Adventure Escape: Murder Manor

This is the first time I have played a Haiku game and so far I am loving it. I have heard nothing but good about this developer. The graphics are really good. The games and puzzles are very delicately balanced. It keeps my attention as well as loosing time by being engrossed in the game. And that's what we are looking for correct something to keep our attention, exercise our brains, and pass the time! Great job guys looking forward to playing some of your other games that I have already installed. Anticipation!

I gave up on the Scottish castle one (the first in the series, I think), because my phone's gyro just wasn't working with the marble tilt mini-games. I skipped to this one, and yay, no marble games so far! This is fun, diverting, and just challenging enough to make you feel a bit clever as you progress. I look forward to playing all the games in the series.

The game is pretty well polished for one of this genre on the app store, so much so that I might consider playing a few more. That being said, there were a couple of puzzles in this that weren't hard but took way too long, as if they were designed purely to milk time out of the player.

I really loved space escape game so game this a go. The graphics are just ok. The puzzles aren't too hard to start with and I accumulated about 50 stars. I got stuck on the book puzzle though and used quite a lot. The hardest part for me was trying to throw the rock at the murderer! I tried all sorts of was and had to consult a walkthrough in the end. Would be happy to buy the game and get hints with it. An enjoyable game though.

This game is awesome, try to develop the game quiz and the option to investigate or questioning the guest. it will increase interest when one person tells a lie and got busted out for it. just like detective conan did. Whatever it is, great job. other game will do find the object but u let us solve it by our brain. tq sooo much

Only into the first few chapters, game is interesting: variety of activities to complete, a bit predictable regarding the plot. So far my only complaint is that the stars that one can locate and collect in each screen for additional help are difficult to "pick up". It could be a software thing. All in all it is meeting my expectations and keeping me interested. I would recommend this game.

I played another version of adventure escape and became addicted, trying to beat each version one by one. I am an escape addict I love those games, and this one tops the cake great going. One small problem I have is the game does have a couple small glitches, some of the hint stars are hard to retrieve within each level have to tap multiple times in order to get them. Other than that I love it!!

Awesome game. But I wish it let me see my finished puzzles a little longer or even go back read what they said again because I missed it. But all in a it was great. I still don't understand the book puzzle though, even though I solved it. Meh. I'm gonna download their other games though too, that's for sure.

Hmm it was great but what exactly have we to do in the last level? Keep pelting stones till the end of eternity? I'm so close to completing the game yet this last level is so weird. There is no skip or hint option either. I have been throwing stones at him for 15 minutes and there is no indication whether I have to continue or do something else..someone please help. I don't want to uninstall the game without completing it

I have just finished the 1st chapter & it was OK except for 1 thing. When it is time to solve the clue's there are no hints or tell tale signs that actually point out the way you are suppose to turn the depicted picture into the answer. eg. (square + triangle + minus) who would know that it is suppose to be (4 + 3+ 1) when there is no hint to tell you what to do with picture.

So there was a few times my daughter and I had to break out a pen and paper in order to problem solve but that was where half the fun was. Download this game and I can promise you will not be disappointed. We couldn't get enough of it. Oh! You should know that if you find that no matter how much you TRY figuring out how to solve a level, just open YouTube -search murder mansion for a nice and easy step by step onl those difficult puzzles. I don't recommend it unless you absolutely need to

This game is very fun and engaging, however I found the hints pointless rather than helpful. Basic instructions on the puzzles would have helped too. Overall though I very much enjoyed the difficulty and the story. Very well done for a free game

Very early in the game but up to Haiku's usual high standards. Although 1. I didn't get my rewards for rating 2. The game has a couple of glitches resetting to start of chapters - very frustrating

The game has great graphics & sound. The music and sound effects compliment rather than detract from the game play. The puzzles are fair and the clues plentiful. You don't need a college degree to solve them. Although there are in-app purchases, you can finish the game without spending a dime.

The game plays well. My only small gripe is there are little things one normally finds in games like this that are missing here... such as a "start over" button for some of the lengthier puzzles. All in all a good time waster with a catchy story and soundtrack.

Who says free games are not fun?! So far the best free game I have ever played. Mind boggling challenges and the graphic is awesome. If I can, I would give more than 5 stars! Kudos to the developers!

Like the others in the series, this is a good game. It would be a lot better and less annoying if you could transfer paid for stars between games as ive lost 30 due to completing the games! Would be 5* if this was the case as it's a waste of money!! Also i can't seem to receive my 5* for leaving a review, most annoying and seems like a ploy to make me purchase stars which you need to unveil hints!!!!

WOW! Absolutely one of the best and most challenging games I've ever played! At times, I almost tore my hair out, so I watched a video. However, I did complete it

Basic hidden object game, though I do hope it gets more difficult as it progresses. I'm giving it a 4 until I get further into the story. I will update as I go along. (Nov 2/16)**UPDATE 1**: I am now starting chapter 5. All is enjoyable and still worth a 4. It's a little slow and a lot easy. But still having fun. (Nov 4/16) **UPDATE 2** I'm a little frustrated. I bought two 10 packs of stars (hints)but still haven't received any. I sent an email to the developers yesterday, but no response as yet.

I'm really enjoying this game so far. I love the easy they have the clues set up and the way you need to find keys to get from room to room. The biggist problem with is àsking to buy stars for clues very hard to get past certain things, that's why I uninstalled it I became bored trying to find the same thing.

