Tilt Arena

I really liked this game! The simplicity of the arcade action is just good quick fun. Smooth tilt controls! I keep coming back to it. I've bought the paid version. This game actually partly inspired my own published game Polygon Gladiator.

whad da hell?i would rate it -20 too poor graphics and controls it is a useless game

I absolutely love this game. Even though it hasn't been updated in four years, it's still great. Marshmallow users: You may have to disable Fancy Explosions for the game to work properly.

Missiles are the worst weapon in this game btw.

Would be 5 stars but the motion controls are bad and it keeps going to the main menu >:~(

I freakin love it! Great colors, awesome visualization and neat controls. Needs a little tweaking on controls. Can't wait to get delver! Keep up the good work.

Hey, great game. If you split the screen with the touch control option you have the potential for an epic multiplayer mode, just sayin'.

Great retro graphics, nice easy to use control scheme and cool space invaders feel, i reccomend this game to any retro fan. *****

This is a quite robust and challenging version of a game i've been playing for years. Weapon powerups greatly compensate for not being able to shoot behind you, like you can with twin-sticks. It just needs a good chiptune song, sound effects and some fine-tuning with the tilt mechanism.

This game would be phenomenal if the weapon powerups were revised. Often you will pick up a weapon only for it to be much worse than the one you just lost. They seem to upgrade randomly, to the point where the player is much better off to get a good weapon and then ignore all other powerups. This isn't how these sorts of games are meant to be played!

This game is one of the most fun games I have. The controls, while a little tricky at first, give an entirely new gaming experience that requires different strategies than, say, Asteroids. The only problem I can see is the weapon power ups. You should have each type of weapon get stronger/faster the higher the multiplier gets. That would make unlocking rockets, which requires an outrageous high score of 1,000,000, a bit more practical. Otherwise, great game.

I tried to make this game work, I really did, but the contro, method failed completely. You would think that tilting your device would actually move your craft in that direction, but that is not the case. Even in touch control mode the game was utterly unplayable. I sense this game would have been good had I been able to play it, but alas, no.

But that's not a bad thing. There is a slight learning curve with learning weapon powerups and getting used to the tilt (which is better than the touch controls IMO), but once you get your feet on the ground it hooks you. Also the points to unlock powerups is also a great add to replay value. This one is a keeper.

Geo wars fan here, very pleased with this game. The tilt control works wonderfully, just gotta make sure the device is fairly level when starting to calibrate correctly...galaxy s2

Very addictive game, nice control and variety of weapons and enemies.. But one thing that's annoying is the fact that there's no resume functionality. One message(or any other type of interrupt) and the game is lost.

Great game. Love it. But it keeps on crashing and freezing the phone. I think this may be because with no touch input the screen locks and this could be causing the problem. If this issue gets resolved 5 stars. Galaxy S2

Horrid control. It's incredibly laggy and crashed my phone upon final death--not to mention there was no option to leave. Not worth wasting your time.

Good game but two issues detract from the play: First is being unable to explicitly set "play angle" to top-down (or others). The second problem is that the tilt amount does not affect acceleration, so the ship is less responsive than it could be.

I absolutely love this game. The only problem is it hasn't been updated in over four years, and that's the only thing preventing me from buying the full version. Any chance it'll get an update anytime soon?

Unplayable. When I tried to exit, it locked up my phone. It took several minutes for my phone to power down.

Certain weapons are crippling. It destroys the fun of the game. Should have just a few types with progressive speeds/strengths, instead of some that you just cringe when you pick up.

game is simple, fun and easy to load. One thing about this game is that it lacks Instant, one-time use powerups like maybe heat-seaking bullets. Other than that, great game.

So it looks and works good, doesn't matter if the games only last 1 minute. DYING IS NOT FUN! ....... uninstall.

The tilt was a little weird, but the touch control is very very nice. It would be nice if touch and tilt had separate score boards our if you could just tell them apart somehow.

This game was fun but hard. Now the game is 10 times harder with the update. No fun dying in 20 sec every time

I love it. But fix the controls. Add a joystick NOW. And stop enemy from spawning on you. Its ridiculous.

When i had my first touch screen phone, this was my second best gaming app that would never fail me when boredom shows!

I love the touch controls, the tilt is too hard for me on my tablet. would you add joysticks so you know where your turning the ship, I get kind of confused.

Its a good game I like it....but it does need some improvements. Foremost is the tilting. Its kind of, well actually really hard to understand and then to play with. That should be fixed, or maybe have an option to not tilt and use your hands....could use some other small fixes but they aren't as important as this one. EDIT: Okay maybe I'm just dumb, but turns out there is hand controlling option...its just in the options menu...but I'd make it like a joystick-style instead of dragging since that makes it hard to see ythe screen and its hard to use since the ship flies slowly...

Great job! It would be five stars if you had the Geo Wars contriols (dual control sticks).

I mainly checked this out to see the development skills of the developer since delivery has no lite version. I'm happily surprised this game is simple yet so fun. Great precision on the tilt controls.

Utter crap. Controls are awefull, both tilt and touch. Weapons get changed randomly when you pick up a score multiplier and only about 2 are good. Upgrades are a joke, 1 million points for rockets?!?!

gameplay is very good and addicting, however the controls r horrible. making it impossible to control properly and get high scores

Installed it n played from battery 85% to 10% directly,,,,,oops even my gprs n music was on....but anyways, its a hell lot addictive than any other game i've played on my Arc....only downside is that my phone tends to heat up quickly....

The tilt angle is pretty tough to catch up wid! everything else is clean..

i am so happy. my son enjoyed it a lot. it was very easy amd it kept him entertained for over half an hour. it deserves a five. do moar games :P unfortunately, i had to uninstall it =[ but yet its good =] just make it multiplayer so that my son can play it against his friends.:-)

I've unlocked the missiles but I haven't gotten them yet how do I get them?

2 stars for the gfx. Definitely not worth buying.
