I Am Innocent for Android
I absolutely love this game - aside from the hacking/tiles minigame. The minigame is kind of fun, but as others have said, doesn't go with the flow of story. And having to get 5 stars for a few lines of dialogue? It took me three days because I didn't have enough coins to buy the hacks, which is almost necessary because you never get the right color of tiles that you actually need to win the game. It's not even a puzzle strategy game when it's all based on chance. Otherwise the detective part of the game is awesome and it's neat because it's like you are actually talking to those people. It's a really cool concept.
I really like this game which is why I'll give it five stars. Yet, there's one thing that could be fixed. For example, the internet connection wouldn't be necessary, would it? The hacking game is a bit too much (like it takes too much space of the game (but that depends on everyone's taste)). Still, I really like this game and I highly recommend it :)
Along with everyone else I think the game is great but the mini game takes up way too much time. After a certain point you can't win without using cheats. You almost feel like you're forced to spend actual money to advance the game. Might stop soon as I can't progress with the story. Such a shame.
This is a really good game, it has an interesting storyline, the mini game is fun, but there are a few problems. As you get to higher levels in the mini game, the levels get "harder". By harder I mean they make winning up to chance. You have to collect certain colors of tiles to win the game, and a lot of times you do not get the needed tiles without buying 5 extra turns using in game money. This is supposed to be a puzzle, so winning should depend on where people decide to move their tiles to, not what tiles the game gives them. When you're using all of your 5 lives to try to get 1 star but you aren't getting the pieces you need, there's a problem. Since stars are needed to advance the story line, it gets to a point where you are trying to get a few stars for days, and you cannot advance the storyline until you have the certain amount it takes to move on. I Am Innocent is a great game otherwise.
I love this game so far. Only change I would make is in the dialogue. The way these people talk to you is so scripted feeling. If all my friends texted me that way I'd get annoyed with them really fast. Also, I would love if there was possible to write your own responses to these people, a player response could get run through an algorithm to get the most suitable response back from the texter and it would feel more real and would get the player more emotionally involved. .
The concept of the game is great.... I think.... Well to be honest I can't be sure because you have to stop gather information and playing the actual game every like 5 messages to play the stupid "hacking" mini game things. Thank there's no skill involved its kinda like Tetris and you just have to get lucky with the pieces they give you. And sometimes it takes FOREVER to get enough stars to continue with the story. And then you continue the story for like 3 minutes, and guess what? Back to the "hacking" mini games for like EVER... So far the entire game has been the definition of "Long walk for a short drink of water."
Noticing that it's becoming a noted thing as the mini games boring and doesn't flow with the story. If there's going to be games I think they should be apart of the game Flow and currently they are not. We'll keep playing because I'm very interested in how this ends. But I'm stuck at a point where the end goal is hard to reach.
I like the detective aspect of this game, and that you get to choose your responses to affect your relationships (although I'm not sure if that matters yet). But the game is just a vehicle for their Tetris-like puzzle. You have to play the puzzle in order to advance at all in the game. I wish there was more variety with the mini-games!
Not much to the graphics, but the game concept is simple enough that it doesn't take away from anything. The game itself could be great, but the puzzles are such a waste of time it makes the game less interesting. I have to beat the same puzzles roughly 8 times in a row to move on? I really want to like the game, but it doesn't hold my interest enough to continue playing and see the story all the way through.
I can't remember who the characters are or who's said what because I spend 95% of the game playing the damned block games. Honestly, the block games are ok, but I don't want to play that kind of game I just want to play through the story. I just had a few messages from the characters and now I need to get another 4 stars! It's way too much for fans of narrative-driven games.
I want to love this game so much. The story is interesting. But the puzzles kill it. I'm not very good at this type of puzzle. There needs to be more variety instead of the same game just more and more difficult to the point where I either lose all my lives in 5 minutes or have to buy coins. As much as I love the other aspects, I will be uninstalling this game.
I love the story and the puzzle elements! It's such a unique concept and I love how it's all in real-time. My only complaint would be the sliding to select dialogue options has caused me to choose the wrong text to send by mistake several times now. I keep uninstalling and reinstalling when that happens because I don't want to screw up and there's no way to redo or go back that I can see. ^^;
The story is super intriguing. My only issue is that some of the levels for the puzzles give you blocks that you can't use to achieve your goal, like on 20 I need 30 green blocks and 2 mystery boxes but in order to get to the mystery boxes I need vertical boxes. That level particularly barely gives you any vertical boxes and barely green blocks to reach your goal. So its very frustrating
The storyline and the whole detective thing is awesome but as everyone else said, please do something about the mini games. I don't mind if I have to play them but, it's a waste of time when you have to play it like 10 times and more. It makes the game boring. I really like the game, but in my opinion you have to change the fact that, whenever we need something, we have to collect 4 starts from mini games that we have to spend the money of this game
How in the world do the developers think that it is reasonable to give a certain amount of moves for Tetris and then require colors goals that they don't even give you? For an example, you give me 30 or 40 moves in one game and you want 20 orange cleared, and I'm given 5 different shapes of orange to work with? An absolute disgrace.
Fun game. However. The newest update patched the refund number so you can not do it more the on e now. Which is dumb. The hacking part gets to stupidhard to where it makes the game less fun and lose interest in the game. The story seems to be interested then gets really off and boring some parts.
