SPACE HULK for Android
Great game in so many ways but really needs an update for the screen resolution issues. Would also be nice to have some options for the gfx, other than that its worth every penny.
Really quite good not as nerve wracking as the original board game. But still got everything I remember, just fiddly controls
I love the board game Space Hulk and this is very true to it, arguably a little too true to it but that's fine, I really enjoy it. There are a few issues and bugs that makes me not give it 5 stars however. -Often at the beginning of a Terminator turn, it hasn't registered that it's a new turn and things like flames will still be visible, or enemies will not be targettable until an action is taken, this can be immediately undone but it's annoying. -Sometimes after finishing an action there is a lot of lag where I have to wait a few seconds before I can do anything else **Update: I believe this only happens when there are a lot of dead bodies on the ground**. -Targetting distant objects is very tricky as when you try to move the camera it often tries to centre on that terminator again, often taking 3 or 4 attempts to target something which is frustrating. -At times it seems a little sluggish but there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the graphics settings. This wouldn't bother me if when I started every time it didn't tell me it detected my Tegra processor so it's putting on maximum performance! Overall great game though. **Thanks for responding too!**
Hey Folks - needs an update to fix - lagging updates for Fire / bodies etc.... when is that coming?
Absolutely fantastic, runs well on both S7 and NVidia Shield tablet. Excellent pass and play for local multiplayer and best of all no IAP rubbish.
An excellent adaption of the boardgame, apart from a few issues: 1- As others reported sometimes flames don't disappear when they should. 2- Genestealers seem to ignore the rule about being forced to lurk if a marine is within 6 squares of an entry area. Sometimes this means a Genestealer can enter the board and attack a marine on the same turn. This makes some maps almost unplayable without extremely good luck. 3- Marines armed with a bolter and chainfist are unable to fire their bolter. 4- When firing a flamer the flames can be laid out somewhat erratically, sometimes leading you to accidentally flame your own men. 5- Genestealers enter burning squares killing themselves. In the original rules Genestealers could not do this. 6- Fire arcs sometimes glitch making it impossible for a marine to target some items or Genestealers, when they should be able to do so. Particularly on 45° fire arcs in rooms. 7- On some missions the Genestealers seem to be receiving far more blips per turn of reinforcements than they should do. 8- Blips do sometimes not turn into stealers even when the marine has 180° line of sight to them. 9- Lightning claw and thunder hammer equipped marines seem to fare badly in close combat in reality to what their chances should have been. 10- Targeting distant targets can be frustrating due to it often recentreing on the marine. Finally the game could be massively improved if you were able to pick your squad on a points based system as per the original Space Hulk expansions. Overall a very good game but the glitches above are annoying.
Doesn't open, after the intro ,the green loading line stops short, money back please.
Great game, and a great implementation.
It doesn't launch in Google Nexus 7 2013. Any help?
It is a great fun game that gets you to think and challenge's you I loved it.
Plays just like the PC version.
Will not even open. I would like a full refund please.
Excellent turn based game
SPACE HULK
Looks nice, controls terribly, and screen is covered with XBox controller buttons (even tips display controller mappings). Another half-assed WH40k port.
Game will not get past loading screen.
The screen is really stretched with menus off the viewable area. Would very much like to play it. Applied for a refund.
As good as the PC version and a faithful adaptation of the board game. I thought their might have been issues with touch control, but it works great.
Though where are the space wolves and other campaigns?
Pleasant surprise when I bought an Nvidia Shield K1. I really enjoy WH40K and have lamented the fact that my PC isn't up to running this, but now I can play it! Gameplay is simple and fun, but rapidly gets challenging... just need to work out how to unlock "chapters".
Great game for NVIDIA SHIELD, faithfully bringing the board game experience to Android.
Awesome game

Game works and plays good on my Nvidia Shield Tablet K1. However, several graphical issues. Missing textures, awful framerates, open doors appearing closed, etc. On launch it says "Tegra graphics detected, high quality enabled." I think having the option to do standard quality graphics for improved performance and battery would be a good idea for Tegra users.
