The concept is simple enough, attempt to combine 2 of the same numbered tiles to create a higher numbered tile with the goal of reaching a tile that equals to 2048. Very addicting and if you're not careful a few hours go by next time you look up from your screen.

My wife and I really enjoy this game. It starts off easy enough, but over time it gets harder and harder. It has a nice learning curve which makes me always want to play. It's a great app to pass time.

The thing I hate the most about this game is the sounds. And there's no way that I can find to get rid of the game sounds short of just turning down the master volume.
