I would recommend a few tweaks. (1) Reduce the size of the missile a little and you can use a better background (2) Increase the scrolling speed of the game gradually so that first player can adjust with the game mechanics and then throw some challenges to the user.

Brutal, but balanced difficulty. Easy to pick up and play. Leader boards keep me coming back for more up punishment.
