App keeps telling me I'm "connected to wrong Wifi" then I shut down my wifi and try to search for the quad copter again and it doesn't populate on my wifi list. The app worked for about a minute the very first time I used it. It hasn't worked since even though I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and on several devices.

I was hesitating for the bad reviews, but i assume its just dumb people who doesn't read the instructions booklet, it really helps. The drone works perfectly fine except for some minimum instability. The app also works fine and the only issue i've encountered is that i couldn't see the video after recording because it saves it as an AVI file, but i downloaded "VidCompact" and in a matter of seconds i turned it into an mp4 video.

As others have stated, the app crashes as soon as I press play. Please fix so this toy is not completely worthless

Dies on pressing "Play", so no functionality. Asks for excessive permissions. Tencent Jetjat, as mentioned in another review, seems to work well, with only expected permissions requested.

Update: For all those who are ticked about this app, I just found another app here called "Tencent Jetjat" that actually works. I wonder if its been published by the Chinese OEM for this product, in light of Mota's refusal to provide a functional app. My original review follows: No problems with the app crashing on my Note4, runs just fine and seems totally stable. Problem is that it only provides camera access. None of the controls work, including the calibration, trim, take-off and landing buttons, any part of the UI that provides control of the drone. As another user mentioned, the trim controls are only available in the app, so this is a usability loss. I've tried every connection sequence I can think of, with and without the physical controller, before and after linking the controller -- no way to get the app controls to work. What a shame.

Can't use it, connects with wifi, cannot fly drone with controls. Not worth downloading and half the reason why you would buy this toy goes out the window at that point.

Shows video feed, but doesn't save videos. Takes pics just fine. Can't control using app. Still can't control with app, but found that downloading a separate video player will play the videos.

Phone hooks up, camera works, but none of my phone controls work; I have to use the remote.

The app only works to take video & photos. It DOESNT allow you to control the drone with just your phone. You must still use controller. I does connect easily, if your phone isnt trying to connect to another wifi source (remember to not connect automatically to other local wifi while using the drones app)... App saves videos in weird old format (*.avi) I have to convert video file to mp4 to make sharable.

it's a shame the app for this drone is crap.It's a cool little drone but without the trim controls,which are only on the app ,its a bit of a struggle to fly with any real stability.And it appears Mota doesn't care that they put out a useless app since they don't respond to customer support tickets.I'll be returning the drone and just have to purchase one from a better company.

Can't seem to get the app to work which renders the camera on the drone useless.

App hooks up but can not control with device only with rc. Tryed to use with vr but video freezes. It is shame they don't fix app could be fun little quad

Great app works good only video and pics but it works great little drone fun to use and works great read the manual dummies . Dont go off these reviews its is a great drone for the beginner . Just read the directions and keep it low till u learn to use it good.

Never opens past homescreen

Fun little toy but just that, connects to wifi, press play and displays ( unfortunately jetjat app has stopped ) useless app.

You can view what the drone camera sees, but it's completely incapable of controlling the drone.
