(9/6 - Have just emailed you, as requested.) It's been a long time since I really felt Runequest come alive - and this sent me right back to 1978 again.

i love this game, unique and amazing but it doesn't work on my newest phone. reinstalling etc didn't help, it crashes at startup. great game tho, works flawlessly on my previous HTC one m8. if you love story telling and myth, you NEED to get this game. just give it a (dragon) pass if you're on the p9 :(

Will edit this once an update fixes the frequent crashing. I really love this game. Well made original and a strikingly well made port plus new content. Awesome work! Looking forward to a more stable version. :)

Great game. Shame about the permissions. The game asks for access to your photos, media and files and also your personal contacts. Granted that this is a game I've actually paid for, I'm very disatisfied about not being able to play the game without giving the company my personal information.

Theres some bugs that ive run into that really make it hard to keep people happy. Whenever the thrall trader comes by and i buy the thralls, its asks if id like to set them.free, i say no, but the consequence acts as if i said yes. It tells me my ancestors were pleased/displeased with me setting them free. I run.into this also whenever it comes to a leader resigning and if i should outlaw them. I say no and it acts as if id said yes

From launching lawsuits against troublesome ghosts to watching your entire clan be destroyed when you push the duck people too far, this game surprises you over and over. Fantastic event-based gameplay. Not easy. Lots of replay value.

Playing on a Samsung Galaxy s5. There is no point to play on mobile phones due to resolution, ui, and scaling issues with texts and menu transfers in game. Also if you end up being a bit fast on the transfering of menu options then the game will crash. Herocraft I trusted you all to fix this issue but apparently all you care is about putting a halved effort port just like most companies nowadays. Might as well put an addon payment option for a mobile version because this current version is only for tablets.

Epic gane. Best mobile game I've played. However, sometimes the UI on a smaller screen can be a chore to deal with. If you have a tablet, play it on there.

Rule a kingdom at your leisure? No thanks, I'll keep trying to build a kingdom that I have no control of on some MMO only to have it crushed by some 12 year old with no concept of money..... Come on, use your noggin.

This is slightly simplified from the PC version (e.g. can't choose what crops to sow or goods to produce) but all the things that made this game great are there. And you can play it without those annoying compatibility hacks!

Best: in-depth mythology, universe, huge amount of work put into creating a very unique world. Great character variety and scripting. Worst: game startup issues and somewhat often game crashes.

I've been waiting literally years for this game to come to android. I bought it for apple in 2012 and i have been waiting patiently for an android port. My favorite mobile game of all time by far, i don't even mind paying for it again, well worth it.

This game is fantastic. I loved it on the PC and it's a perfect fit for mobile. If you're tired of typical mobile games give this a try. 10 dollars seems high for a mobile game, but for what you get it's easily worth it.

I've loved this game since i got it on cd back in the stone age (ok, 2000 or so but feels like it). Incredible artwork, fantastic story, can play for hours. My only issue is it crashes fairly regularly on my galaxy s7. Picks right back up after the crashes though so no real loss. Crashes are the only reason i didn't give it a full 5 of 5 rating.

This app, so accessible on the iPhone, is not accessible with Android talk back. This makes the game impossible to play if you are a blind user. The interface will need to be Rewritten for the game to work properly.

Needs more random events I'm tired of reading the same thing over and over add spies and a Emmisarry a about relationships with beastfolk,telmori and trolls they seem to get angry and also stop making me divide the clans I have about 5 divided clans that broke off from mine I hate it when that happens I mean if my clan is divided my time is just wasted cause eventually they form they own clan and make the life span longer I want to play my clan for thousands of years not just 100+ years

Great port of one of the most interesting most original PC games ever made and never replicated. I would encourage others to read the review posted on rock paper shotgun as I will not be able to match that on the app store

1.Getting cattle is seriously annoying only way is to steal them you need to make a specific way to increase your herd , also what the hell is the use of horses besides selling them? 2. Beast men & most other race events are seriously tough one wrong move and a member of the ring can die . its a fairly good game just need some improvements (especially the herd/cattle )

My children grew beards so I raided an enemy clan into moving away from me in revenge. Best game ever.

I was worried about the text being too small but that is not an issue. A lot of fun. The best mobile game I have played in a while.

Sadly I'll never play this as despite being a paid game it won't work without accessing my contacts. Intrusive and unnecessary. You say it's for analytics but most paid apps would not demand this. You'll never know the sales lost as a result of these permissions. Update after Dev comment. As others have stated you are asking us to just take you at your word. The app does require contacts permission so buyers beware. You talk of analytics and a 'feature' without any explanation. What's going on?

Purchased on Android to play whilst away from my PC. Unfortunately the left hand side of my screen has been cut off rendering the text unreadable. Running on a Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ @ 1920 x 1080 Many, many hours of pleasure on PC mean i cant give it a low score but its not working on my tablet, Hence the 3. I have submitted a ticket and will update this review in due course. Update- after a brief message to support (see below) a refund was raised without any fuss.

I bought KODP after playing it on PC so I'd have something to do on vacation. This is the first time an offline mobile game has failed to launch for me because it "failed to verify the purchase", calling itself "a pirated copy" which was a bit insulting. Additionally, the game frequently crashes on certain actions such as opening the clan main menu or starting a new year and choice events lack mood and resource floaters like in the desktop version.

It's been a year now since the game is unplayable on a phone because of a resolution issue. How long does it take to make an update?

It's text based but if that's your bag or cup of tea then I completely recommend this. Truly unique world with it's own traditions and mythos that you have to learn. Combat or peace are both viable options and replayability seems to be immense. Very much worth the money, buy this!

This game was a great for scratching that civ management/text adventure itch. Sadly it seems the latest update has caused the resolution to become so small I can no longer play it.

Please let us adjust font size. This is an amazing game. Very very unique and addictive rpg, strategy and text based game. The only thing is the text is too small to read. My eyes get tired after a while. I have a reasonably large phone, galaxy note 2. Will be great if we can have options to adjust size of text like some text based game. Do that and I will give 5 star. Will wait for future updates. Thanks

Starts you off with a helpful tutorial and becomes addictive as you strive to make your clan number one. Random events are both interesting and at times frustrating, and make up a large part of the playability. +Pros: Lots of events, beautiful art, great mechanics. -Cons: Game crashes on occasion, can restart the game during sacred time to change yearly predictions, and some events too harsh without merit. (20 hrs of play and random event destroyed clan with no save chance. This made me not wish to replay)

Like this game a lot. It's really nicely made, pulls you in so you really feel involved in the life of your clan. It makes you think and provides a much better quality entertainment time than an average game for mobile devices.

I really good improvement to this game would be an option for random set ups when you start a new game.

Just wish we could have different save slots, but still, that was only just a suggestion. Great game though! Definitely worth my money and time!
