Good app

Good tool when it works, but the sound often cuts out and I have to restart the app to get it back.

Highly recommended for learners of new alphabets. I have tried Write It! for Russian, Greek, and Hebrew and I find it very useful and fun. Hebrew does not teach letter names (no sound), but the other 2 do. It would be great if these apps included a way to review/practice all letters as they are learned, but letters are only taught in groups of about 5, and never reviewed. Also I'd like to practice lower and uppercase letters together (A a, B b, etc.) but the apps are great anyway.

Sometimes the audio takes a while to load when you start a lesson and sometimes it doesn't load at all, making it necessary to restart the app. And when I go to REVIEW it doesn't give you a clue if it's the lower or the upper-case they're looking for.

It's the only app that I've found for learning to write the Russian alphabet but it lacks ы, ь and ъ... As a suggestion: how about adding common russian words for writing practice?

Best app for learning letters. Tried 3 others, but they just review white you listen. Writing it helps especially since the Russian printed letters look different than their written versions. LOVE this thanks!

A very useful way to review the cursive writing, which is usually the most tricky part when dealing with Cyrillic.

Very nice and simple, however the sound stopped playing at lesson 3.

It really helps me to write the letters correctly but it also improves my penmanship.

I haven't found another app that works like it, so in that regard, I really like it, however, there are (so far) several errors. I think the developers need to be more thorough and specific. After all, if this is the initial tool that people use and it's incorrect, they've learned a language incorrectly.

It's a very clean looking app. I already have some experience with the alphabet as my girlfriend is Russian and I've spent time with her over in Russia. It seems I'm going to be spending an extended time with her and I should spend more time with the language. I've already 3 starred all the lessons. I'm curious if there is an extension of this app. I really like the interface of this app.

Great app! However, ы and ь are missing from what I noticed. Also, connecting letters is the hardest part of writing in Cyrillic. The app would be near perfect if there were some word practice in addition to individual letter practice.

It was for until level 3...I had the right letter and I knew it was right but it won't accept my writing to be a little bit offset. It wants me to be extremely accurate even when tracing it doesn't like my writing

Where has this been all my life. I get to work on my writing while haveing the correct pronounciation

The whole alphabet is not represented. There are a couple of letters that require an unreasonable degree of precision to be counted correctly.

The app is great for learning however the writing recognition is buggy and I have to restart the app everytime; hence, affected the overall experience.
