Battle of the Bulge

Game is entertaining and nostalgic, with excellent gameplay for turn based wargame. Enjoyed the game repeatedly very much, without having to get too involved in detailed mechanics or number resolution. However, user interface needs major improvements, such as: 1. END TURN will just accidentally happen when I scroll to top right edge. Needs confirmation dialog. 2. Some bug in the paratroop drop. Sometimes that screen will not clear even with no more units. 3. Need better way to prevent accidentally touching wrong units or move to wrong tiles. Maybe with pinch zoom in, out. 4.Undo would be great, esp with fiddly touch interface. Overall a immensely enjoyable gameplay. 5 stars for fixing UI. Same comments for the other equally excellent games in the series.

It would be nice if it was expanded so you have more than one battle to fight. That would make it better.

Too glitchy! Crashes over and over.....interface not responsive most of the time.

Just great. On the easy it's easy, on medium it's hard and on hard... just kidding. I never played on hard ;)

Entertaining hour Bulge play as Germans.

A great little tbs wargame that kept me hooked. Yes, scroll is sensitive as your finger can go over a unit and move it by accident...but you learn this quickly and take care thereafter! Just be careful to touch in between units to move the map and don't keep your finger down! TBS strategists will love this! Simply add some difficulty levels now developer...and this was fun but pretty easy for the Germans. More through-history wargames of the same style please!

The best hex android game of ww2 ever silhouette graphics and sounds effects so simple so brilliant!! Auto exploitation movement /attack gives it a real blitz feel. Actually if all attacks were pre loaded then let ripp en mass even more blitzed! A deluxe version say the route March of a pz xxx with clips of Hitlers orders, snow fall, Glenn Miller,Wargner,burning buildings,massacres,and iron crosses, and film clip inserts ect would be mouth watering, well done invert for a brill free game played it straight through 3 times felt like a kid again!

Really like the game, but the pop ups really affect gameplay. I would gladly buy an ad free version. Downloaded and played game again, and didn't have much issue with pop ups.

Can't zoom out so no way to see strategic position. Massive menu button takes up too much space plus all the menu options are way too complicated.

It's really good, it was unresponsive on my Android LG but they fixed it.

This is a nicely done game with a good feel. Game play is similar to the old board games. Some work is needed on the interface. Moving pieces is difficult, and I frequently moved a piece by accident (needs an 'undo' feature), usually because I had trouble de-selecting a unit. Difficult to scroll when moving a piece. Hope developer works on engine, would pay for future version.

Going to uninstall after this quick review, there is so much wrong with this game that I can't find anything positive to say about it? It has promise but there are so many better strategy games out there(free) that this isn't worth the time to download and be disappointed with, sorry guys but it just doesn't cut the mustard.

Just like what my neighbor had in 1983, without his cat loosing the pieces along with hours of progress. I wish there were a way to confirm the moves before the turn ends. Playing on a droid x so it can get jumpy at times. Wish i were playing on a tablet. Can only blame myself for my technological shortcumings.

Good game, good graphics, good mechanics as far as I can see. BUT. Screen scroll and unit selectionlorders feels like its on a sticky hair trigger. Screen scroll can be jerky. So many times I tried to scroll only to select and move a unit by accident. Same for menu and bombing options. Id select menu then bomb and the game would bomb whatever was under the menu bomb icon without letting me select a target. If the screen touchyness were sorted out this would be a 4 star paid game. Then add a tutorial and larger map view for large screen tablets and it would be a 5 star game.

Fun turn based board game. Just like when I was a kid without all the dang pieces to lose and hit points to keep up with. Keep up the good work.
