Colonizer for Android
I liked the concept but I couldn't compete with the artificial intelligences capability to out plot spaceships destinations more accurately than me. Every time I try they can just out develop the planets more accurately than me I can only focus on one spot at a time while the computer can launch multiple spaceships to multiple destinations simultaneously. This is a huge disadvantage like all AI competitors on video games I just can't be everywhere at once. ????
I believe it has amazing potential. 2 things I would suggest. 1. Slow the AI down when you have multiple ships unlocked, because they can command them much quicker than a human can. 2. An online multiplayer would make this game amazing. The turn based game is a little slow . Maybe just a create lobby button or join Libby, so you can play with friends in real time.
Fun to play, like checkers in real time on steroids. Interface needs a little tweaking to make the real time battle system work better. I found changing ships to be too slow. A simple toggle selection like used in classics like Lemmings or Worms would work better. They offered me 200 stars to give a 5 star ratting.
I downloaded this on a whim, and forgot about it until a week later.. Tried it out on a break, and quickly discovered that I was HOOKED! Graphics are beautiful and vibrant, gameplay is perfectly paced, the AI is a blast, and I Love that there's a hotseat style available! Safe to say I'll be using all of my battery life over and over and over to play this game!!
The controls are bad, always confusing pan with shooting. When the map gets bigger, the AI has an enormous advantage as it has omniscient controls while in our humanity we have to struggle to control everything. A turn base mode would be nice.
Boring and uninspired. There are a million games like this out there and absolutely nothing to make this stand out except its aggressiveness in trying to sell you the Deluxe version. Don't buy Deluxe, it only includes features that are free in most games of this type. No value.
Pushy about reviews. Don't rate 5*. Game is fairly fun. Controls a bit awkward, selecting ship types per planet is painfully fiddly on small planets and forces you to zoom... So you can't aim properly anymore. That detracts from the pace and can lead to sending the wrong ship type way too easily.
I think it's nice how almost every attack you make you will lose ships, so you have to plan carefully. Also the art style is nice very comical. Only problem is controls, it takes quite a while to select the multiple planets then send them to the enemy. All and all though still a great game.
Controls need some work. Planet info messages that pop up at the top get in way. When you touch a planet to send out ships the options that surround the planets are in the way. And they aren't needed. They duplicate controls already available at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise decent time waster.
Neat idea, bad execution. The mechanic of clicking each planet individually prior to attack is terrible. Also, it sucks that the computer can see the whole screen and you can't without making out too small to play.
Great game, challenging variant on this type of game. Controls can take a bit of time to get used to - occasionally I'll send a giant fleet out into the depths of space when really I just wanted to scroll the screen slightly. Otherwise, very fun!
The controls need some work. Huge overlays of redundant information cover the thing you are trying to target. It also blatantly tries to bribe you into writing are 5 star review. So take it's score with a grain of salt.
Controls were difficult. Played 10 games and never quite got the hang of it. 1. Needs a screen lock feature. 2. The planet stats dropdown is so distracting - designer should make it smaller and leave it at the top instead of flashing half my screen away every time I click a planet. 3. Could also use an easy-to-find Restart button. 4. If you click "No" on the "Rate 5 Stars" pop-up it should go away for good, not reappear after EVERY game. Ratings are earned, not bought. I liked the strategy involved, and the fact that not all strikes would hit the planets. Overall: Uninstalled. Try Auralux or Influence if you want an A+ version of this game.
Simple concept well executed, although the controls can be a little finicky at times. There's no ads or pay2play, just a fun little game with none of the BS so prevalent in today's entertainment, it's one of those little must-haves one always keeps on all devices. Highly recommended must-have!
Basic graphics, with very nice game play. Targeting is shotgun like which can be viewed as a potential negative. However, I do find it novel and refreshing. The scatter effect does hit other planets. The game does provide a more than adequate platform to enjoy.
After playing awhile at easy and normal I tried hard. Its impossible. Played 37 rounds and was slaughtered every time. Not even close. The game shoots with %90 accuracy while your stuck with normal cant hit the side of a barn accuracy. Who wants a game you can NEVER win. I was considering paying the $4 for it but I would never. This not me. Im an experienced gamer. This is poor game design. I suggest you attempt hard before spending the money
Overall pretty fun so far, can be a little fiddly control-wise at times. Wish the UI elements (especially the box selection icon) didn't get in the way quite as much. Fun though! Nice work :)
The game is decent. Probably a 4 star IMO. The reason for 1 star is because my Galaxy S7 started acting weird. I'd go to sleep having cleared all recent apps and wake up with different apps opened. It really scared me when seeing my phone settings opened and app settings opened. I started downloading all sorts of anti-virus apps to find the problem. Then I realized it started after downloading this app, and guess what, it stopped after deleting it. Do not recommend.
you can just press "rate 5 stars" in the game and give one star in the actual play store. you'll get the reward in any case. --- actual review: the games is pretty bad, the rating is obviously skewed because of bribed ratings.
