Secret Hitler Companion

Would be a nice companion app to the board game but it needs to hold the screen unlocked or use a service to play audio while the screen is dark. It doesn't help when the instructions stop in the middle because the screen timed out.

Essentially Wil Wheaton narrating the game's opening. Kinda useful, but it's only in English, which might put off some people.

A nice app to have for the game for sure. Just needs fixing with the sound stopping after the screen turns off and that to exit the app you have to do a force exit.

It does tell you what you need but it's really weird talks about flowers and stuff

This is a terrible anti-semetic game and should not be rated high on the app store for families of survivors of the Holocaust to see. It doesn't matter if you say say it's a "antifa learning tool", antifa can be great but can often be as anti-semetic as the rest of society. If you look at the comments, it's very clear this game is just profiting off of the humor of people who think it's kooky and fun to laugh at atrocities that have never affected them. Stupid idea to spread this game further with an app.

Doesn't work for me. Get to the main menu and can't start a game.

Flippin love this!! Easy to use and super helpful and while listening I thought this sounds a lot like Will Wheaten then I read narration by Will Wheaten!! XD

Audio is too long

Brilliant. Is there a French version? We're playing with French friends soon and it would be useful.

I have to drag the notification band on my Nexus 6P to switch from the app to something else. As many others have noted, the playback stops when the screen turns off, which is really annoying as you have to set a longer delay just for this companion app. Also, the narration is waaay too slow, is too newbie-oriented and somewhat redundant. It's OK when you're playing for the first couple of times, but gets very annoying with more playthroughs.

I just hope you could create a game for a software platform for android or PC. I would buy it for sure.

It doesn't work, there's only a black screen. I've uninstalled the app and tried again but nothing changes.

Audio stops when the screen turns off or when any notification sounds play, pretty annoying. Winced when I learned it was narrated by will wheaton, but I did chuckle at a few parts of the dialogue so at least I know he didn't write any of it.

Way more exciting than I thought it would be. On first hearing, I laughed so hard my eyes teared up.

This is a handy tool. The start for Secret Hitler isn't as complicated as some other similar games like Resistance: Avalon, so you can get by without this, but it's convenient and definitely worth using just for the over the top dramatic narration. (Some German music in the background would be a nice addition to set the mood, but not necessary.) Wil Wheaton or whoever wrote the dialog, thank you for creating the phrase "thumb bunker".

Great to have the start up in such a great voice with a bit extra added for fun. Only problem is that the sound stops of the screen locks. Added so it doesn't allow locking it would be perfect.

It would have been nice to let your backers know this was out. Sounds good this should really help.

This would be a great app except for one significant, but easy to fix, issue. The app needs to either stop the screen from turning off during narration or (better) continue the narration when the screen is off.

Needs and option to download the video explaining the game, so the app doesn't need Internet access after the app install, and optional offline video

A beautiful app to go with an exceptional game. Some of the highest quality and love went into making them all fine additions to the game cabinet

Functional, but the narration is way too long winded and annoying. If you're cringing your way through it like we were, it doesn't get any better. Just delete it.
