My Little Pony Celebration

My daughter loves this game. She really does. And she loves scanning in her ponies for more fun. But I recently had to transfer the app to a new tablet that runs Android 5.1 and when she went to scan in a couple new ponies we had bought her, nothing. The camera portion is black and it keeps popping up saying it needs the camera and memory permissions but it has them. Is this a bug from a recent update or what? Help would be appreciated and then I will change my rating back to 5stars.

I had hoped this would be a 5⭐ review but unfortunately I cannot scan ponies or take pictures. Its all blacked out when it works at all and is not giving me a permission error message. It seems cute enough I think my daughter would have loved it. She was so excited but bummed and lost interest when it didnt work.

It's good for what it is. Animations are mostly fluid and there's more detail than I expected. The only solid complaints are a few visual hiccups, tutorials don't flow great, and the voice work is... lacking.

You can have the icon right on the heart on the pony and all it does is focus on it then unfocus - if adults can't get it to work with steady hands how are kids going to get it to work. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I have an extremely good camera on my S8+ yet this app makes it look like a flip phone camera with how pixelated it makes it. Due to pixelation, the code will not focus enough to be readable. I can clearly see the code in my camera app. The problem is with this app.

My daughter can't scan the ponies. It doesn't work well, and she has to rescan it constantly. Also the app sometimes says I need camera permission, but the app already has camera and storage permission

tried to get this to work for someone but the camera just won't turn on and its all yellow. cant use the thing if the camera part dont work

I think it is a bit annoying because whenever I try to take a picture of the mark on the pony hoof, it is always so blury and I never can get it done. Other then that, I love this game.

We can't figure out where to get ponies that scan...ours have hearts on them but they look different than the picture on the app and won't scab. My 4 year old daughter is upset

THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST THINGS THAT'S EVER HAPPENED TO ME! But I wish it would have the CMCs, Sunset Shimmer, Discord, and some of the other background ponies I love. But the scanner keeps focusing and unfocusing. I would REALLY love for you to fix that please. Also, I think Lily Blossom should be on the show. It would be great if you did. BTW, Twilight x Bluebud is a TERRIBLE thing to ship. And also, PLEASE don't make characters that aren't going to be on the show. I know that these comments are supposed to be about the app, but I have to make sure you can get my opinions so you can make better products and make more money. Thanks for understanding, Hasbro!

My 3 year old loves MLP and the app but she can't scan her ponies. The camera just comes up black, no heart, no camera. I'm not sure why

scanning ponies is next to impossible. my 4 year old was so excited to be able to scan her pony into the game....well there is no way on earth shell ever be able to do it before she graduates high school. im a full grown adult and it still takes me up to 5 minutes of fussing with it. one of the main issues is that the camera is soooooo dark. even right under a light it looks as though the room is completely dark. i have to get a bright flashlight and put it 2 inches away from the pony to be able to see it at all...and even then its still too dark. i have no idea what the people who made this app were thinking.

Scanning ponies... As if! This part of the app sucks. That was one of the only reasons I downloaded this for my 4 year-old. UNINSTALLING to free up all the data this waste of space is taking

If it's for FIVE YEARS or YOUNGER then you should make it so they understand it. Making everything a competition with points and timers is ridiculous. Ponies make the worst games when the show is so great. It's just bizarre.

Spike sounds gay and some of the voices are lasy like flurry heart. ???? Also when its royal ribbons party she was an orange horn and purple hairbut its blue! The people who made this were too lazy. ????

I like the app Hasbro but I can not scan the mlp toys so my tablet had a good camera but when I get on the game the camera is yellow!!! so can you fix this please preety please???

I love it, there are scanning problems with my Twilight, I was putting the heart in the place it needs to be. But after a few tries I did it. Other than that the game is really fun. Even my little sister enjoys it. I like that you can make parties that are not available.

This game is perfect except 2 things 1. The game doesn't let me scan my ponies it just goes to a white blank screen. 2. It doesn't let me take photos . Please change this!

Every time I attempted to open this app, a box came up that said "Unfortunately, My Little Pony Celebration has stopped." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but the same box still popped up every time I opened the app. So very aggravating, especially when my kid was looking forward to playing it!