A great game, but it needs more unlockable content. Also, opposing ships should attack each other if they come into contact. Maybe add more types of planets, like a defensive space station or a warpgate. All in all, my biggest complaint is the lack of content.
Excellent concept! The controls are so clunky, though. Biggest suggestions to the developer: I don't need a pop up menu of the planet when I select it (make it a small box in the corner or something - always visible). Make touching and dragging easier (check out Little Stars for Little Planets, or Strikefleet Omega)
Much more enjoyable and interesting than other "swarm other planets and take over the board" games. If you like those but are a bit bored, definitely give this one a shot! Only real complaint is that dragging from a planet requires a bit too much precision, leading to lots of accidental drags instead... but that's quite minor.
The controls is what does this game in. The AI has a leg up because it doesn't have to deal with control issues. Everytime try to attack the map moves when I want to move the map a planet attacks. Would probably be better as a PC game with mouse controls.
A decent game, but the controls could be better (long press to fire, but swipe to pan the camera, sometimes mis-fire while trying to pan), also the game shamelessly asks you to review it 5 stars for an in-game bonus, AFTER EVERY SINGLE MATCH! Also, it keeps crash with an error message after each match.
It's alright. Not the graphically pleasing eyes candy of eufloria, no where near the challenge of auralux. But it's simple, quick, fun. It could use instructions for the items you can purchase, and it would be awesome if the levels were randomly generated instead of dependant on how many players are in each match. Other than that, it's a very enjoyable game. Oh, btw, need more stuff to purchase in game, more options for spending stars. Perhaps even an option to buy planets or views with the stars?
Not the game for me, but still a great concept. I won't grade it lower just because it isnt the type of game I prefer. It is a good concept, with good graphics, and seems like it would be an addicting game. A lot of people can really enjoy this game, it just isn't my style. Regardless, you did a good job making this game.
This game is awesome! Totally fits the play style i love! The only cons to it are the multi select tool is right in the middle of the screen, and the annoying pop-up that gives info on a selected planet. Overall this game is great!
I hate games where anything resembling strategy takes a back seat to trying fifty times to click what you're trying to click. Though you do have the option to zoom in to far to see what's going on instead.
Every similar game to this is better. Instead of all the ship's going where they should they many or most end up going off into deep space. And the use of dragging to both determine number and direction you would be better off using a percentage divider
It is mediocre. The game play is slow, and feels inefficient. Many ships are lost in every move and there is some randomness to it. I like that it has unique controls but other than that it is not that fun.
It forces you to give a rating for 5 stars you need to upgrade.... how can I give a fair review when I haven't played it yet... changed my review to 1 star becuse of this feature...
Days searching a game to play on android offline before traveling on my vacation and I found this game. Simple fun no adds or p2p and it can be played offline, just perfect. Hope dev will upgrade with more fun idea. I keep the game on this phone as one of my favs. Cheers...
Wow. I'm a sucker for strategy games, but all of them either get boring, or have rubbish controls that get samey samey. Not this! Fear not young strategisers for this game has all the elements of a great strategy game, but coupled with the fun of an addictive flash game. Brilliant. Only annoying thing is the eye views thing. If however many people click your link it doesn't give you the gadgetry, just makes you pay for it another way.
Great game if you are just sitting around waiting. It's so satisfying to see a massive fleet land on an enemy world and take it over. 100 ship fleets ftw
Controls are terrible. Moving the viewing area should be limited to when you are NOT clicking on a planet. Most of the time I tried to aim my ships, the screen moved instead.
When you put in a barrier of a pop-up at the finish of every game to continue asking to give a review, it becomes annoying. Incentivising a 5-star review with a small bit of in-game currency is disingenuous and deceptive.
Requires 5 star vote for upgrade... Pushing political and social crap through forced reviews... Only hurts whatever cause you are pushing... Failure
Controls can be jumpy and the interface can interfere with aiming. Maybe a double tap to bring up multiselect. Whatever can improve micro interactions and you have a very competetive game.
Quite fun, but frequent crashes are very annoying. Game control is also quite annoying and needs improvement. Don't waste money on it

I have played many of this type of game, where you send X amount of units to take over planet/base with X amount of defenders. This game adds some unique mechanics, like the fact that not all of your units will hit the planet you aim at, which encourages taking more strategic, even if smaller, planets. The rate five stars for some points in the game isn't as bad as most people say. You earn more stars fairly quickly, so you won't run out, and you can just "un-rate" the game anyway. All in all, it's a 3/5.
