Mystic Words

I'm not a big game player, but my wife is hooked on this one so I thought I would give it a try. It's interesting, something casual to kill time with and I don't need to find an opponent or play against the computer. Intellectually challenging but not so much that it takes the fun out of it.

I usually do the fresh Daily Puzzle after midnight, just before I go to sleep. Sometimes I wake up with my phone on my face and the puzzle only partially done. Then I finish it and I am happy again. My point is, I really enjoy this game, it makes me think. :-)

I love this game, and will not stop playing it. But, a warning to new users- as you progress through the levels the solutions become increasingly abstract to the point that some have literally no connection to the clue. I don't know what language this was originally in but it feels at times as though you're dealing with clues that were translated by Google rather than an actual person. Still, it doesn't happen too often and you can deal with it by ignoring the clue and focusing on the letters that are left. Hence the 3 stars and not 1. Because this is a truly excellent time killer.

This game is a real brain buster. It really get the old noggin working and I like that. I love the way this word game is organized and how everything is right there in front of you. I believe that everyone should have this game since it's not only fun, but can also be used as a learning tool. Kudos to the developers.

I absolutely love this game. I love that it can easily be played in intervals or for one long sitting. I love that it makes me think and look for patterns. What I don't love and why I had to give it 4 stars is the fact that it won't launch. I've been stuck on the open screen and then crash for weeks. It seems I'm the only one with this issue? I'm a sad panda. :(

Love the game. Makes me think but not too hard...two issues: if I go too long without touching the screen it times out and triggers my screensaver, it's a little inconvenient to change my phone settings to avoid this during game play.Also when I turn the sound off and exit the game it's usually back on when I open it back up.

Since the last update packs have soared in price but no extra for daily puzzles or pack puzzles. A bit unfair me thinks.

On the whole a great game, not convinced all the words are legit though, but it doesn't stop me playing. Occasional issues with it freezing which is as pain.

I love this game! Well I did until.it was changed from 20 coins for a hint to 50 coins for the answer. Why? It takes all the fun out of the game and spoils it! Please please put the hint option back in!

Ridiculous a tip cost 50 coins now... Why would you give the da*n answer?!?! Please change it back to just a clue. What's the point of getting an answer? Takes the fun outta the game

This game was brilliant until the hint changed from 20c for 1 part to 50c for the entire word. Taking the fun and gameplay away from the game! Please, please, please change it back. The game is broken revealing an entire word in one go!

Twice now, once I had to switch devices and the other my phone deleted the game, ive reinstalled and all the progress I made it gone. Tired of starting over when its all been the same account using and installing.

It was great i loved the challenge of figuring out the word. But when they made the hint a solve button i didnt like that. I like to still try and figure it out. I think there should be an option for hint or solve. Let us decide what we want.

Great concept, lackluster execution. Way too many of the puzzles are way too far removed from definitions and actual usage of words. Some even end up being the opposite of what the clue says. I'd love the game if the answers matched the clues.

Blatant rip off of 7 little words. "Find the 7 words by deciphering clues and combing letters". You spelled combining wrong you morons.

I love the game. It is a real challenge. I only have 4 stars as the advertisements on my tablet were very flashy and gave me a headache. Second, a number of the words are in a different tense than their clue. Finally, I was stick on one, and the answer was an abbreviation of elementary school that I have never seen or heard of before... And I am an elementary school teacher.

Would have been a 4 or 5 but this morning I discover they took away the clues for 20pts and now give the actual answer for 50 pts. The whole point of the puzzle is figuring it out! I don't want the answers! What's the fun in that? Uninstalling as soon as I'm done with this review. Thanks for ruining the game guys.

The new hint cost is a total rip off. If I wanted the solution I'd look it up online. I've stopped playing.

Most clues are either stupidly straight forward , bizarre or very obscure but it is a good time waster. New clue system now gives full answer seems a bit pointless

It just made it harder when the update came out where you can't buy the first half of the word anymore you have a to buy the whole thing or nothing i think that's a lot harder and especially because i don't enough coins for that help either

Some clues decidedly dubious but put that down to not being English! Still, having said that it is an interesting challenge for the most part, and I've stuck it out to level 28!

The game is enjoyable but the clues are often poorly worded or very obscure. This adds to the challenge even though it can be frustrating at times.

Some of the spelling is questionable and usage can be wrong, but that adds to the difficulty;)

Some of them fly by, others stump you for a bit. I especially like the puzzles that have to do with other countries.

It's obvious that the game is developed in the US given some of the spelling and clues. This can make it challenging and infuriating. For example for the clue A country and a continent the answer was Africa, I've never heard of the country of Africa.

Many of the clues dont make sense. I enjoyed being able to a buy a hint but hate having to pay for a solve. When i am out of coins, i will not buy more and will be done with the game.

I am in love with this game. I tell all my friends about it. I love that there are many levels with many games in each. I have been playing a while and still haven't completed everything. It's a fun challenge.

Why have you changed the clue tile from first tile to whole answer??? Before I still felt like I achieved simething even when I cheated by using a clue

I enjoy this game, just wish the hints were in the right tense and had less errors and misspellings.

The levels get harder but they always throw an easy one in there. You're stumped and then rearrange the letters and it clicks!! Amazing game!!

Love the game! Having trouble loading the daily at midnight since the time change. Loads okay after 1AM.

As a casual player I love this game because I can pick it up when I want to and know that I will still get the same enjoyment. And that is why I come back time after time

I think this game would be a little more fun if there was an actual goal such as accomplishing different levels and use your points to get around a board for instance, something along those lines ) something to show your progress. Otherwise very good game to get your brain thinking.

Very addictive, I have to do the daily before I even get out of bed, play it all the time, think you should get more than 3 coins, especially when a level is completed

I like this. Do the ones you know first, then the number of letters & process of elimination usually help me finish. So far it's not too hard, not too easy. Pretty good word game, & I haven't found many to rate 4-5 stars. I like that there are multiple letters on one tile, & that you can shuffle them.

This game can be played when you just have a couple minutes, or you can play multiple puzzles over an extended period. It can be a family game as well; working together to find solution words while waiting at a restaurant is one way we enjoy it.

Some of the sentences don't make sense for the word to connect to it. It's a challenge. Just don't like the whole word being given up , when all I want is a letter.
