Adventure Escape: Cult Mystery

Not too easy but not too hard either. Had a lot of fun, till the last scene. None of my actions made any difference, nothing was be registered so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Played through all the puzzles again. Same result. Sent a message to the developer, got a reply instantly and after the new update the game works and I was able to finish it! Great!

I'm a fan of this kind of games and have been disappointed lots of times by mobiles games with the same genre and similar storylines. This Adventure Escape series is different, though. I had a lot of fun playing Midnight Carnival. I've just completed two scenes in this one, and it has been intriguing so far. I've got a good feeling that this one will also give me so much fun. So yeah, I think I'm going to try all games in the series.

I love games that make you think! I don't think my time is wasted playing this cause I also learn practical things & gets my mind wired up! The only problem is I have to go back to the beginning of the level if I accidentally exit the app or when I leave for too long. Hope there's a "Save" part in the middle of the level.

Puzzles were very challenging...good game. Only negative thing is that you have to play each section all the way through because stopping halfway will make you replay the entire board. Game doesn't save on incomplete sections!

I love these games. So much. I'm enthralled by the storylines and the gameplay is addicting and fun. Puzzles are on the right side of challenging and hint system is great. Some of the storylines are kind of dark/depressing but, hey, these are murder mysteries. It would be fun if Kate finally hooked up though.

So far so good. Will be back later on :) I finished it, not too short, nice puzzles. The only thing I didn't like was hints - often spending coins on something I've already done! However, it's free game so - thank you and well done :)

Fun game! Changed my review after completing the game. Difficult in parts, but not impossible. That's the fun in playing it. And someone incorrectly commented that you go back to the beginning of the game if you exit it in between. If you leave the game in between you only lose the progress in that level. The previous levels progress is saved.

Overall the game was great and I loved the puzzles, but for some strange reason I keep losing my progress. Complete a section, go on to the next. Decide to exit out and it kicks me back to the beginning of the section I already completed before. Today it kicked me back yet another section....what gives?

I really like all of these games but at the end it keeps letting Seth attack me even though im in the target. I even looked up how to defeat him in case I was doing it wrong. I was soing it correctly every time.

Fun but quick. I missed the first conversation as the text overran each other in the boxes and I'm sure the keys had multiple solutions! If you've done several of these before it will only take an hour.

Asked for a review pretty early in. Just got thru the gate on the 4th frame. Definitely different from other games I've played. It's piqued my curiosity, so I'm continuing on. The thing I don't like so far is, game is female characters and I'm a man. Should be able to pick your gender. Just a thought.

Love this game. ..except I'm at the very end...the fight with Seth, and I cannot beat it. Even when I do everything right, it's not letting me progress! I'm extremely frustrated I've gotten this far only for the game to not work now????

Some ofthe puzzles out of the gate are really difficult without any explanation & honestly didnt seem to make much sense so i skipped them. Also, trying to control the mech 2 open the gate cost 15 stars bc i cldnt control the knob very well. It was frustrating & almost quit game. But ill see if it gets better. I like graphics & creativity.

The game is quite challenging but very few levels. Love the easy of use of the controls. Point and click very easy. Over all I think it's a great short game. Makes you think out loud about every thing from numbers to geography. I love a good logic and tactical game.

This game is challenging and leaves me wanting to come back, because I have to put it down sometimes. I've used more star hints than I care to admit lol.

Great game, viable puzzles! For everyone complaining about the mannequin hint's the head tilt, it's unfair to blame the developers because you're not getting it.

I don't usually go for this kind of game. In fact, it wasn't what I expected. I thought it was a RPG (to an extent). BUT, in saying that, I gave it a go for 10 mins... & I LOVED IT ! So I have a new topic to occupy my brain when not busy. Happy with this game.

I love the Haiku games I've completed most of them. The only drawback is the hints... You use a hint and it tells you the obvious, instead of helping, waste of hint.