I can't get more than 3 lives with the latest update. Fix this and I'll give my 5 star rating back. This really is a great game, the story is interesting, and, while the minigame can be challenging, I'd say that it's fun too. If it weren't for that bug, I'd say this is the best game I've ever played.
I like the whole premise of the game but I can agree with a few of my fellow reviewers, the mini games are kinda dumb, why aren't their different ones? Definitely could use improvements but all in all ill keep playing
this game feels so real, I love these type of smartphone based games! It's a similar concept to Lifeline, and this genre of games perfectly utilise our smartphone to make the game feel real! only boring part tho is the somewhat repetitive puzzle game.
I feel the same about the minigame as everyone else. Its not fun, its hard to understand, and not necessary. A variety of different puzzles would be better for hacking (use games like flow free as an example of what might be a better game) but for now, I am uninstalling because I can't get far into the story without spending hours at a time trying to finish just one star.
Love the whole aspect of the game except the mini games. It's a cool thing to be a detective but, if you look at all the other reviews then they will probably agree with me. The whole tile thing is just stupid. If they remove it and make it all about being a detective then I will download it again. But until then, deleting.
I feel like you have too much of one puzzle style compared to how much story line is available between star requirements. It makes the game uninteresting after a short period of time.
So, I *was* really into this game... Except, I'm pretty sure that it has glitched a couple of times after I've taken a while to win a minigame and added more "levels"(stars) I need to win before it will let me go on. And it's basically unplayable now because I completed every single level and the game is telling me I need two more stars to continue.
The story seems really good but I can't get into it because I have to do this never-ending puzzle every few minutes. I suggest either take them out, change the mini game, or make it less frequent.
This game is so interesting, for me its really hard to find a good app for me to play constantly without getting bored of it because i finish it so quickly, but so far this game is challenging, puzzling and fun. The fact that the texting actually feels real makes me kinda scared because it just feels so real. The games you have to do to continue the game are supper challenging and i love that, not to easy, not to quick.
It's a really fun text kind of game. The thing I love most is the computer hacking. You have to fit in different shapes into odd shaped boxes. It's hard to explain but super addicting!
Grossly underrated. Good game with a good storyline. Unlike most mystery games of today, not much purchasing with real money is needed. Only criticism: too many mini games to get to crucial parts. I'd go 5 max per clue.
Really liked this game until the 5th load of puzzles. They are boring and way too hard at times, they ruin the flow with the same monotonous minigame that adds nothing. Wish they would either remove them or change it up a bit with a different game. At least please remove level 38 as I'm not even sure it can be done without spending a fortune!
I love the game play. I love how the game it set up, but the puzzles are a joke. The puzzles get to the point where it isn't possible to complete the level with the pieces it gives you. They don't give you enough of a certain color to complete it even if you get rid of all of the pieces on the board. They should at least make it possible to complete the level if you play the pieces right.
Could be a good game if you just let the story flow, the hacking aspect is boring and stupid, it gets really hard over time and your left to the mercy of RNG as to what pieces you get next. I've had times where it was impossible to complete because of this.
I can't get any farther in the story than the third level of puzzles allows me to, because they are designed to be unwinnable by not giving the necessary pieces. It seems like a money grabbing scheme, which is a shame because the rest of the game is a lot of fun. I'd like to suggest more dialogue choices as well, so it feels more natural.
Its awful. The mini game relies on chance and a tiny bit of skill. When you "lose" the mini game you lose a life, and if you're not willing to shell out cash you have to wait 2 hours when you run out of "lives". The mini game is the worst part of this game, really. Could have been so much better with a strategy or better puzzle.
I really wish I could like this game. I want to find out whats going on in the story but the minigame has removed me from the story for literally almost a full day. Unless you have money to spend on the mini game, I would suggest getting involved. It's nothing but frustrating after a while.
Love this game!!! So chilling and realistic... Don't be afraid when they want you to call 911, even tho you may think you are actually calling the police (I personally was; the phone looked so real!) you have nothing to fear (but fear itself). :)
Enjoying the story etc, just a shame that the puzzle type is always the same. Also, as others have said, in later levels you are not given enough of the right colour pieces to fulfil the goals-you just have to get lucky and keep trying
The game/story is really good. Though, something that completely takes the fun out of it is the minigame. I wouldn't mind you keeping the minigames but you could at least have different kinds instead of that one game. Other than the minigame, it's really interesting.
Puzzles are not well made. Pacing of the storyline is awful. The game is not made to be played smoothly. You could be stuck at one point for days. When you finally win, you have 1 conversation and nothing happens. Can't even say it's pay to win, even if you paid, you wouldn't win (that's how bad the puzzles are.) It's a cool idea, but it's made so they could make money, not so you could have fun.
Simplistic interface, interesting storyline. Could do with more variety in the minigames and I have yet to see how the relationships affect the game. Also, there was absolutely no need to give the player a gender. It threw me out of the experience.
I actually find the game really interesting and fun to play. I just wish there was more ways to earn money like watch a short video or do a math problem or have $1 every hour.

As like everyone else said... The story is interesting but that minigame thing sucks, it's hard and I don't exactly understand how to play. I also don't think it's it's really nesscery to have or at least that type of game. If you want to have a minigame have it play along with the story some how or something that would be better, but for now uninstalling.
