L’applicazione nasce come supporto al trattamento del disturbo fonologico, col fine di favorire la generalizzazione dei fonemi impostati con terapia logopedica tradizionale.

Al fine di consentire l’automatizzazione delle competenze fonoarticolatorie già acquisite, infatti, è bene guidare il bambino verso un controllo volontario della produzione del fonema target per periodi di tempo progressivamente più lunghi.

Si è pensato, dunque, di creare un materiale strutturato (storie) in cui il fonema target sia presente con un’occorrenza elevata in posizione iniziale e mediana di parola. All’interno di tali storie, i vocaboli target possono essere sostituite da immagini.

Oltre ad attività di tipo linguistico, è possibile utilizzare l'app per allenare le competenze di lettura, in bambini con/senza pregresso disturbo specifico di linguaggio che faticano a generalizzare i fonemi anche dopo l’ingresso nella scuola primaria, effettuando un intervenendo su rapidità e correttezza di lettura. In addition to linguistic tasks, you can use the app to train their reading skills in children with / without prior specific language impairment who are struggling to generalize phonemes even after the entry into primary school, performing an intervening on quickly and reading accuracy.
