It's not helpful getting a notification saying you've been resigned because you're time ran out it would be helpful if you got a notification 5 minutes before it ran out so you could make a move...

I can't praise this app enough. The competition is unrivaled. You can find players from all over the world ranging from novice to grandmaster 24/7. The app itself is easy & convenient, yet thorough and free of annoying ads. Well done developers! You obviously appreciate good chess

Cheating is rampant above 1600 with no controls in place

App is great. Rampant cheating at 1700 level makes it worthless. 9 of 10 novices you randomly connect to will know deep into every opening, all lines. They will be rated 1685 but attack like a grandmaster. My two current games both I'm stuck playing chess engine vs chess engine. The developer does nothing to address it.

Love the app - all the functionality you would want. Could you fix the rating graph though? When looking at a graph of all games, it seems to cut off a good chunk of them - I think it shows the first few games and then the hundred most recent ones - it does not include all, so it's hard to see how your rating has progressed.

Well worth the the money. World wide and cross platform compatability. Superb.

Fun app to play other people.

I thought I would get an upgraded version. But I guess not. Graphics seem lower than free version; Well at least the ads won't be redirecting me constantly. Otherwise I like the setup, I will just have to get used to it. How about adding 4 player chess?? Is that a possibility?

Solid app for correspondence chess. Ad-free version is a little expensive but worth it. Ads are intrusive and suck up data on mobile data plan.

The gameplay is great, the system works prey much perfectly for me every time.. But it looks like it's a windows nt game and the iPhone version is way more polished.. Surely this could be too?

This is where you want to be to play chess. Would have given it 5, but the drop down menus are not visible to select time options and after making a move, moving to next ready game should be automatic.

No extra crap. No drama, no social network, no administrative incompetence: just chess.

Very simple chess platform. Nice work developers. Thanks for the GUI improvements. I also expected that by now you guys would have added the "next game" button. It's very inconvenient to always go back one step just to select the next on going game. .doing that for like 10 games makes me just wanna go back to chess with friends

Great app, but what happened to the analyze option that lets you play ahead, it's gone in the latest update.

Before getting this app, I tried some of the others out there but they would take a while before the move showed up on the other person's device. This app is much better and makes it feasible to play sometime in the same room in real time.

My game keeps saying application not licenced then goes to the app store. I bought it already as I love it. But then click open and it trys to open but says the same thing. Tried uninstalling but still the same. Help!

This app has become my life. I love chess I always have, but this app takes that love to new heights!! I've been on it since 2012 and never thought to review until now. If your looking for competitive chess look no further.

Great app. Would like it more if it enabled you to set up and play from a custom position. Or just lose a piece to enable handicapping.

I paid for the app but I don't have all the features of the app. Where are the three dots to the right that allows me to resign on my tablet? I don't play chess on my phone.

This is the best chess app. Plenty of people to play from around the world and a realistic rating system. To me, this chess app is perfect and great. I don't do ratings normally but this app has allowed me to play chess for years on my phone. Highly recommend.

Like the title says, great platform. Love the analysis feature. Wish I could play with my friends on Apple devices.

I wish there was an option for 1 hour or even 10 minutes per move but other than that it's great. Great for finding people across the globe to play chess with; Google Translate comes in handy when there is a language barrier.