The only pony I have can't be scanned because it doesn't have the heart thing.Also people probably don't want to wait for like 5 days just to play something that might take 2 minutes to do. And at pinky Pie's party, when Rainbow Dash won, she was pretty self centered "Of course I won,why wouldn't I?" Or something like that...... slot of kids have different role models. Other than that graphics and art and game plot are good!

This app will tell me that its large and that I need WiFi for it, but when I install it and open it, it crashes and won't let me in! I used to have this app on my phone and it worked just fine, I don't understand why it doesn't work now.

Wow this is amazing! I love my little pony I even watch twilight gets mad at flurry and twilight says sorry my fav. Caracter is twilight and rainbowdash

Hi I'm Maddy if you wanted to make this mode I would certainly like it. I always wanted a mode where we can throw our own parties and do everything that would you would do at a party and can we invite her arm guess just pick it out of any Pony you can get another scanning seems like a cool idea but I really can't do the scanning cuz all the ponies I have the code start fading and I can't use them anymore

Quick tip to those who have trouble scanning: get on the floor, then your camera and pony should be stable, then you just adjust the camera angle. :)

I love that you can throw party's for pony's. It also kinda tell s you the pony's acshol birthday. I love mlp great job with the game!????????

I think it's a good game because, I mean they are parting your throwing the party and the only bad thing is you can't pick your pony and you have to wait to go to the party :(

I have twily and dashie Next i will buy applejack then pinkie bcz that is my fav ponies!! BTW its a great SOOOOOO great!!! Everyone should download this i have 11 mlp toys 2 mlp games and 1 table i am a big fan!!!

Can't scan the pony at all. Extremely frustrating and if i can't do it with a steady hand my daughter has no chance.

My 4 year old was so tickled when I explained this app and how we could scan some of her ponies to play games. However, its a pain and so so frustrating to try and scan these ponies! I can seriously have the heart on the screen lined up with the mark on the ponies and still nothing!! Other than the scanning issue (which to me was one of the things that was suppose to be really fun and cool) the app is fun.

This is wierd. I am playing in rarity's celebration and there is nothing for me to do. It din't show me the icon in/on what to do. And in Fluttershy's celebration I am playing the game feed the bunnies and there is no bunnies hopping at all. But there are sounds that there some hops. And there are no vegetables there. They din't show up at all. And I have no ponies to scan at all. I need to ask my mom to buy me sone ponies to scan for this game. My friend has an Applejack one. But I cannot borrow it. :-(

I scan my ponies in, but why? What does it do? I can't find them in game unless I scan them again which is a pain.. and they don't show up as special characters either, like with extra bonuses if I have the pony. I could get computer ponies and have the same gameplay. No incentive to buy ponies other than the kick of scanning them in, which can be frustratingly difficult sometimes, and I end up skipping it anyway.

its great it can scan the ponies. the games fine its just because all i could do is have a tea party and play the mini games. the mini games are cool but can you add more mini games and sometimes i have to wait until friday to play twighlights tea party and that means im gana wait for a long time but i dont like waiting to long so can you let me play the mini games any time i want.

I been sitting here trying 5 diff pony dolls the pathetic scanner doesnt bloody work. And if it were to youd need to have a hand that doesnt move at all. Thanks for extra pain with my arthritis in my hands just trying to make my kid happy. Fml fix your sh%t

Me neither. I only for 1 month and so on its not a better game because it doesn't have so many pony and don't have many things to play and create it .I want this game to create our own dinner and the game also. It's so boring when we take a picture .The picture is not fable ok.

Quick tip to those who have trouble scanning: get on the floor, then your camera and pony should be stable, then you just adjust the camera angle. :)

My local tesco were near on giving these away from 5.25 to 1.31. I can understand why. Pony totally refused to scan on tablet. So had the hassle of deleting loads of apps of my LG phone and luckily it scanned the pony. Trouble is now when game is turned off. Pony has to be rescanned It was very trying of my patients so the phone will end up going flying as daughter has autism so patients is not very good at the best of times. So pony needs to be stored and focus issue need sorting then game will be good.
