About 4 Player Chess
4 Player Chess gives a twist to one of the most classic games, and takes it to a whole other level by doubling the players on the a board. 4 Player Chess allows you to play choose from 2 different layouts and play against any number of computers or friends in a 4 player chess game.
Choose between a "free for all" game where everyone competes against each other or playing in teams (2v2 or 3v1). 5 different difficulty levels are available and harder ones are to come. Load and save games in order to easily come back to a game.
Interactive play lets you personalize the gaming experience such as see the possible moves for a piece, keep track of the last moves of each player's latest move, choose the response time, choose between 2 backgrounds, choose to keep or to remove a player's pieces when he dies, and more.
And it is always possible to play a classic 2 player game.
More updates planned and will include harder difficulties, online play, and much more.
I'm always open to hearing suggestions from the community so feel free to contact me and give me your input or suggestions!

This is a pretty good app. It'll probably get better with subsequent versions. Also very nice that it's ad free. Makes for an intriguing chess variant.

It's a good game I guess but all computer players came for me and didn't attack the other computer. I was overtaken and overwhelmed. Didn't seem fair.

I liked it, but then i took a disappointment to the knee... Edit: Wrong game... Have another 4 player chess app...

When playing the traditional 2 player chess or 4 player, some of the basic rules of chess are not followed. For instance, it is against the rules to castle while in check. Also if your opponent controls the space your king crosses while castling, castling is against the rules. Overall not a bad app for the 4 player mode though. Just update the rules a bit and it'll be better. ;)

I love this game! Another suggestion I have is making teams available, for 2v2 games. I think that would be cool.

It needs global multiplayer and putting in 3 player chess would be a nice add but other than that awesome app

Nice app! I have a 4 player set at home, one option of game play is that the player who takes an opposing players king will then assume that players other pieces to play. Any thoughts on that being an option in the future?
