Dan the Man: Action Platformer

This is pretty much all I ever wanted from a retro styled platforming game! The controls are nice and simple, most of the game is offline so you can enjoy it anywere, and there are different and interesting events each week to keep you from being bored. This game is a must have if you like, punching, kicking, shooting, platforming, upgrading and customising your outfits! You've done it again Halfbrick, good job!

Admin please help! I have completed the story mode three months ago nd uninstalled the game.. My progress including all achievements are connected to play games.. Now when I again reinstall the game to buy nd play frosty plains, I connected to play games but the progress isn't added to the game back! Disgusting! Though my progress is shown in play games why not in the game! Helppppp....

What the hell?! I don't want to wait 2 hours to play the next level! Seriously, love the game but don't do this. It's as stupid as games where you have to wait for "energy" bar to refill.

I paid for the starter pack weeks ago, contacted the developer and still haven't gotten a response! Either give me what I paid for or refund my money!????

The game itself is just fine, but the ads are no good. The game offers optional ads, but if you don't watch those then it will just force you to watch them anyway without giving you anything. On top of that, the ads displayed are not child appropriate. A giant foam hand giving the middle finger isn't something I would want my child to see while playing this.

Nice already!! Should delete the countdown timer every time you solve a level. I have to wait in a very long time just to wait for the next level to unlock. And pls add the online mode using wifi or bluetooth..

Great game! The graphics are retro, which I love, and the gameplay is fun. The story is sort of confusing, but I understand most of it. What's my problem with it then? How about the fact that you guys are so GREEDY. World One levels take a few hours to open for EACH of them, World Two levels take six hours, and World Three levels take TWELVE HOURS! Not only that, but every single time you get a save point, you have to watch an ad. You're all a bunch of disgusting, money hungry pigs. Disgusting.

It is a must to pay the $2 or $3 for premium. The game is unplayable with the ads. I've never seen ads so poorly placed. It really takes you out of the action. Otherwise, not bad!

This game is sooo good but there is one thing that I think could be changed. I think you should make it so you can just play the all through rather than waiting

Hello ive been playing this game since last year and i deleted it ages ago and when i downloadid it those timers thing appeard???? and its so annoying you can do pass 30m or 60 but it'll take a while to finish. Can you plz remove it and thank u for making this game i love it????????????????

Literally unlike any other game I've played, it sounds, looks, and feels like an original arcade game, and if you can't handle ads, getting premium is so worth it because you already KNOW you would be spilling out quarters upon quarters to play this at your local arcade. Try it out, and decide for yourself! I'm loving it!

I absolutely love this game the name is a bit unusual though but i still love the game in the game u get to choose your character Dan, Josie, or Barry, Barry has his own shot gun! But he cost money so if anyone likes to buy him u will have to ask ur parents but i didnt byy him i chose Josie because I'm a girl but yes I know u can get a custom characters but only if u pass a certain level and ur character has levels too and when u play the game levels u get coins and then u can upgrade ur character and they will go up a level u can also get daily praises and there sometimes is seasonal updates but i have to say......... halfbrick i love ur games! ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????☺☺☺☺

Great animations : 1 star . Great control : 2 star . Great fighting styles : 3 star . Great mechanic ideas , great background designs and good sound effects : 4 star . Costume character avaible , great world map design , upgrades and skills , good character designs and enemies design , unique bosses , many weapons avaible , unique story : 5 star . Well originally it's supposed to be 12 star but I can only rate it 5 star ???????? . But there is one problem with this game and that is waiting for the new level for hours or watch some advertisements but if your offline you can't play the new level and that's the problem ???????? but still this is a 12 star game well expected from a company like half brick studios

LOVE THIS GAME, very creative and well done, controls are a little annoying but besides that amazing, outstanding job guys, the storyline is fun and unique, the weird white and black pixel dudes were really cool and the character customization is a nice feature, I love this game.

This game is awesome, it has everything you want, action, retro graphics, great story line! The only thing is that there is so many ads, but the gameplay makes up for it. Love it!!

Purchased in app Fright Zone 3 days ago, it said purchased failed but the payment went through. Email the developer 2 days ago until now no reply

Great game, classic retro Mario style feel to it. Sprinting through levels smashing enemies in the face kept me coming back. 10/10 would recommend.

This game is just awesome! Totally worth the 2 dollars to get rid of ads, though since theyre pretty heavy on advertisements from mission 1.

