Minesweeper Professional for Android
Good app, but not sure why this app created two copies of the app in my app drawer (perhaps it is a Nova launcher problem).
Game would be great for minesweeper, but has been cheated by many players so the fastest time records suck. Look them over, many beat the game supposedly in .01 seconds so you can't challenge for fastest times until they reset the board. My fastest on easy used to be 6 seconds by using a mouse, but even times like that are impossible on a touchscreen phone.
I used to play this a lot on my old computer using windows and this works very much like it. I've tried a few other apps but this is by far one of the best simple versions out there. For those that are lost with the gameplay- each number represents how many mines are touching that square (even on the corners). Unfortunately I've downgraded this app because the so-called "licence check" is a cover to send data to business centres. I've always thought it was odd for an app to keep checking on its origins, I'm uninstalling and find another version that doesn't deceive (info from Norton security).
This is the minesweeper game of there, by far. Although, I find it hard to believe that someone can win expert in a few seconds... My best time is 113-seconds... This is my most posted game of all time, I feel smarter than everyone else when I'm crushing it in the zone! ????????????
I like the app a lot, but I'm refusing to update until there's a valid explanation why a minesweeper game needs new permissions for accessing WiFi and phone call information. It seems like classic hijacking behavior, so if it's legitimate then an explanation in the update notes is a necessity. If this gets resolved, I'll increase my review score. Otherwise, it's time for me to find a new app.
I have used this app for many years, but a recent update caused my phone to keep coming out of vibrate or silent mode. I removed this app and everything was fine afterwards.
An update just asked for lots of rights, none should be needed. Hijacked app? Update: Still no explanation to rights req.
New permissions required on latest update unacceptable. Reply : No, I will not update, because the permissions it demands are unacceptable for a small phone game.
Still asking permission to view call Id. Why? (Will edit to a five if it gets explained or removed) Edit: still no explanation of why this app wants device Id an call information...
Addictive little game
Love it
It's minesweeper y'all
Works perfectly on Galaxy S3
A perfect redo of our old favorite.
Good old fashioned Minesweeper
There should be an extra button for the mines, it os easy to lose a game by forgetting to switch.
The game is good. But has anyone looked at the top scores? The top score is 0.01 seconds! No one can flag the mines in a hundredth of a second! In fact, all of the top scores are under one second. Really? 7/24: scores are still fraudulent. And my scores no longer show up in the High score list at any level. What's wrong with your game?
The button worked fine when i ran the app for the first time, but the next day it doesnt show the option menu anymore. It didnt even fix itself when I reinstalled it. So I am unable to use the new options they added in paid version.
I play this more than 50 times a day. I am completely addicted, so I decided to pay for the pro version. I would love to add a personal score board and the option to replay a game would be awesome too.
Wish I could see stats of games played, average time and win ratio, etc. If I'm missing something please let me know!!
Seems to be a lot of instances where your only option is to guess. Much more than some of the other apps. And for some reason my guessing skills are terrible. Guessing much more incorrectly than statistically I probably should.
Great game to pass the time although it's still annoying to see cheaters in the top ranks.
Responsive finger action, easy to use, and no advertising
Great game
Yaaasss
Minesweeper Professional is a wonderfully fun and challenging game! All within a great app that runs flawlessly. This app was 110% worth the purchase upgrading from the free version (Minesweeper Classic). I love this game and Minesweeper Pro definitely is the best minesweeper-game-app I've used! 5 Stars for sure.
I love this game and the simplicity of the interface. Unfortunately, the Settings menu will not come up on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" (SM-T810), so I can't adjust the zoom levels like I can on my Note 3 (SM-N900V).
Wish I could see stats of games played, average time and win ratio, etc. If I'm missing something please let me know!!
I love this game, its really addictive. This game would deserve 5 stars if not for the scoreboard. Is it soo hard to bind the scoreboard identity to the Google account??
Just like the classic but the only feature missing is the question mark flag option when trying to work out if a tile is potentially a bomb
Seems to be a lot of instances where your only option is to guess. Much more than some of the other apps. And for some reason my guessing skills are terrible. Guess much incorrectly than statically I should.
Love it
A well designed and absorbing game. There is more depth to this than one would expect. Teaches one a lot about probability and risk taking if one analyses carefully.
This is the classic game to have on any phone or tablet; it's well designed and executed.
Exactly like the one I played long time ago in my desktop. ..

Though there is no difference between the paid and free version of the app, this is the best minesweeper app and I do not mind supporting the developer by paying for this app.
Tried a few minesweeper games and this is clearly the best one. Even decided to pay for it.
Just like on the desktop

Did you really have to move the New Game button at the bottom of the screen?
