المسابقة تتكون من أسئلة ثقافة عامة تتدرج صعوبتها كلما إقترب اللاعب للوصول للسؤال الذهبي
البرنامج يحتوي على رسومات عالية الجودة و صوت حقيقي لمقدم البرنامج أيمن زيدان هذا سيجعلك كأنك مشارك في مسابقة وزنك ذهب التي كانت تبث على قناة أبو ظبي الفضائية، هناك تغييرات طفيفة بالنسبة للمسابقة الأصلية حيث يمكن إستعمال وسائل المساعدة الثلاثة عند الشك في الإجابة.
وسائل المساعدة هي :
ــ حدف إجابة خاطئة.
ــ تصويت الجمهور.
ــ مشاركة السؤال مع صديق أو عبر وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي، لكن يجب التوصل إلى إجابة بعد دقيقة واحدة بعد نشر السؤال.
