Aces of the Luftwaffe

Brilliant retro arcade shooter, lot of fun and its fairly balanced, except bosses, they're too OP! But you dont have play the boss levels so i always skip it. I hope the devs add more levels as the app hasen't recieved any updates in 8 months now. Maybe they're working on Luftwaffe 2!! If your're bored try Sky Force 2014 / Reloaded!

If the ads didn't obscure the gameplay, I would rate this a little higher. I'm using a Moga Pro Hero, with the holder, which puts it in landscape view. But, since the top quarter of the screen is obstructed with ads, you can't see the enemies coming from that direction, or your plane if you need to go that way to dodge enemies or projectiles. Stupid design decision. I am not going to pay for the ability to see the screen. This is one of the worst forms of IAP out there.

Why don't u get any medical support when u fight the bosses? Why don't get your fighting supper powers when u are fighting the bosses? U can only force to win the first 2 bosses from then on u are just a bt**h to them all day. This game sucks bcuz of that, some nazi made this game for us to loose always

I love the game but there is a major flaw. That pause button has killed me more then the bosses have and that's no lie. I hit that thing none stop when the bosses are pressing their attacks. When I snap out of it BAM!!! I'm dead. It's a dead Man's party in that's not fair. Please fix this for 5 stars. Don't put a pause button at the bottom of the screen where your fighter is fighting for his very life!!! Thank U!!

This game is fun and difficult. While commuting to work I enjoy something to pass the time by shooting down some plans but it got to the point where shooting the same thing for months gets boreding. Please give us more stuff.

Game is a simple mindless bullet hell. I enjoyed it at first but now it just crashes when opening, tried removing and reinstalling, reboots, nothing works just dumps to home and says aces has stopped. Would rate a 4 but where it won't run for me very disappointed.

From the Nokia devices to the smartphones. This game has been around for quite a while, and it has aged quite well. But would it be possible to bring back the original story? It is a good game but the mindless shooting of enemies makes it lack the feeling you have for the characters like back in old devices.

I installed it when it was published the first time, it was really addictive, hard at some point but very nice. I unlocked the advertising and bought x2 multiplier. Than I had to wipe my smartphone (of course I made backup) and surprise, no way to get back what I bought! Fuc.. B..rds! The game now it's even worse to play , you can't buy x2 and is not worthy 'cause you won't get too far without give them money, money money

Still no update? I'm lowering the stars... S5, Note 3, LG G3... the background seem off. Older version was ok and the background music fits the action i.e. victory or loss, but now, background music keeps playing...

A few things here first of all, skill update becomes unnecesarily expensive and bossess are extremely unbalanced, opt. Turkey Shot boss is complattely riddiclous and is by intention unnecesariky hard.

The enemy airplanes are just too big and once shot they slowly dissappear from the screen, making the screen too busy.

Would let me get all pilots, and then crash when I had any pilot with a "Level 4" attribute. This has happened twice, but never again.

You people killed this game!!!... I used to play the java version of this game many years ago ... it was much better than Android version... Regarding gameplay... and story.... everything was great... now its jst Ordinary bullshit.... the story was unique... where are those days? Those days are gone... GONE FOR EVER!!!!! Screw you Guys, m Going home!!!!

Who the heck put the pause button in the bottom screen! Besides the graphic also poor, the enemy bullets is faster than we are lolz...

Good game but the ads on the screen make it hard to see and mission objectives are uncleare and I thought this was aces of the Luftwaffe not aces of the royal British air force? But any way the game play is really fun though

Gets frustrating at a time,but a cool neat game brought back from the old times (Nokia times,lol).Would be cool to see some more allied planes like the P-61 or the F82 maybe from the USSR like the La-5 or the Yak-9

Aces was great when you guys paid attention to it. The last feature update we had was way back in early 2014 with Operation Turkey Shoot. The last character/plane we got was Tykers and that was back in summer of 2013. Seriously guys, get back on this game please. (I do know you guys do bug fixes still today)

One of my favorite top down shooters but I had to reinstall recently and my progress and purchases are gone. I guess it will be fun to play again but the ad is annoying and they need to add more levels!

I really enjoy this game. Nice arcade shooter in the second world war. Easy to pick up, can play a round while on the man throne and let it go when done. No pressuring to keep playing or stupid waiting times. The art style also reminds me of good old arcade games like Metal Slug. Nicely done HandyGames. More of that please. I think I am gonna pick up the Steam version too.

The ad above is hindering the gaming view.. and a nuisance.. distracting while playing. Uninstall. Sorry.

To much weapon and firepower.not much help.

Those absolutely annoying ads are covering game.. Could be awesome game but its not playable..consider about minimalizing and replacing and ill surely download and share this ... But now its a unplayble crap

I'm a big world war 2 fan and this game is right up my alley. I've beaten this game before and I've been waiting for you to add more levels and pilots. Two new chapters I think you should add. The first one would be called battle over Japan and the fighters are Japanese fighter planes from world war 2 and the boss should be a flying aircraft carrier . And the next chapter should be called The fight for Stalingrad and the new plane should be a il2 stermivick Russian fighter plane.

Ad nightmare. Jumps out of the game to ads on play store. How stupid this people must be to make it like this!

I downloaded this app to use with my Smartband after watching the gameplay video on YouTube and thinking it looked fun, although every time I try to use it, it auto crashes before doing anything. I have sent a few reports using the default report sending stuff from Google. Please can you try and fix this. EDIT 2016: I decided to reinstall this app to see if it finally works. It doesn't. The devs didn't even respond to the many bug reports I have sent them.

Previously this used to be an amazing top down arcade shooter. Now it takes ages to collect enough of the in game currency to buy new levels. It also seems that the difficulty was increased to force you to spend money to upgrade your plane. HandyGames seem more interested in selling you the paid version of the game (Which still includes IAPs by the way) instead of providing a rewarding experience.

Open more stages planes and weapons and pilots I love your game .

Needs simulated thumbstick so you don't block half the screen trying to control the plane.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DAMN AUTO ROTATION OF THE SCREEN! IT'S PISSING ME OFF FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!! An otherwise really great game. Tough to beat them faakers from stage 3 onwards though.

The screenshots make this game look retro in a cool way, in reality it just feels kinda old. Maybe it's better on phones, but on my tablet everything just looks sort of off. Mechanically the game's alright, nothing really to talk about one way or another. I played it for a bit but I didn't find it all that fun. I'd recommend Sky Force as a better arcade fighter plane game of the type.

The menu keys at the bottom of the phone keep hovering up when the plane is down at the bottom of the phone and at that time I lose control of the plane so I'm thinking on install maybe you guys can fix this

This game is really cool and also patriotic. It realize me the days of The "Aces of the Luftwaffe" in the Great Britain. But I still think that the developers should make an American version for this game. If they'll do so I will be very happy. But still it's nice. Good job!!!

The gameplay is reminiscent of side scrolling shooters I grew up with so it's enjoyable to me. However a large chunk of upper screen real estate is lost due to the invading ad bar at the top. Placing the ads in a different way would improve it greatly.

I loved playing it. It was great fun and exciting. I was amazed to see the game due to its graphics, sound, difficulty, and specially the design of the planes and all.

The game is very good but the little thing is that its too short and you have not released another version with more missions and more upgrades and also planes. Pls you guys should do somthing about it

who thought having the pause button there was a good idea. im fighting the dragon boss trying to avoid fireballs and then pause. because the dumb pause button is in the wrong spot. other than that a cool game.

make it bit harder so that one can try one level bit longer, 2days n all levels cleared :D n m uninstalling it.
