İstanbul Kalkınma Ajansı tarafından desteklenen “Teknoloji Yoluyla Otizmli Çocukların Öğrenme
Fırsatlarının Artırılması Projesi” Tohum Otizm Vakfı tarafından yürütülmektedir.Proje kapsamında dezavantajlı
konumda olan otizmli çocukların iletişim, akademik ve günlük yaşamda kullanabilecekleri kavramları teknoloji
yardımıyla her ortamda daha etkin, kolay ve eğlenceli öğrenebilmeleri için www.tohumegitim.com sitesi
hazırlanmıştır.Tohum Vakfı Özel Eğitim Okulu uzmanları, okul öncesi özel eğitim dönemindeki ve ilköğretimin
1.kademesinde özel eğitim kapsamında veya kaynaştırma öğrencisi olarak eğitim alan otizmli çocuklara kazandırılması
hedeflenen kavram öğretim setleri için 20 adet kavram öğretim programı geliştirmişlerdir. Teknoloji yoluyla
çocukların öğrenme olanaklarını artırılmasının hedeflendiği proje dahilinde İstanbul’da, biri Tohum Vakfı Özel
Eğitim Okulu olmak üzere iki özel eğitim okulunda pilot uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulamaya katılan
çocuklar, öğretmenler ve ebeveynlerin değerlendirmelerini dikkate alarak yazılımda gerekli değişiklikler
tamamlanarak www.tohumegitim.com hizmete açılmıştır.Ücretsiz olarak yararlanabilinecek www.tohumegitim.com
sitesinin içerdiği kavram öğretim seti yazılımlarının yaygınlaştırılması için İstanbul’da Bağcılar, Kadıköy,
Şişli, Zeytinburnu ve Beylikdüzü ilçelerindeki eğitmenlere ve ailelere tanıtıcı seminerler verilmiştir.Proje
takvimi kapsamında zamanlama olarak tamamlanması ardından siteden ücretsiz olarak yararlanmaya devam edebilirsiniz,