But it's a heavy money grab. $2 for 10 stars (which are used for hints) and it costs a lot of stars for each hint. And often, the first hint is worthless. So, is designed to make you spend money to win or just struggle through the not-that-hard puzzles. Short, and not very sweet. It's a decent effort but I'm just glad I didn't pay for it.

Good so far. The action is a little slow, but I'm not very far into it yet. **Update: really like it. The puzzles and story line are much more interesting than your average 'escape' game.

Very interesting , puzzles are good, and best is no ads. However after reaching and solving the last puzzle, it just stays there and doesn't tell what to do or if the puzzle is not solved. Many times I end up using hint just to know that I was doing the right thing and end up skipping that puzzle.

After playing amazing puzzlers like Room1-3 and Forever Lost 1-3, I was looking for something decent. I struck out with some awful stuff. I hit the jackpot and found Rusty Lake and then everything else I played was a bomb, it was depressing. I checked ApUnwrapper and stumbled upon this. I really thought it was going to be a little too Escape to Witch Mountain, for me. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it. It isn't mind blowing but it is incredibly solid and it is Free! So well worth a go.

Simply superb!!! It's an awesome game. Very brainstorming. But, I suggest you developers that, the mini games and puzzles regarding numbers are not that much easy as they follow very weird logic. So make them somewhat simpler. This not a big issue. You can fix them. Keep on rocking guys! Loved it.

The game play is really smooth, graphics are awesome. I love the idea of a murder mystery game and I like playing an "escape" game with a storyline. I hope that you guys consider a more supernatural theme next! Haunted house? Ghost hunters? Sometimes the achievements cover up other stuff I'm trying to read, but that isn't that big of a deal. My biggest problem though, is that it's too short!

A great game! This game is not ground breaking in its design, but is excellent in its execution. IT WORKS! So many of these type of click the object games don't work properly that it is a refreshing change to find one that works properly. The puzzles are challenging, but not too difficult. Some of he hardest part is just trying to figure out what the puzzle is. Once you figure that out, solving them is fun and entertaining. My only complaint would be that it is not long enough. But it's good for an hour or two of entertainment. Top it off with a decent storyline that gives you a reason to solve the good variety of puzzles and the game is a winner.

Took some time to get through the end of CH 4, but once I did it was enough to give good marks on difficulty and engaging game play. Hints cost too many stars and are too vague unless you give 'em all up but still a cool game. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys hidden object adventures with a story line.

Diverse puzzle types & some of them are actually quire challenging! Plus, a little bit of arcade play :) Great game. However the narrative is linear with no decisions to make, so it's not really an adventure... Also unclear why location permission is needed?

This game is really fun and the games by them are addicting. Ive noticed this one is not very touch sensitive and sometimes the puzzles don't have any instruction. I had to look up one of the answers online because I only saw 3 animal heads when there were apparently 4. But still really fun.

I'm addicted to Adventure Escape games! Just completed this one and have downloaded the rest. Challenging puzzles that are just hard enough to intrigue. Got me scratching my brain for a few. :) Thanks so much for developing these games and making them free - you have one loyal fan right here! Keep up the fantastic work!

Its okay. Voices for the characters would make it way better. The whole thing is basically quiet besides eventually annoying background music. More to explore would be nice. Pretty simple world with tasks and answers right in front of your face. Also a cooler way to earn stars than just picking them up off the floor would be good. Otherwise its enjoyable enough.

Really excellent game! Puzzles are sufficiently difficult to keep my attention, but not so much so that I want to give up. The only problem is that there are a number of places that it is really difficult to select the items. I had to select on and around the item in order to get it to activate. At some points, I had to consult a walk-through in order to find the exact spot to select.

I love escape, hidden object, puzzle type games and this is a good one. Not only does it have a good story line, but the puzzles make you think and it is really hands on, not just looking for stuff. I loved it! I highly recommend this one if you like these kinds of games.

I stumbled upon the best series of games on the play store. I can't seem to put my phone. I have to stay near the charger. Please make more games, I only have one more to play before I'm finished. I love that I don't have to pay to see the endings. I swear nobody paid me to write this. I rate them as I see fit and rarely get this excited about these games.

I've dwnlded all the games in this series and i love them. The puzzles are a little more tricky in this one but still lots of fun and good story lines. Good thing my 15yo son is an excellent musician to help me get past one puzzle! Lol! ;) But now I've got him and my hubby interested too.

Okay so i love the game so far. When I get to the family tree and try to solve the word thing, the end of the puzzle is cut off by one letter and for some reason the other letters are not matching up to the correct spots so my puzzle is messy and impossible to solve. According to the hint CPF is THE. I typed it in and it put "T T"Right beside eachother in one word so. Help.

I love these types of games but couldn't find any I really got attached to until I found this one! (And the whole series that this developer makes) the only thing I don't like is that you have to pay a lot of "stars" to reveal a hint or skip a puzzle so that did cause me to rate it 4 stars instead of 5. But other than that, love it!

Up to the standard of others in the Haiku series, some of the puzzles actually a bit more challenging/baffling. Fun, absorbing, with nice graphics and some lovely effects, particularly the falling rain. Definitely try it if you like escape/doors/rooms style puzzles.