The game was good, but it had way too much ads, controls didn't respond or would get stuck sometimes, and would ask often for permison to my files???? and download history tf ????

Dont bother. Developers are rubbish and don't reply. Don't spend any money as you can't get back purchased content such as premium if you change device and there support is non existent!!! Poor company!!!

Levels were difficult to the poin where it wad no fun to play. The wait time for the levels was unreasonable, and the ending is just not worth it

i like this game its very cool but i hope i can play new levels. I dont have money in purchasing the new level thats why i requesting to make it free. I realy like this game.

I think this is the best game created in fact I'm glad this was created because I'm addicted to this game. Everybody should give this game and if they don't they do not have a heart.

This Game Is Great! My Only Minor Problem Is The Ads But Other Than That This Game Is The Best! 5 Stars!

Perfect game, aside from the fact that advertisements cause the game to glitch oit ever third or second time causing you to lose all progress on the level. To frustrating, maybe I'll check it out again a later date but this isn't something I can put up with in an app especially when I have to restart my phone almost every time.

Fun game!!! Ads can be annoying at every save point. I recommend putting 1 ad in the stage

Fun graphics, smooth controls, great gameplay, customization, weekly events, survival challenges, this game has it all. If you have ever thought that the old Mario games would have been way cooler with martial arts, upgrades, special moves, throwing knives, guns, and RPG's, DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!

why do i need to wait 2 hours to play another game.....it will take ages for me to complete the game...i really like the older version though....its just like force us to buy the premium pack....other than that the graphic was cool the controller is great and i hope this thing could be change soon

I use to give 5 stars rating but all that i see is useless update and just costume. The game has lot of potential some items can be added like costumes for dan and josie that upgrades damage, level cap can be increased, air combos, more grapples, especially projectile moves and more characters such as wrestler type can be added as i said earlier please pay attention to fighting mechanics.

Great! At first. When you start playing you really start to immerge with the game with its awesome graphics and good control. But then you get farther. Every next level will need more than an hour, just to play it. Not only that every checkpoint forces you to watch a video. Basically everything you do requires you to watch a video. Of course, you can prevent this if you pay. Overall, if you are not willing to play a game that's "pay to win" don't bother with this game.

Great game for what it is. It's like combo based street fighting in a platforming and RPG format. It also has a great sense of humor. You could probably use a few more fighting moves to upgrade to but I'm not super far in the game so I don't know if there are more. One of the best games in the App Store so far

I great game, graphics are amazing game play is good its just when you finish a level and you want to play the next one you should wait at least 5 hours! !!!!it makes me go crazy I wish if you could make an update make the levels without time you could have gotta five star rating

Great platformer but the money required to upgrade skills seems to bee too much from going fro. 250 coins to 2500 directly and 500 coins to 5000 coins and the payout is very less per levels so upgrading player character is a grind. But game looks good till now even though there are ads in the game play it doesn't bother unless the statues are broken but sometimes during saving there are ads which is not good.

This game is amazing. It has good graphics, good music, entertaining cutscenes, etc. The ads are kind if annoying but they aren't that annoying. And you can get rid of the ads with money. However, there are some flaws. There's some lag and the fact that you have to wait 2 hours for a level to unlock is just stupid.

Its really fun! Just one thing! Can you make Barry Streakfries be affordable by coins? Instead of just real money? ( You can either buy Barry by earning coins or using real money) Just make Barry expensive if you can add it. Still great game and Merry Christmas!

This game is easily one of the best out there and deserves 5 stars. But the fact that it forces you to buy premium if you don't want to wait hours for the next level makes it auto failure for me thats what you get idiot companies

One of the best games I played! It has good graphics, a great main story, and all the other things are good too! The only thing I would get rid of is the ads when you finish the level. Other than that it's a great game! Keep up the good work!

It has a great potential. It combines old school RPG with a side of goofiness. However, I find it really frustrating to wait for 5 freaking hours to start a level. Even though my internet connection is good, the ads never load up so I have to wait for 5 bloody hours. I just don't see the point in that so I had to uninstall. Sorry.

Please make and add more levels for the free version, it is an addictive game, so it deserves more levels. Now 3 persons I know downloaded this game. Keep making levels so the game never get boring... Survival mode is amazing but sometimes you need changes. Thank you
