The whole story fully-voiced in Japanese by popular voice actors, and the beautiful illustrations are perfectly ported right from the PSP version! In addition to that, it features a new scenario and new illustrations specifically created for the original app.
The Standard Edition is available to download for free. The Prologue is playable for free and each chapter costs an additional US$3.99.
The new scenario is available upon purchase of all main episodes in the Normal Edition, but is available right from the start in the Premium Edition.
The Premium Edition, which includes all the scenarios, as well as the new one, is available at $27.99. (It costs $11.91 less than buying all the episodes using the Normal Edition)

[STORY]
It is the end of the Edo Era, and the 3rd year of the Bunkyu Era...
The protagonist, Chizuru Yukimura, was raised in Edo and is daughter to a Rangaku scholar.
Having lost contact with her father in Kyoto, Chizuru decides to visit him.
There, Chizuru witnesses a Shinsengumi soldier killing a bloodthirsty monster.
By strange happenstance, Chizuru finds herself connected to the Shinsengumi, and the assassins desperate to kill them.
As time progresses, Chizuru will discover their terrible secret...Furies.
Tortured by their own thoughts, the men of the Shinsengumi wield their blades in defense of their faith and ideals, in an era torn apart by chaos.
Hidden in the riots that defined the passing of the Edo period, a dark battle within the Shinsengumi begins: A battle that will never be recorded in the pages of history...

So it told me to purchase chapter 2. I did. But then it just kept coming up with an error message. And it just keeps telling me to purchase it. But when I do it says I already own it but it won't let me read the next chapter

Amazing game with amazing voice actors. I actually want this to be much longer. I love the heroine. I love the characters (Specially Heisuke) and the story is amazing. The romance between the males and the heroine was believable and nicely paced. I am still not over Heisuke and that's a testament on how well made the characters are.

I love the game, finished all the possible routs even, but now that I have a new phone the game data won't transfer. I'd really like to not spend all that money a second time. The stories are good and worth the money, but I'd rather not pay a second time for a story I've already read.

I really like all the characters and I love the art and voices, but it just follows the storyline of the anime, so there's really not much new or different. If you've seen the anime, I wouldn't bother with it.

By far my favorite Otome game ever. Great story and plot that includes a lot of romance but doesnt focus only on that. I would really love to get Kyoto Winds on phones asap ❤❤

After finishing Amnesia (also a great game) I stumbled onto Hakuoki.It's incredibly fun and its clear that a great deal of effort was put into it.I highly recommend you try it. :)

Loved every route of it. Watched the anime first and it was also great but loved this game more because it went in the details of every guy's past. My top 4 favorites are definitely soji, saito and harada, and kazama. Love the other guys too especially heisuke, he was so cute but those 4 are really the best imo. Wish there were more games like this. I wouldn't mind paying if there were more great games like this from idea factory

Using android 6.0.1 and it's working just fine. Great graphic and voices so far! Stories are great too! Worth to buy! And the price isn't bad either. People who rate it bad because it wasn't free are all wrong. The developer need some money too to pay the voice actors and the graphic designer,etc. Nothing free in this world guys. Overall great job to the developer!

Amazing graphics and story, I never saw such a rich and detailed historic visual novel! I just wish we could upgrade to the Premium version in-game, to avoid re-paying the routes we already bought... I completed Saito's route already, and it just feels wrong to pay twice for something you already have.

Mr. Bandana Guy doesn't have a route. I spent 2.99 on this game and Mr. Bandana Guy just didn't want me. He had the nerve to tie me up, but didn't have the bravery to give it to me. That in itself is kinky.

I don't mind paying for it, the prologue was pretty good so I decided I would buy the premium edition(buying each chapter is too much of a hassle). They're having a 50% off white day special so I tried to use the link from their page. Just sends my phone into blackness lol....I tried both of my phone's, my android and my Amazon fire phone. I'll probably end up buying the premium at full price since the special ends today but it's irritating that their advertised special doesn't work.

Probably the most enjoyable unintentional Japanese lesson I've ever had. I wish the main character wasn't always such a weak-willed silly wimp. Most women have a lot more fire in them, dear game writers! Also, I wonder how this game differs from the deluxe version..? Price aside, of course...
