Rail Empire for Android
Good time killer. Some suggestions: Opponents will take incorrect paths at times. Better AI would be good at the hardest level. If you bankrupt everyone, you win but the pop-up is for one of the losing opponents. Maybe increase costs for RRs for human players to make tougher. Humans can easily wait on signals to turn green. Maybe don't show colors. More random that way. Really, just make game harder would be great.
I like this game very much however the scroll function needs some work on it it is very very slow and unresponsive at times trying to scroll across the screen. Patch it up and this is a great little railroad game.
Yay! Rail Barron!
Recent updates have resolved a lot of my issues with this game. Choosing game difficulty is great. Computer players still have an annoying habit of buying the railroad you are on, but not as much and it's not as expensive as before now that they have grandfather in. Next improvement please, no more in region trips. Then this game will be perfect!
After changing phones the game now works perfectly. Don't know if it was the phone or the OS that was causing the problem.
Great 'board-style' game. 29-railroads for up to 6-players to build Rail Empires. Number of possibilities = endless fun! In half-hour full games, or use pause to fit into smaller time frame. <<< If you have a tablet download this well designed game, it does not take up much space >>>
Very well done. Nice thinking game. Good tradeoffs on use of funds and cornering a market.
Interesting variant of Rail Baron. Too easy to accidentally mis-enter a leg of a route and, unlike RBP for PC, no way to retract/fix the error. As railroads are considered for acquisition it would be useful to see potential changes in access and monopoly percentages. Another improvement might be a toggle that would let you see owned roads by color without all the other distracting visuals on the screen (e.g. the block signals. This program has good promise with just a bit more polish. It's fun.
Great 'board-style' game. 29-railroads for up to 6-players to build Rail Empires. Number of possibilities = endless fun! Play solitary but change game speed to 'slow' : to best follow 'computer players' ; but wait further updates to visually track action. Another future upgrade would be sound, so 6-players could crowd around the action. <<< If you have a tablet download this well designed game and await improvements >>>
