Pixel Soldiers: The Great War

Great game. I was hooked as soon as I completed the first mission. I decided I should go ahead and buy a different pixel soilder game, and it was as good as this one! They are all great games, but the strategy is hard to master and it takes mutiple tries to complete a level. I don't mind it, but other people might so I am warning you guys who want to try it for fun. I'm not saying it isn't fun; it's hard as well. I love the game, personally and can't wait for future updates.

I've bought several games from this Dev and have I've never been disappointed. Like most genre's we play, we jump to and fro, here and there, trying different styles of games. When you come back to a certain genre, it's nice to see your favorite Dev is still producing quality, historical battle simulations at a more than fair price. Glad to be back..now "FIX BAYONETS.. DO YOU WANNA LIVE FOREVER..CHAAAAARRRRGGGG!!!!

Good game but some scale issues in terms of weapon range. For example, in the waterloo game, infantry has a range of 2 square, napoleonic muskets could occasionally hit at 200 meters so that roughly matches up if we are to assume each square is 100 meters. The same scale is used for this game and it's fairly inappropriate, ww1 rifles could shoot fairly far. In addition, I'm not sure what the unit scale is but German Battalions in 1914 had approximately 1000 men as opposed to 600. Other than the esoteric issue I mentioned it's a good game but I think the waterloo game is more historically accurate.

I love your game. It is the perfect thing I have been looking for. But I found a glitch..... When you charge or retreat towards the bodys of water your troop disperse! I was on sandbox defending an amphibious landing and I charged the beach and the troop I was charging with disipeared, it made me loose a good defending troop. But other than that I love it. One suggestion: make your own map.

Awesome game! I have spent hours on end just playing Sandbox mode, and I am never disappointed! I see this game is older now and I'm not sure you still accept game suggestions, but maybe add bi-planes and far larger and more maps, maybe a higher amount of allowed troops for huge battles. Thanks!

I am totally in love with this little gem! Just a few small tweaks could go a long way in this game. For example; why can't I see the different army's stats BEFORE I select them? I can check on the battlefield, but that does me extremely little good when deciding the best way to spread around funds. Frustrating. But other than that, this game is beyond wonderful. Stop reading this and go buy the damn game already!

I think this game offers a wide range of scenarios and possibilities. I especially like the sandbox mode because it allows me to pitch massive armies against each other which makes This game ideal for passing time or when I have nothing to do. I believe the series of games you have produced so far are amazing. I would love now to see something like Lord of the rings being implemented to the line as that would be cool to see! maybe the battles of helme's deep, osgiliath, reclaiming osgiliath, minas tirith and the battle of the black gate. I'm very satisfied with all the work and effort that has gone into creating this app please continue production of these kinds of games as they never seize to amaze me, thanks.;)

This is has to be one of if not the best android game I have played so far. The game is extremely simple in controls with a deep sense of strategy. I highly recommend this game for anyone who enjoys turned based strategy games. I just hope that the developer keeps up support for the game.

It was an amazing game but I do wish there was more levels to the game or being able to create my own sandbox levels with detail suchas the British and French siege of Istanbul after completing Gallipoli or the 100 days offensive for my emjoyment. For story I wish there were more battles like Brusilov or Meuse Argonne. Thank You.

Ive commetted so many times and deleting it but i have one other thing to say and that is on sand box i think u should add more maps, be able to put down barbwire and more countries like serbia or bulgaria cuz them countries done some major thing in ww1. Idc if u dislike this idea but i just thought of it but everything else is fun and i play your game all the time when im bored and when im offline.

The game rewards tactical thinking, but keeps the play style simple. I've only played on normal difficulty so far which is fairly forgiving, as many is the time I've seen a fairly healthy unit flee in terror from a poor choice, but still been able to recover due to Ai's lack of aggresion. The game looks very pretty to, and even though the art is fairly simple, it leaves quite a striking end game battlefield, with bodies and trenches littering the battlefield. Warning: This isn't a game for more action oreintated people =)

Reminds my of age of empires in a way. It is by far the best game I have ever played on google play. If you can't afford it then get a job because this game is THE best.

It is absolutely perfect. Campaign is as it should be, battles are strategic, but not too complicated (i think thats what i like the most about this series) and sandbox is a great addition. Couldnt ask for more really, keep these coming ;))

Love the game, one thing though, I'd like to see unit diversity with the machines so instead of having all french artillery maybe give countries that didn't get French support thier own pieces such as Romania,Italy, and Russia. Also could you make a game that focuses around ww1 in the balkans or could you add Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, and Bulgaria?

Great game! It would be cool if the bodies were spread out on the tile, and maybe also shell holes and the like. Not necessarily for this game, but at some point. But that's just me dreaming, the game is perfect the way it is.

I love this game and it's depth, yet simplicity. I'm hoping for a Spanish-American War or Russo-Japanese War version in the future (fingers crossed.)

Great game, love the art style and the mechanics are soooooo good. Loving it good job jolly pixel you make the best games. If you like historical battles from WW1 then I would totally buy, worth every penny. P.S. I also love how you respond to almost all of your reviews and your games reflect that.

Very good game What about the Russian Revolution will that be feature in the game. Will there be a feature we can use campaign maps in sandbox mode.. Can we place unit in sandbox mode where we want it. Like make a line of Artillery then trenches. Can we see different counties face off with each other in sandbox Frnwxh vs British.

Reeeeaaally liked liked it but an idea if I may, when we are doing sandbox mode if you could allow a setting where I can compose the army of whichever soldiers I which, so for instance I could have french soldiers fight British soldiers or Germans against Austrians if I so wished, thanks

It's good but there are some minor things to be changed like when a unit engages another unit can it face it so it looks like they are fighting. Apart from that it is amazing!

Pretty good game id like to see a world conquests or something close to that or a world war 2 one. But overall its a great game keep it up ????

I love this game there are very few games like this that are good. Great Job. One thing that would be cool is if you could make your own sandbox maps.

It's great just it would be way cooler if there was a diplomacy campaign or diplomacy sandbox and when you clash you do the regular battles that happen in this game that would be really cool

Split game, needs more battles, I would also recomend putting in optipns for gas attacks in the artillery guns

I like it, but the gallipoli battle is bassicly impossible, because AI gets reinforcements every turn. Im not plaaying as entente powers. im playing as central powers. Im not plaaying as entente powers,

Slapping a WW1 skin over a game that was so excellent in a civil war setting leaves a lot to be desired. That said, I'll still purchase the next Pixel Soldiers game.

I love everything about this game and the ones before it. I would love to see more games in the WW1 era or maybe even a big campaign addon in this game.

Great strategy game about World War 1 for Android. This game is cheap and there are no IAPs in the game.

Amazing game, a strategy game that's not overwhelmingly detailed and therefore easy to pick up, but has a lot of strategic planning and management necessary to win :)

I think it was a well made game with great gameplay but it would be cool if you had the option to make you own map in sandbox.
