Crowntakers for Android
So fun game, enjoyed playing it over and over. Very disappointed in the ending. Just crappie story ending. Two crappie endings. Just left you feeling unfafilled. Also anyone notice only black guy in the whole game is evil?
The only thing I wish is that it was a bit more open and less funneled story wise. That is just personal preference though.
Crowntakers is okay. Like other rogue-likes, you'll need to spend your first 5-7 playthroughs just collecting experience and new mercenaries to hire. This is a grind and not the most fun portion of the game. It gets better as you start to unlock different configurations for your hero and the various mercenaries, but by then you might be tired of the gameplay since you had to grind so much just to get there. It's an okay game but it would be better if it were more fun right from the start without the up-front investment of time and energy.
Has many nice elements to it with a clean look and nice sound design. The biggest issue so far is the very small text that the game has. Makes it hard to fully enjoy it.
By far the best mobile game to date. Hard to master but really makes you think. Loads of fun. Replay value is massive, I've been playing it on and off for 2 years.
Loved it, the mechanics were great. As a diehard tactics fan this game fits the bill
My only regret is that I have but 5 stars to give
I love everything about this game. It is definitely showcasing what mobile gaming can be.
Yes. Very yes
Beat the game easy in 7 tries and the dlc only adds 1 awesome character to let you win easy. The stories of the NPC's that were promised never showed up. Only for different archetypes for game benefits. Best game ever to sucker me twice for $. Fun game but it's just a grind game like candy crush but unlike cc it does not continue.
A Quirky premise, colourful and vibrant art, smooth animations, randomly generated worlds with every new start, day/night cycling, solid and addictive gameplay that includes boardgame-like exploration plus tactical turn-based battles all executed beautifully make this title a truly worthy purchase! Crowntakers is a joy to behold and hard to put down. How about adding an endless adventure mode without the time challenge and possibly more mercs? Looking forward to supporting your future updates!
Fun and Unique UPDATE: The more I play the game, the more I love it! Yep, it can be hard, but it's made to be. When you die (Easy), you don't loose your levels (or special gear), so you have to build your team up before tackling the harder stuff. ORIGINAL: There are little twists to this game that makes it unique within the genre. It can be hard, but certainly doable. I love that you have to use your brain to work through difficult areas and not just throw IAP solutions at it. Almost any good non-IAP game is worth getting and this one is no exception. I highly recommend getting it and all add-ons (only one, currently).
Too short campaign...I finish normal very easy u just must have aoe range mercenaries with ring of 30% stun n break 2 armour...gonna purchase the undead campaign... hopefully u include priest...paladin...barbarian for ur next stage...or mecha....or dwarf or goblin...or elf...or orc....or...goblin or wolf riders or Calvary or elephant Calvary or tanks or lol...anyway this game must hav n must buy...the randomness of mercs n stuff make this game hard n urself wanna play it over n over again
I really like the characters and the random/procedural elements of this game. Combat is fun and challenging. I haven't been able to get very far on normal difficulty as it can be brutal but the easier mode is also fun and can be challenging until you level up a little.
Definitely a lot of fun, kind of a shame to see it not getting more downloads. It's perfectly described in it's product description, but basically it is a turn-based battle game that works kind of like a rogue-like. It's challenging, but not unfairly so. Give it a download, it's definitely fun and worth the price of admission if you are interested in tbs tactical battles.
While the game can be difficult at the beginning, once you figure out a couple strategies and unlock some abilities, it's not that hard and I was able to reach the ending in 4 days. For a buck it's definitely worth it but the DLC, in comparison, may not quite be so. Hopefully they'll continue working on the game since I'd like to see additional content and updates.
This game has so much strategical and tactical depth. To unlock the mercenaries your plan for every game is different. And every combat as well. Just bought the expansion and it's great as well. Make more and I'll buy.
I find it fun but doesn't really grab you. Not a fan that you have to touch the arrows to move around the "map" find it slows it down.
good roguelike rpg, enjoyable in short burst, the dlc only add 1 new mercenary and 1 map kinda pricey
Cant say if it would be a good game or not, but extra tiny font make it painful to play even on bigger phones(galaxy note 5). Probably would be OK for tablets
I purchased the dlc but the necropolis merchant are always empty, and the undead stage doesn't have a recruiter in the inn so I always avoid it.
Simply put, this game is quite well made, and full of quality content. This game has so much to do! Although there is a tutorial that teaches you the basics of the game, the developers leave it to you to find out how to truly master the it. If you are looking for a game that will entertain you for hours, and that takes skill to play, then GET THIS GAME my friend, you will not be let down!
Great game! Complex enough to keep attention but casual enough to pick up and play when you have 10 mins. Nice attention to detail with the dialogue after resting too - maybe make some alternate endings?
Can get stupid hard at times. But i like a challenge. Good luck playing on Normal...
The game itself is fun, but the menus and text are very small on my Galaxy S6. Would really appreciate a UI scale option.
Very good game but there should be Hard level, I finished Normal in one day. There is replay value though to unlock other mercenaries.
This game is challenging, polished, professional and gorgeous to look at. Far and away the best mobile game I have played ever. Isometric, turn-based combat 4 eva.
Finally freed the king
On my Galaxy S6 the interface is way too small. Please release an update to make the text and buttons slightly larger (as an option in the settings).
Solid crossover of tactics and roguelike games
Difficult, buy keeps you entertained
Cannot purchase DLC. The "Purchase" button is just disabled.
Really good game I wish they'd make more games like this
Great game. Very addictive. Charming visuals and sound.
Just wasnt what i thought it was going to be deleted it after i wasted the money on it
Difficult, but fun RPG
If you love strategy games you won't be disappointed!!! Complete worth the money!!
I'd like to cancel
Worth the download! Similar to Wesnoth!

**UPDATES: Waited a year after an email from developers said they would be fixing the blown speaker sound in this game. Ugh!** ...... Still not fixedSound & graphics were so bad I uninstalled instantly. The loading time to even begin the game took forever. Very Disappointed... Can't get refund now, I forgot I had tried this app before =(
