IMPORTANT: I have been receiving a lot of crash reports recently and have finally isolated the problem. Unfortunately, there's no quick fix: the error is deeply embedded in my design. Because of Bacterium's popularity, I have already started coding a better version with new features and game modes - so I will not be fixing this older version. There is a workaround to this bug though: if Bacterium crashes, try freeing up VM by killing some of your other apps and then starting it again.
