Squire - Character Manager Pro

Great tool. Really useful for managing a character. Only issue I've found is when it comes to multi-classing. It seems to track character level, instead of class level, when offering class features. Not a huge issue, as you can simply choose not to take the features you haven't earned yet, but it'd be nice to have my Rogue 1/Warlock 3 not get offered ASI's, since he hasn't earned them yet.

I've loved using the app since over a year ago. I have a problem with containers though. Moving stuff into and out from containers could be a little more intuitive (like just swiping them in and out instead of using the menus for it, but still keep the menus as an option).

Great app, only one that hits the basics for a caster / melee hybrid like a cleric. Landscape mode would be great for tablet use. Dev needed a bit more communication on content changes for licence compliance. Otherwise, very happy with it so far.

All sorts of issues. Only gives Life as a domain option, Thief as a Rogue option, missing most feats and does not track cast spells during game play. Using Squire free despite paying for the upgrade.

An amazing app. I use it all the time. The only thing that would be useful would be a guide on how to create the files on the computer to import into the app and a landscape mode for larger phones and tablets. Other than that it is the best I've used. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic app, great for almost eveything, the only thing I am waiting on is the subclasses and backgrounds. Other than that, wicked!

Decent, but it seems to be missing some feats and subclasses that are included with the free version.

Excellent rp app, several players in my group use it, and I've been very impressed with it overall.

This is a great app. By far the best 5e character manager of the dozen or so I've tried.

This app is great for the character inventory aspect of things, it seems the carry weight and management system is only really found in this app. I also like it for homebrew ideas, as it is easily used to create new items/classes. Unfortunately I can't rate it 5 stars because it only has the feat "brawler" - when I try to apply one to my character - which makes it very annoying when I want my characters to have feats. Otherwise a great app though.

Ive used the free version for a while now, and really liked it. The Pro version is much appreciated. *update* I am noticing some issues however, most of the classes have only one choice of "path" associated with them, and there are many magic items that arent represented. Also, can we expect options from the books other than the PHB and DMG (eg. Sword coast guide, Elemental Evil Players Companion, and Volo's)?

I spent quite a while surfing the app store looking for a good app to store my 5e characters that didn't limit me to a measly 2. I stumbled across Squire and it is easily the best one out there, whether others restrict your numbers or not. Super customizable, super easy to use, super informative, fantastic and clean user interface. I was really happy to buy the app and support the developer.

Really really useful app. I wish this would have replaced the free app when I purchased it or if it had a mass import button. I find myself using the free version more even though I paid for this. I did not request a refund because this is a great app and I want to support its development and its developer.

So I noticed a bug from version unpaid to pro. The mounts aren't mountable but have a stable feature. Curious as to if this was intentional or not. *****Update***** So I emailed you about a second Bug I noticed as well. Thanks for quick reply!

Such an amazing app but one unresolved issue stops me from giving 5 stars. After importing all my characters from the free version, I have lost all backgrounds and feats from the app that were not on those characters. This means that whenever creating new characters i am missing half the info I need. Have emailed this bug in but no response yet. Once resolved would happily rate 5 star. Edit - Got an email from the Dev who helped me sort everything. Once again worthy of 5 stars.

I think it's a great help. But I think mine is a little bugged beacause I am missing many race, almost all backgrounds and some class features, please fix if these aren't sopposed to happen.

I really like the ease of this app bit the pro is missing info that the free one already has so that annoying, I have to put in manually. Plus it's really like it if I could upload character photos. Love that you can add custome everything's tho.

Best app I've found so far. Like @RichardMadrid I found that a few features were missing from pro that were available in the free ver. In my case only the "Acolyte" background was available for my Druid (Sage). I assume this is because of licensing conflicts. I still use the free ver. more often, but bought the pro to support Shane Herd. Hope you'll be allowed to include all WoTC 5e content one day. Thanks!

Needs monsters, similar to the complete reference app...but just squire style other than that this app is damn near all I use, made my players get it so they (and i) could keep track of their characters. Does require some hand jamming...aka cut and paste for stuff..but best app I've seen thus far.

More than happy to pay for the app. Love the free version, used it almost since it came out. Am sure will love this version too. Love being able to create magical items. If I create magic armor with AC bonus, does it automatically apply?

The app is fantastic. It's really easy to use and does almost everything you need and for those things you might need, the developer is responsive and helpful. You can tell that he cares about the product and the game. Looking forward to any and all updates.

Awesome App, looking forward to all upcoming Features! One Idea: Add Export to PDF Option, to make printable pdfs in the original Style so you can Play on Paper but save all Progress etc. In App after the Session. Would be a nice Option to have, not that its not fun to use the App only but modularity is key to awesome D&D Character Management!

Been using the free version for quite a lot of time. That's why I bought the Pro version. Still love it, but there's no more Human Variant race nor some of the subclasses and backgrounds any more. Hope they are returned on the next patch.

Hi, good app so far. Playing around, added a dwelf race in to the options available. Now not sure how I delete or change the dwelf race? Edit - just me being thick, found it.

Missing spells over all, spell domains for cleric, missing paths for barbarian, missing feats for barbarian

Really looking forward to future updates for monsters!

Great but lost ability to create some races and classes. Likely due to the licensing changes?

Worth every penny. This is a great 5th ed character keeper. A pdf export would be awesome

I have been testing out charcter sheet apps for a few days and this is by far my favorite.

I spent plenty of time on the non-paid for version so this was well worth the buy. As I know the legality with having all the class options and player handbook entries in the app readily available isn't going to happen, I had the thought of possibly making an easy way to edit the export/import files (to re-add it ourselves quickly) or having all of the old content available as an import file elsewhere for download? Regardless I am very highly looking forward to the DM tools and future updates! Cheers!

I have been waiting for this since I heared there was going to be a paid version, the app is awesome and can't wait for some of the features to come to the app. I know we can add them ourselves but if you are able to with all the leagle mumbo jumbo add the player character content from Elemental Evil and Volo's guide would be outstanding.

The non paid app is great and is at version I think 4.01.1 but this app does not have backgrounds or feat and is listed as version I think 1.01.8 or something like that. Will give better review when this issue is resolved.

To me this is the best D&D app available for Android, I much prefer its clean and clear layout and design. I would like to see the ability to import more things, such as spells to avoid having to type them out in the app.

Easily the best 5e app there is. Easily the best support I've ever seen on an app. Easily the best system for adding homebrew/the stuff NOT on the SRD site. I can only look forward to the next update!

Well for my players at least. I can keep up on their characters, send them special items, and add all my homebrew. I will still print sheets for anyone who just likes the feel of it, but most have come to realize how easy the app makes things.
