No extra gameplay, only reason not a 5. What it does, it does perfectly. A great addition to people who want to play Gloomhaven truely spoiler free. Could have random scenarios, and 5 player variations, or one of many things that can make this go from great, to vital. But it is still amazing and so far not seen any mistakes.
