The concept behind the game is good and feels quite fresh. The visuals are basic but do the job. It would be really helpful if there was an option to display the pinyin for the characters somewhere, and possibly the translation of the words on completion. Sometimes I create words I don't know the meaning of, even though I know the individual characters.
