80 Days for Android
inkle Ltd can thank Felicia Day for my purchase of this game. Beautiful design and flow to this stylistic game! Very cool concept, and it's easy to lose hours while playing it. Make sure you're ready to do some reading, as that's the basis of the adventure!
Thank you Felicia Day for tweeting about this. I've played two rounds in 8 hours, it's magnificently addicting. I'd love to see more from this studio.
An excellent game on its own merits, and also a great option for mobile devices. 80 Days is well worth the price.
Good game but too easy. Played it twice so far and finished it both times. Doesn't look like you can really lose if you watch your money and time.
One of the best gaming experiences I've ever had!
Truly a masterpiece.
Heavy on text but well written without feeling too linear. Time management skills and geographic understanding are essential to finishing early. The protagonist is gay which caught me off guard and apparently Monsieur Fodd must be a hemophiliac or something cuz he always needs to be pampered. My advice to the developers, Please DO journey to the center of the earth in the same style.
This is as close to everything i ever want in a book-game that it can get. The story is never really repeating itself and the events that follow from your choices are beautifully written. It's fun to buy various items from different cities, to sell for a profit, to save as souvenirs or to unlock different paths in the game. The story is really only built around the vallet, Passepartout, and his master becomes a smaller or bigger part depending on how much you want him to be involved. 4.99 out of 5!
This is one of my favourite games. As a game developer and also someone who wants to travel more it really struck a chord with me. The diy nature of your travels in this game really help you explore the universe created by the developers and writers. I have put so many hours into my adventures as Fogg and Passpartout and I hope I can continue to for a long time.
If you love to read and just get in to story this is your game!!! If u expect some sort of gameplay don't get it. This game is just a novel but u decide what will happened with ur characters!P.S. I've went through it 3 times by now, and I'll carry on
I was sceptical at first but wanted to give it a try and I was not disappointed. This game is awesome and really makes you feel that steampunk 19th century feel. Definitely recommended for people who love that era. Historical events described aren't really accurate because of the steampunk setting and some are entirely invented but it's still a game that manages to capture that era's feel.
Lots of possibilities. I won by going thru the north pole. Lost toes to frostbite. Then did it another way. All toes intact but got thrown in jail for having a russian leaflet that went down badly somewhere. A brilliant game i think ive only explored 1% of the possibilities so far. Great narrative too very imaginative fun fun fun
I've been kidnapped by nuns, I've successfully led a mutiny, I've survived a shipwreck and I've been caught in the middle of a revolution. Overall, all went well, since Monsieur Fogg finished his trip with six hours and 200 pounds to spare. It's a good game. However, I would have liked that the time would not go forward at an accelerated pace when observing the map or browsing the market.
I got this game on release on the iOS store and had a blast with it. Got it again now to introduce it to my wife and we just finished her first playthrough (made it at 74 days) and she loved it, and I enjoyed it all the same as I did when I played it (obsessively) upon its release. Fascinating writing style secures the theme and setting, and the market mechanic serves as an interesting avenue of focus. Our only issue was playing landscape - markets made it impossible to see your own suitcases and items.
80 days was a joy of a game to find. Absolutely loved playing this through to conclusion this afternoon. The game was a clever blend of Jules Verne and a smidgen of things here and there that reminded me of the old Carmen Sandiego games. If you enjoy some light reading, with some quick lateral thinking, you will enjoy this game :)
Stayed up all night playing this! ...which was not good for my health, but it sure was enjoyable! I've never been so enthralled by a game. It's a new adventure every time!
A great adventure that succeees in the work it's based on in many more ways than one, telling some of our own modern woes in a story that Jules Verne would & did tell. It's truly a game anyone, gamer or not, should play.
This game has gotten me through so many hard times. It is my absolute favorite game of all time (board games and pc games included).
I played this on my tablet, on my pc and now here on my phone. Most games I play while in transit and traveling with Parspartou and Fogg is always a delight. The game is fairly flexible, but perhaps not as action packed as some might prefer.
Amazing game. Worth every penny. I've played the game countless times and it's been different on every playthrough. Good game to play to relax. However If you don't like reading lots of text the game probably isn't for you
As a hardcore bibliophile & former bookseller for Barnes & Noble Booksellers, this app in BEYOND AMAZING! It is a technologically adcanced throwback to the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books I read as a small boy with a HUGE imagination, in the Late 1980s. Kudos to the creators & every single artisan who make this action-packed adventure possible. Totally worth every penny!
Jules Verne would have been amazed to see his world come to live like this. The gameplay reminded me slightly of FTL but with a strong narrative set in a steampunk world. The visuals are minimal but effective and stylish. What really stands out and makes the world come to life is the excellent writing. Looking forward to play more interactive fiction like this.
If the price isn't important to you then buy it. It's a highly effective idle distraction with oddles of whimsy. Only meagre replayability value.
I've always been a fan of the Jules Verne classic since I read the book as a boy. So was really excited to see this game. It is beautifully written with a lot of decision making involved to complete the journey. The point is no matter how many times you finish it, there is still another way to go around the world. Smooth graphical play with a nice soundtrack. You just have to get used to the reading of the story of the journey which may not be for some. Delightful game to pass hours away without notice.

