I wonder if theres any voice acting of each character. Would be brilliant ever since other mid space game has only have minimum of it. And probably like danger cue or danger indicator or stealth indicator. Simple as materials. I think thats for now. I was born where nintendo and spica mario contra, hence your stuff catches me eye

R70%

Tried but lack of simple tutorial and direction had me guessing what to do. Also, buttons were a little small and text was tiny on my phone. Maybe tablet would handle better.

This game is great, but the ship I bought got blown up and I'm with the nomad again

I just get a blank screen on galaxy s4 mini. But i love SN2 on pc so 11/5 score, would stare at blank screen again.

Edit/rewrite: Had a lot of spare time lately...gave this (and others) another some hours each. I like it much better after managing (finally) to upgrade modules to max, though I only get ~30k, not 60k, from that route. Finished the prelude, bought the game (because I like, very much, the foundation), though I don't quite approve of how the IAP was done. Still lots of things I would like to see changed/tweaked. Difficulty curve is more the cliff edges of a series of mesas into which I periodically smash repeatedly, HQ mission to recon pirates (which made them shoot at me) didn't set them hostile to my Prophecy's turrets, icon edge placement is unintuitive. (Why were the pirates neutral anyway? I killed whatshisname.) Still trying to find any Yamada HQ missions I can do, no luck on pirates (turrets won't fire on them, and in a Prophecy, that's a no-go) and confed c-beam-happy battlegroups have equal weapons range and enough firepower to one-shot me every time. Sort of stuck til I figure it, or luck through enough missions before I run out of money. I've enjoyed it, it's just very frustrating/grindy at times. Plus...touchscreens are not good for this kind of game, but no help for it.

this game need iaps to buy credits and it gets really boring fast also pirates always destroy me when I try to do a mission I'm going to uninstall

Y70%

I found you are going to use the smallest text size known to man at least don't use a light blue background white text. Use a black background for white text for best contrast

Y70%
by Y####:

How the hell am I supposed to find something called Bernards Star if I have no Nav hints whatsoever?

Y70%
by Y####:

Not bad, not good either. Needs a lot of improvements to become an enjoyable game.

May give it a chance despite the fact that I fell asleep during the intro sentences. That's right, sentences. One at a time. Displayed on the screen one after another. Ever heard of scrolling text? Or a paragraph with the words tap to continue at the bottom? Heck, that way I could have skipped the boring part and moved on to the excessively wordy tutorial.

Star Nomad 2 on PC is great fun. I admit I've got my hands on Star Nomad 2 through unconventional way, but after having a great time I decided to buy it to support the developer. Since then, I discovered that the Dev had the original Star Nomad hosted on Google Play, so I went there and bought the elite version. Now I'm waiting for the android version of Star Nomad 2 so I can kill pirates while waiting for my bus.

M70%
by M####:

A great little space sim, none of this F2P nonsense and you don't have to pay to check out the game fully. Hope the dev brings Star Nomad 2 to Android! *edit* Thank you Mr Halfgeek for the reply, SN2 on Android would be amazing but no worries if you don't manage it. Enjoying it greatly on PC.

M70%

Still in the nomad cuz pirates are gankers lol but doing convoy missions to get $ and minning along the way to get mk 3 and 4 gear then the big buy for a big ship :) and don't worry bout the green lite I'll jump on there and vote. Edit. Looks like its already lit up and will be released on steam.

O70%

Requires IAP to unlock latter part of the game, which is perfectly legitimate, but Google Play write-up passes it off as being the full game at no cost, not a trial version, and that misleading approach is not legitimate.

D70%

I have a lot of respect for a developer that responds to all the reviews. I'll update after I play it.

Enjoyed the game, well worth the IAP. Wish there were more ship types available!

A very playable real-time 2d space trader with good game balance and a gentle learning curve. A unique look and soundtrack borrow from anime and Amiga games, but in slick hi-res. Lots of fun references to classic SF games and fiction. An edgy, cyberpunky setting with tons of atmosphere. A cool main story. No ads. In-app purchases, but totally optional. No begging for votes or purchases. No limited daily play. An android game we've all been waiting for.

Few missions in and I have to go to my first pirate sector, I go in and get ambushed by a group of 3-4 (veteran size)pirates. Rebuy my ship and die again from this same group. Was this intended? How about we start off with a scripted fight with just one or two pirates to get the feel of things. Your supposed to ease people into your game aka ramp up the difficulty slowly. I've played space rangers and escape velocity nova, this game has heart but needs some love still.

V70%
by V####:

But needs more polish. I'm not sure how else to hide the edges of systems, but its awkward when your ship just stops. There has to be a feedback when exiting/saving the game. Also, disabling the music doesn't take after exiting then resuming later.

C70%
by C####:

Finished the 1st few missions, now it says unlock elite mode to continue story missions, but I have no clue how to do that. Help please

M70%

Lots of depth and a well designed interface. Simple faction elements and lots of fun to be had.

C70%

Awesome. Closest game to space rangers so far.

All I get is that annoying unfortunately you application has stopped message that says nothing.

About the same class as many other Android games. Gof2 just outshines them all. Pity about GOF Alliances being so bad.