I normally would rate your game 5 stars, but on this one I have literally repositioned the second mannequin about fifty different times, millimetre by millimetre with the only "V-shaped" arm there is (even though the hand isn't the same as the sketch) and it will not complete! Therefore I cannot move any further and will be deleting if not fixed. Thank you

Everything was great... Until the very end. Even though I was hitting the mark on the last level, she wasn't swinging the antler so there's no way for me to finish the game. Bummer.

I love mystery games! I'm playing this one on my Son's Kindle because I can see so much better on it. I am homebound and these games keep me occupied for HOURS of fun and a bit of frustration too!

Loved it! Just the right amount of challenge for a short, casual game - not easy, but not impossible. Controls are sometimes a little bit sensitive. I like the addition of finding stars that count towards hints. Overall, I really enjoyed playing. I'm definitely planning on playing all stories!

The "taking down Seth" sucks, there was no way I could even make a single attack. It really pissed me off that I'd been playing this game all the way to the end but I couldn't pass the final level.

I've deleted because I don't like the fact that if you leave the game you have to start all over again at the beginning. ..thats rediculous.

So far, so good. Only complaint is you can really get stuck without hints so the pay-to-win wall is virtually immediate.

Had a lot of fun until the end. The last scene is annoying. The target never lines up correctly so I have no opportunity to actually do anything. Bummer. Otherwise, a fun game.

Please make more games. I already done all haiku games please make more as soon as possible. Tq. Haiku is the BEST!!! I LOVR ALL YOUR GAMES!!!????????????even the one i failed to pass. But i never give up trying

Decent. Free, with very few unobtrusive ads. Puzzles are okay. Story is a bit corny but I wasn't mortified by its dialogue. Some of the puzzles were too easy and one was so ridiculously annoying I wanted to scream. Overall it's worth playing.

It was good but not as good as their usual. Also leaving the game does not start you over. It will look like you are restarting the whole game from level one BUT click quit the level it will bring you to the map and you click whichever level you're on.

The controls are atrocious, so it gets annoying pretty quickly to play when no matter how many times you touch the tiny ball it won't move. Also when you collect stuff it takes forever till it's added into inventory. Other similar games run much smoother and you can pretty quickly click through them.

I'm stuck on the manquin puzzle it's annoying because I've tried to be spot on because that seems the case. I see I'm not the only person with this problem

Seemed shorter than the others, still a good game though. Mannequin tilt the head to the right, kill Seth by lining the moving circle in the centre circle then click it, when on Seths face centre it and click. That's how I defeated him.

Some game controls are picky and take a couple of tries to figure out, but love the flow of the game and the puzzles. I've used hints, but don't mind. All solutions make plenty of sense and doable.

Quite challenging to understand exactly what the puzzle objectives are. Confusing and frustrating at times but quite fun and addictive. Took a few hours but very satisfying to complete the mystery. Looking forward to trying the other challenges. Upgraded to 5 stars

Got to the end with the fight scene and when I do it correctly it does not do nothing. Wasted my money of this game for no reason. Kinda want my refund back for this rigged game.

I love this type of game and the Haiku crew make the best of them. The puzzles can be anywhere from easy to hard but at least there are clues to look for as opposed to the mindless games that are mostly word/picture searching.

The game won't progress past the secret security room and AGI room level. I completed that level, but once the game returns to the map and I "X" the pop-up ad, the swirling light around the next level on the map freezes up and the screen goes to black. I have waited, I have rebooted my tablet, and I have selected the ad instead of the "X," but nothing will get me into the next level. Too bad, because this was turning out to be one of Haiku's better games. Also, this game is missing the number of hint stars, so I don't know how many I collected and have available to use. All of your other games have that number above the word "Hint."

Cool game. It's not too easy, not to hard, so you get the really thi n k but it's not impossible.

I'm just getting started, but I really like the game. I love all the games I have played that were developed by Haiku. It's hard to put them down.

Great gameplay and puzzles. The controls are a bit weird at times, but the sheer variety and intelligence behind the puzzles and other gameplay elements makes up for it. Overall one of the more challenging, and definitely the most engaging game of this type I have played.