Bought this game expecting something very different than what I got. I even tried to return the game, but it was passed 48 hours of purchase. Now stuck with the game I tried to get my $5 out of it. Having to do this caused me to have a new appreciation for the game. Enjoying the storyline, the beautiful art, and the decisions I am presented with. That said, there is consistent lag when choosing an option in the text every now and again. Love the game.
The breadth of the game and the experience it delivers in three hours is stunning. The writing is excellent, the rhythm perfect. In my first playthrough, I helped infiltrating a spy, paid fishermen to sneak in a military city and was jailed for that, climbed on top a zeppelin, had to run with slavers through Africa and barely made it back in time. Exhilarating.
This game gives me the experience of travelling around the world. There are endless possibility. But I don't like the fact that the main character is kinda homosexual. Well overall the game worth every penny it cost. Truly a well made game. Cheers to the developers!

Great idea and adventure, though I wish it would show more pictures or animations. Even having the text read out loud in different voices and accents would make it so much more entertaining.
I wish you could bookmark your favorite voyages, and also that your red line would never break, even when there are connection failures. The red line breaking it just... it kills immersion, and ruins a great run you're having.
Love this game. I have the PC version as well, but love having it on mobile too, for when I need to kill some time! I love that the story is different every time, and that new ports open up each time you play. I wish there was a route through the South Pole!
Android M changed the way external storage worked and this has broken the game. Refuses to download because it thinks there's no SD card. Until then I was enjoying it.
I would love to play this game. However, the game is broken on my phone. I have a galaxy S7 active so my phone should be up to date to run it. It isn't. I can't click on London's big red dot to start the game. I've emailed the developers in the hopes of getting it fixed, but they have not replied in a week. I simply can't recommend a game where the developers refuse to offer technical support for their products. DO NOT BUY. If only to tell the developers that this behavior will not be tolerated
Everything in this game is awesome. The writing is good (Being based on a book does help with that). The animations give just enough without looking tacky or bad. The only bad part I could think of is the lack of choice in some areas. An example of this is when SPOILERS you escape the North Pole and it doesn't matter which airship you use SPOILERS.
Brilliant! Absolutely absorbing story with seemingly endless options and characters. Very well written with great music and sound effects. My only complaint is the awkward globe navigation and inventory management.
Wonderful in every way. The way it looks, the animations, the text, the suspense, everything is well thought of. Small improvement would be to make managing luggage easier, but that's a very small con to may big pro's for this game. First smartphone game I actually liked!
Fails to start with the message "download failed because you may not have purchased this app". Except... I have purchased the app so pretty disappointing. Requesting refund now.

Victory isn't guaranteed so decisions matter, and even failure results in an incredible ride. I've replayed this 3 times and every path is vastly different. If I had one complaint it might be that it's too difficult to put together clothing sets, and it doesn't feel worth it when you do.
