Holoku Demo for Android
I just bought a Galaxy SIII and, when looking around for well designed apps, saw this mentioned online. Not being a huge sudoku fan, I thought I'd uninstall it quickly, but I actually ended up loving it. I will be buying the full version! My two suggestions are this: 1. Separate out the options for highlighting conflicting candidates into one for actual entries and one for notes. I personally enjoy figuring everything out on my own, but would like to know if I make a mistake once I actually decide on a number so I don't have to take a bunch of steps backwards later. 2. Figure something out for that bottom gray space. On a SGSIII, it's pretty large. Obviously, this is just an aesthetic suggestion, but it looks SO good otherwise!
Unlike other sudoku games I've seen, it's optimised for tablets. However I wouldn't buy a full version unless there is a 'save' or 'undo' button... I don't want to restart the whole thing from scratch if I make a mistake...
Good design but the colour scheme makes it hard to tell which are the original numbers especially when there is red highlighting. You should have a Google Play button to make it easy to buy the full version.
Will definitely purchase the full version!
Beautiful and responsive, however there are some graphical errors on my HTC Hero running Cyanogenmod 7.2. The menu with reset/preferences/about has the text at odd spots because of the icons. Then the pencil marks on the bottom don't display their numbers. Finally, the only input method is 'select spot, select number(s)', which is annoying for me as I prefer to 'select number, select spot(s)'.
This works great on my GNexus and was the only holo themed sudoku app I could find. Should be more popular, needs blog support or something
On Android! Any chance of getting an undo function?
What a great looking application. Keep it up. Love how you implemented the holo theme.
This is the only Sudoku that feels like it belong on modern android.
Played one game on the Demo version. Uninstalled it, and bought the paid version. Keep up the good work!
