Kult of Ktulu: Olympic for Android
Demo. Buy to unlock full story. I have no problems with this business model, provided that the listing in google play clearly lists them, rather than serving the illusion of a full game with in app purchases. There is no such information on this page, and thus a star is lost. I was captivated until the moment the app asked me for money, destroying my immersion. Had I been forewarned of incoming mandatory purchase to continue, I would have not minded.
This is a very nice looking game that took me a while to figure out. The button on the bottom left doesn't work and it's not clear that clicking on the page will have some effect. I'd clicked at the edge of the page, all over the profile pages, and tried to swipe to another chapter before I realized I have to click the text boxes.
Terrific interactive fiction and the narrative techniques are a delightful twist. However the game seems to get stuck after taking the dagger with no obvious signs of failure.
It starts off interestingly but the free part ended before I had a chance to meaningfully evaluate the game.
It is only demo, well made but demo.
This isn't a game. It's a demo.
I am still trying to figure out what the hell to do do do.
I really couldn't follow what was going on. I read everything but am too stupid to play this.
That's real cool. Really love this point and click game.
Very cool looking game. If you are a reader then this is for you.

I am happy to have played it, I really enjoyed the interaction with the player through the way that it is set up. However, I also think some of the choices are arbitrary and illogical and take away a feeling of being entirely immersed. That said, I do believe this can be just as well due to the nature of the game, but it does lower the attention that I invest in it. I really enjoyed the writing and hope there will be another story arc in the future. Well done! :)
