John NES - NES Emulator

Really need to be able to hit diagonal (right and down simultaneously) in games like Contra... Really? Why can't they update that and make a diagonal button?

Man this app has all you can need but...the controls is slightly unresponsive, the cross don't respond well, and the mid invisible A+B doesn't​' work every time. i think the collision has a bug. The search button from the top suppose to search a game from the list, not searching for the games in the whole phone folders.

Please add zone button detection and deviation movement from buttons. Touchscreen users who use this emulator are getting the most feature filled emulator, but are missing MUCH easier control, virtually present in all the other emulators.

pretty good, solid emulation, no timing issues. only thing stopping it from being five stars is that there is no granularity in the fast forward (2x speed, i'd like something in between 1-2x speed) and the reset button does not reset the system, it does a full power cycle. so something like final fantasy does not handle that the same way

The best running NES emulator on the market, hands down. All the others just don't come close. Do yourself a favor and buy the full package. It's totally worth it.

The best NES emulator there is. I use it with a Moga Pro Power and it works phenomenally.

I've used this for a couple years and it's worked beautifully, until I upgraded to Galaxy S8. Now it freezes every time within seconds of launching the game. I paid for this as well as the John snes. Any help would be greatly appreciated

With any emulator app i think a gamepad is necessary via bluetooth. This app is a 5 with your own gamepad. Dont bother with touchscreen. I have an nes 30 for my s7 edge that works great. Also purchased an 8 bitdo zero. Its small fits in your hand. If you do have a gamepad after you connect it go to gamepad options to setup gamepad configuration. This has to be done. I could not move left or right when i first tried so dont forget to "set it up"

I get kicked out to the phone's home screen as I'm playing. It happens over and when pressing buttons or control on the virtual pad. My phone model is Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Please help.

Favourite Emulator and best available, hands down. Would love for this app to be optimized for Samsung DeX. Gaming on a full screen again would bring back the good ole days!!

The controls are the most unresponsive yet. I hate this so much. Such a waste of my money. Cannot complete even one level of any game

The emulator suffers from input lag. No matter the controller or phone I've used, it's always the same. I like the interface of this emulator but the input delay is a death sentence.

Can't even handle 2 player with two bluetooth controllers paired to my android device without messing up!

Wish I could give this more than 5 stars. Works great with every NES game I have tried. Very simple to understand as well. Best 3 dollars I probably ever spent

Fantastic NES emulator but would love Zapper support and FDS support.

Perfect, cheap, just what I needed. The external controller support is really what I needed, as I use a USB wired game pad for emulation.

This is the only NES emulator on market WITHOUT SPRITES FLICKERING PROBLEM. That fact only makes this best one. BUT it can be PERFECT one, if you will add lightgun-touch support.

Almost everything is perfect! Only one thing irritates me. Requiring me to update, without an option to play with an "old" version. I might not always have an internet connection. Not fair, I've paid for this.

Wont see my game files no matter what i do. Very annoying considering your GBA emulator works perfect

Works good, great design configuration (except maybe id wish to move configuration menu icon also, to close to android hidden bar, that happens to overdraw conf icon). Most frustrating thing is double clicks. When clicking one time, sometimes game recieve two or more clicks, which ruins gameply, because of must load - double clicks skips dialogues or activates things player does not want to activate.
