About Kurves FREE: Achtung die Curve
Kurves is a trembling and addictive multiplayer game (based on Achtung Die Kurve, 1993) to play with your friends and family, in which only 1 player can survive. Grab your chance to be one of the aliens and show your friends who’s the boss on the flat planet! Online multiplayer supported!
Once upon a time, a scientist discovered a very, very odd planet. The planet was odd, not only because it was flat, but also because it was inhabited by strange snakelike aliens. Since the planet was tiny, space was limited. And since space was limited, space was expensive. And since space was expensive, the aliens were killing each other in order to get some space. And since they were killing each other, … where am I going with this?
BATTLE FOR YOUR LIFE!
In Kurves, you get the chance to be one of them and you’ll have to fight to survive! Kurves is a trembling and blinking multiplayer interpretation of the classic Achtung die Kurve!, Achtung, Zatacka, Zakutry, TRON Lightrace, Snake, Curve fever or Cervi game originally made for DOS in 1993. Up to four players can join the battlegrounds and settle who will be the almighty ruler of the planet! Turn left and right, dodge your enemies and block other aliens paths to free yourself some space! Race to be the first on a spot that might give you the victory! Stay clear of the abyss, or suffer a painful death in the silent depths of outer space…

POWER-UPS
Ever imagined to possess superpowers? Grab the coins to improve your alien and let your opponents pray for mercy!
» Golden coin «
Gain extra points! You will receive a bonus depending on the amount of players that started the game.
» Invincible «
INVINCIBILITY! The mightiest of power-ups! You will be able to pass through other snakes without dying, allowing you to obtain the higher ground.
» Cloak «
Put on your invisibility-cloak, and activate stealth-mode! Your alien will be nearly invisible: a real trap for the other aliens.
» Cutoff «
Clear some space on the planet by cutting off the tails of the aliens! When crossing another player, the backside will vanish into space dust.
» Bomb «
Warning! This will eliminate your own alien! However, you will receive 1 point for being a hero and sacrificing yourself. And of course, extra points for every other player you drag with you in their death.
» Freeze «
The temperature drops dramatically and the aliens are frozen solid. However, your alien prepared itself for this dramatic climate change and races to close in the others!
» Random «
The random power-up will give you one of the 4 forces, or it might be a boobytrap! When the bomb goes off, it will eliminate you, but also the others around you. You will get points for these aliens!
SINGLEPLAYER
Try to get through the maze! Pick up the gold coin to end the level. When you touch the walls or the sides, you will die. Avoid them!

Having one of the best looking of the curve fever rip offs, you would expect it's gameplay to hold up... but it doesn't. It does have a cool single player level system but the mechanics themselves bring it down. The turning radius it's way to big, so it is difficult to dodge other players. Because of this, it is not fun and I have to rate it 2 stars

I have tank top that says wild curves:) this game is addicting good!always a let down to the next level because i never say never and complete it one hundred percent. Lazy is a fish that always gets caught up and so am I with out the spiritual wierdness that someone might think in this world. Yep forever wonders this man i am.96.5%

It's fun. The music is great. The gameplay suffers from a couple things that could probably be easily fixed. 1.) Often, you have to drive right under your thumbs, but of course you can't see through your thumbs. That's not good level design. 2.) The "get ready" prompt can cover the beginning of the line sometimes. That just shouldn't be. 3.) The turn radius is very wide, even when set to small. I understand that the game is challenging, and I like a challenge, but the radius still should be a bit tighter.

You make a game about curves... And the single player levels are made of goddamn squares. Also, intrusive advertising, ugly flair effects and the actual curve isn't a line but a bunch of coloured circles and the turn radius is stupid big. Wtf?
