I love hexic and this is a good mockup of that game, EXCEPT for one major flaw. Over 50% of men are color blind and there is no option to add symbols to help the color challenged. I couldn't make 2 moves without having problems telling green from orange.

Pretty average. A few things could be improved. Selection display is terrible - this annoyed me the most. It needs to be changed from white and needs to not fade in and out. Flower around a star doesn't drop another star. Flower around a black pearl destroys the pearl. Spinning a black pearl into completing a star of black pearls and a trio counts a trio.

A great homage to the hexic fans out there, you won't be disappointed. The one thing I would like improved is the cluster highlighter, as sometimes it can be hard to see. Other than that- very pleased.

Making a flower around a star should make another star to cascade down from above. No such results took place. Also, bonus pieces should react when combo of 3 bonus pieces is formed. Furthermore, bombs should react with clusters of bonus pieces.

I wasn't ever good at this on my Xbox but I played it a few times. This seems to be correct. Works with Jelly Bean with no issues yet. Some background music like Bejeweled has would be a nice thing to add.

There's a scoring bug that seems like the score (an Integer) overflows and becomes negative. Otherwise, it's all good.

I have been a hexic (xbox360) addict for years, this game came very close to the original. I finally beat marathon mode. Level 15, 4.5mil pts. So excited! A true puzzle game!

Would be great but one of the mechanisms of the game was left out... if you make a star around an existing star its supposed to drop a new one on top.

Nice game otherwise, but a well-known AV tells me it's classified as malware. Of all the apps I have downloaded this is the only one. Why? What does it do to get this reputation? Uninstalling until it's deemed safe.

So I had this game on my zune when they first came out and I was sitting here bored thinking I wonder if this game is for android... so I looked for it, found it, then played it. IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! Thank you!! I'm so happy I found it. It fills the little void I'm my soul

It has its flaws but with all things considered it's a pretty good game. It's definitely the best version of Hexic in the app store. I just wish it had music.

The only thing I don't like is that the highlighted hexagons don't stand out enough. Sometimes in timed mode I make mistakes because I am rushed. Fix this problem and i will easily give this game 5 stars.

So glad I found this. I've been missing Hexic since I left Symbian OS behind years ago, and this is a fine replacement. It's a very functional work-in-progress, and I would happily pay for ad-free and a clearer selection box. Otherwise, thumbs up! BTW, it looks fine even scaled up to fill my N7000's 1280x800 display :)

Glenn has the review nailed with one addition - please add a colorblind mode. But I still love this game. Edit - I made a starflower around a black peal and lost the pearl. Please fix.

is a only and basic version of the game available now... difficult to identify current selection, and when you create a hexic... the star is not coming up... besides that boms are coming before the tiles with stars. decent game but lot to improve.

I enjoy the game, but since I am red-green colorblind it is difficult to tell some of the colors apart. It'd be nice if you could make a mode where you use symbols instead of colors.

The outline of your three is hard to see. I wasn't to keen on the arrow tabs on the ottom of the screen. Its an ok game but I've plaed better

A very decent knockoff of Hexic, I especially like that the program saves games for later play. I have a few gripes, creating a starflower around a starflower gives you points but does not create a new starflower, this should be remedied.

I missed playing hexic (christ that was in 2007 or something) on msn messenger so I looked for it and found this. very good knockoff. like a lot have said, the starflower-in-the-middle not making another starflower on top kind of sucks but I love it anyway.

I played the same game for days and I made a flower of black pearls and it just ended my game! What a waist of time. If I had known I wouldn't have made it!

It's very hard to determine which sets you highlight. I think the point system is pretty much pointless too. Half a million for a pearl and basically nothing for everything else. Ridiculous! Miss hexic on msn games!!

Would give an easy 5 stars if selected pieces were highlighted better.can be very hard to see which pieces are selected at times.

A very good hexic knockoff that's missing a few key mechanics, most notably giving you a new star if you build a circle around an existing star. Also the highlighting needs to better.

It feels like I have been looking for Hexic since the mankind swang from jungle vines. For that reason alone, it gets 4 stars, but truthfully, it needs refinement. Main gripe is that I find it hard to see which stars I have selected. Thanks nonetheless! I still play this often.

Needs higher resolution graphics, and a colorblind mode. It's really tough to see the highlight and the green and yellow tiles are almost impossible to tell apart if you are colorblind. The game is heavily pixelated on a tablet.

I was able to play after download for a couple of minutes (Very difficult to tell which pieces are highlighted btw) before it crashed. Now it crashes every single time I try to open it. Uninstall... Samsung Epic Galaxy S

More stars when you make it more challenging.

I've been waiting for SO LONG to play this game on my phone! -wish I could see outline a little better, otherwise excellent!

Had to reboot after initial download to get it took work, but other than that pretty nice. I little work and it'll be give star.

Making a star flower formation around an existing star flower doesn't result in a new one dropping from the top, which is one of the key functions making it possible to set up the field. Since issues like this have been pointed out for over a year I guess you're not supporting the app anymore.

Nice. You should think of a new algorithm of cluster selection, sometimes it just selects not the one I tried to choose, and I tapped hard in different ways, and with the pale selection frame we've got disaster then. You should make option to choose the rules (modes) classic and Hexoid - you can't make a flower around a star (which make it harder to get) but you need only a cluster of a pearls to be created to finish a game (which is definitely easier then the original black pearl flower) it's a rebalance!

Has all the features of the original game but it lacks excitement. Plus there's no how-to-play (in case needed), the bombs are no real threat, the highlighter could be clearer, the resolution is very poor. Once you've put 3 black clusters together you're done with it.

2 issues: 1. Need tablet version, doesn't scale great on nexus 10, and you have to keep the tablet in portrait mode. 2. The game needs a better way of highlighting the selection, it is very hard to tell what is currently selected during game play. I haven't had any other issues, great game.
