduce eye strain when playing in a dark room. Otherwise, top notch puzzle app. I've been play for years and will probably transfer it to my new phone years from now.

Used to be a great game. I don't mind ads but they are now causing the game to require restarting after most ads. Even if you click on the ad you still need to restart. Just a waste.

This is by far the best Sudoku app available. My only complaint is that after years of playing it, an extra row of buttons appeared at the bottom. The "reset all puzzles" button is too easy to accidentally press.

Can't close ads sometimes.X on top right corner of ads sometimes does not show. App has to be forced closed to work again. Will update rating after problem is fixed.

The pop up ads, many of them, actually lock the device from further play even after looking at the ads's website! This completely spoiled the fun of this otherwise very good game.

My favorite. Some of the more popular ones are a little too flashy and take too much of the work out of it.. This one does a great job of providing useful note taking tools while still making me exercise my brain/make mistakes :)

My favorite version of sudoku. However the latest update crashes whenever an ad comes up. I'm good with funding from advertising right up until it makes the game unplayable.

Every single puzzle completion shows a VERY brief glad of time finished and whatever, then a full-screen ad that doesn't go away, back button does nothing the the ONLY way to actually play is to close the app and reopen. Absolutely unacceptable.

Was a great game, then came the ads, which was annoying, and now the ads lock you out of the game, which is incredibly frustrating and totally unnecessary. It's hard to recommend the game now.

The game is great but the full screen ads in the recent version are so annoying and block the phone that I've downgraded my 5 star rating. I'd happily pay instead but this is not offered.

Excellent game, but my S5 has hijacked the button used to check accuracy, reset, etc., which is very disappointing. I hope the developer can find a fix for this. The developer did fix this by adding a menu button and this is once again the best Sudoku game you'll ever play!

This is a very nice game, but lately the addition of the ads made it a real pain. After completiontjead shows up but never goes away. Need to close app then restart to be able to get to screen.

Great app. Only suggestion I would make is the number panel on the bottom needs to be bigger on bigger screens, ie tablets. It actually appears smaller on my tablet than on my phone.

This is a great app until they started using Facebook advertising. Now the game is an irritation to play. Facebook ads at random will not let you return to the app. I have to completely close the app and restart.

Best sudoku app there is. I dont get ads at the end so the app doesnt crash for me. Been using it for 2 years. You dont get hints so dont expect easy stuff when youre stuck!

This was a great game. The new ad set up means you are locked out of your game after every second ad until you force stop the app.

It is very nice to play without an intent to compete with anyone else! I often use it during nights when I have difficulties to fall asleep again.

Great fun but dumb ads freeze phone n can't be deleted. Don't play much any more. Too bad.

Changing my review from 5 down to 2 stars as the ads at the end are completely blocking play. Even after closing and reopening ad is still there. I'm very sorry but deleting the app to find another one.

Ruined app with ads that have no way to exit without clicking on them and being directed to that website. Was a great app. Don't mind ads but this is terrible now!

This was the best app and I would be glad to pay for it to avoid locking up from the Facebook linked ads. Seems to be the only ones to cause the problem.

The ad for the "Wish" app has locked up the game making it unusable. Cannot dismiss the ad.

Alternative game modes really make this app stand out and fun. The only downside is that many ads don't seem to load properly and become unclosable.

The ads after completing a board cannot be closed. Must kill the app.
