Hellgate : London FPS

Game used to be great and a fun time killer. However now when I try to open it (after about 7 months of not playing), it just opens to the "Hellgate" title screen with the red spinning runes in the background. Doesn't tell me it's caching data or updating or anything. Just sits there. Left it open for about 20 minutes and came back, no change. Fix this and I'll give better review. Running on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with updated software.

I haven't been playing long, but so far I like it. It's a little too dark for my taste. I'm talking about the graphics not the theme.. So far everything is inside, at night, and underground. I'm hoping for some more light in the near future so I can enjoy the graphics. The gameplay is good. I like it and the game does run smoothly. I will update as I can if anything changes.

It's alright for a linear platform FPS, which I don't really care for but thought I'd give it a try. The few controls work good but my finger got tired from tapping to shoot. Occasionally lost sight of enemies due to aiming control. Not much you can do but follow the script and your best shot and keep trying to get better to the next level. I prefer a more sensible plot and open world movement.

Overall is ok. Targeting needs improvement. However after recent server maintenance I lost all my 532 gold medals. Not only that I cannot anything on the ranking system. As well as infinite dungeon, I cannot see ranking. Now the daily medal reward stopped working.

Report this app for spam bot reviews. There are soooooooooo many. The only reason it is rated high stars on average. It's a bad rail shooter that just uses the name Hellgate and barely shares any Hellgate lore. Spambots on here claiming to have read the books but they are bots, I have read the books and this is utter trash. Just scrap it now please and go back to making other freemium garbage for people to throw money at. Some people actually want a new Hellgate London.

wow this is worse than I thought it would be. horrible aiming mechanism, nothing like hellgate london back in 2008. very sad to see they ruin the hellgate in moblie platform. disappointed so much.

I log in and poof all my stuff is gone...I can't even play a mission.... Really?! All that time and nothing. All the cash all the wait for energy reloads...and I lose all progress. I want my stuff back or I give this game 2 thumbs down and a horrible review. I'm tired of being ripped off of time and money. FIX IT!!!

This is a really great fps game,and the fact that's it going through Hell is even better.The ONE ISSUE I have with this game is the character should be able to either A)carry at least ONE health pack,or B)have the characters health regenerate after a few seconds.But other than that this is a great game

Not an offline game unfortunately. Takes quite a while to upgrade as ingame currency is tight. Game is finishing soon apparently so waste of time buying stuff and the server for this won't be available then.

Terrible excuse of a Hellgate game. Sure, HG:L had it's shortcomings, but this is the worst continuation of an IP since Metal Gear Pachinko.

A typical advance gain a gun game. Nothing sets it apart, the online was a boss game don't expect it from the app. At least you can revel in th memory of Hellgate

Why even piggyback on the title when you're making a house of the dead clone? It's like offering Morrowind and giving us a text based adventure...

Great graphics, Fun to mow down demons with high power weapons!!!

The targeting system needs to be improved and when I make an in game purchase it should the let me improve my armour, skills and weapons. I should not have to have a whole bunch of star on top of that. I already put some money into this game so let me purchase better and stronger items as well as upgrade them without any extra crap to do. Could be better. Until then this game only gets a 2.

Can't believe how smooth the game runs!! Well done to the developers!! Lots of fun, and GREAT upgrade system!! Hope what I'm about to say doesn't come back to bite me in the ass, but I haven't spent a single thing (real world money).

I really wanted to like it but as one guy said thats a lot of terms and conditions for a phone game. Plus if you ever played the original on pc, this game doesnt do it justice at all.... in fact that game is old enough they probably could of done a port but some how instead ended up with this junk.

Being a huge fan of the original Hellgate London, I was so excited to see this title! - But it turned out to be absolutely disappointing. Like previous reviewers mentioned, wrong weapons, wrong skills, only Marksman class... This game is a total disgrace to the original game. Hellgate fans, dont waste time on this junk.

This is just barely reminiscent of hellgate London. It is more like a porely designed zombie shooter. It's controls are horrible, inconsistent, and the interface just makes it even worse. The only thing that it has in common with hellgate London is the story. The weapons are wrong, the skills are wrong, and there is only one "class". The only reason I can see for this game to be called hellgate London is to try to get money from nostalgia.

Nice concept. Aiming controls by swiping on the tabletscreen are absolutely horrible though. Seems like shooting actualy interrupts the movement of ur aim. Not well thought out for an fps. Also looking through the feedback i can see the devs responses. If all u r gonna do is copy paste he same two answers u might as well not respond at all.

Bah! 5 energy with some levels taking multiple energy to run!? No thanks. Not even going to wait for a refill to keep playing. Sad, because I enjoyed the pc game from 10 years ago(?). Hoping for some nostalga, got a brick wall.

I played it for 3 months. i had only 4 mission left to complete the game But 2 days ago when i Wanted the enter it didnt let me and when i did. I had to start from the beginning.its very frustrating.

The touch controls are shaky at best when you keep your finger down in one place the screen shakes I find it makes the game alot harder because there is no aim function would give it five stars if the touch controls were better

It's not too bad.. the only problem is, developers like this are crooks.!!! The prices they charge for the items you need are rediculus.!!!! i liked original hellgate, but this nothing like it... controls feels unresponsive and.. aah this game is not even worth of proper review!

Definitely almost nothing like Hellgate. More of a rail shooter with a Hellgate skin. Becomes painfully clear a few levels in that it's extremely difficult and the only way to win is to use real money. Shame. I was hoping for better. Another pay 2 win.

Amazing graphics. Smooth controls. Y'all did a great job. Wish I could adjust the effects volume instead of just turning them off though. Loved the PC game and so far I'm loving this one

It's just a crummy rail Shooter. There is just no way to make a rail Shooter very good, so no matter how much they put into making such a game, it's never going to be very good.

This just makes me sad. Lame, on rails shooter that should be called POV rather than FPS to differentiate it from the fps genre. Barely 3 minutes in and I'm confronted with the option to pay $80+ to unlock something I assume is hardly worth the time it would take to pay for, let alone "play up to". Now I realize this is not the original game that was trashed by red tape, but that doesn't make it any funner. This feels like the undead husk of the original. As for the "devs" I'm guessing they be ashamed.

Pay to proceed in this game. Loved the original hellgate London on pc but this lacks a lot. At 50Aud for one gun I think they've lost the plot.

Awsome Graphics, great shooting in the game, movement smooth, along with the game play. I really do like it. Laid off work so, this keeps me occupied, thank you
