Progress Quest

A free to play game with no ads, IAPs, or waiting to progress? Are you trying to make EA look like the scummy parasites that they are? Heh, I'm only kidding about EA of course... Nobody has to *try* to make EA look like what they obviously are.

Worthless crap. Make a character and you are done. Absoltely nothing else to do, no choices to make, no actions to take, NOTHING. No interaction what so ever. Pointless waste of time.

Everyone said that the wedget is not working first of all you need to move it to phone if it is in SD card then try again to use the wedget and it will work. this is my first time to play this game my only question is there any legendary items or something-something i feel bored if am only watching but am lvl 13 right now and am in act III am happy that i found a game like this :)

In order to progress, I need to keep my screen on. If I lock my phone or the screen times out, the progress stops. Sorry but I'm not keeping my screen on all day. You used to be able to minimize it on the PC...

I remember this when I was a kid. Loved this game. My only problem with this port is that it doesn't continue to play after the app is closed. You need to app open continuously for your character to progress. Other than that awesome guy

A lot of games make you grind quests and monsters just to watch bars fill up. Progress Quest gets rid of all that tedium so that you can enjoy what video games are really about: watching bars and numbers go up.

This just one of those great pastimes that I always want installed. The only thing I'm curious about is why my executions are always complete after 70%.

How is 3D mode gonna change anything? Make the text 3D? That'd look horrible seeing there's barely enough space for a few text lines...

I wish there was a local/cloud backup, since my phone is almost broken due to its screen.

I was swept up in the epic story, with highs and lows. That first mermaid you have to kill is a real gut wrench.

This game takes all the best parts of traditional RPGs and melds them together into a smooth perfection. You learn how to play pretty quickly, but truly mastering it takes hours. The interface is well laid-out and intuitive. The gameplay is so immersive that you'll forget that you're even playing a game!

I can see how some people might enjoy this, but it isnt really a game, more of just watching a character (kinda) do stuff. No micromanagement or anything like that sadly at the minimum.

Yes I get basis of the game and I love the concept and watching all the random stuff happen. But why can't I run this as a background? I feel that seriously defeats the purpose of this just going on its own.

Big fan of PQ for the PC, the port is great and including the hidden 3D mode was a great call. Only possible improvement that can come to mind is the ability to run in the background so my Talking-pony Shiv-Knight can progress while I'm progressing myself. I have completed Act I, the battle with Troubqet the Plaid Dragon was EPIC.

I've loved this game since its PC launch. The graphics are amazing and so realistic, the storyline is engaging, the world is so much more open than most other RPGs (even more than a Bethesda game), the mob grinding spots are hardly ever over-farmed, the PVP is almost seamless, the interface is very intuitive (a breath of fresh air in todays gaming world), and the connection is always strong.

It'd be nice to compare to others ibn how far you've come. Also the countdown for acts is off by a lot, seems to be about a fourth of how long it actually takes. Currently level 222 and act 57 after a year or three

All the charm of the original, and doesn't drain the battery at all, even when running in the background via the widget. Small bug: after a while, clicking on the widget doesn't open the app, removing and re adding the widget fixes it until it happens again.

This game could singlehandedly save the world from poverty, end all wars, fix the global warming, create the perfect society, heck, it could even stop the politicians from lying... And even more... It is way better than that... Great deal better...

Got this game on PC when it first came out and loved it. Very, VERY, disappointed that this version does not run unless the screen remains on AND is the front app.

Anyone who rates this game 1 star and complains about not being able to do anything after choosing your character clearly knows nothing about the wonder that is Progress Quest. Fools...

I would like an option for posting on facebook lol. the widget helps but it does not keep going when my tablet goes to sleep :(

Such parody much wow. I have this game for 2months and still love it,reminds me of Godville a lot but without the interactions. Would love to see it updated

You have to have to game running in the foreground in order to play. I'm on the first chapter (10 hours long) and it just isn't fun staring at the same screen for 10 hours

I don't see the point of this genre. Set up and let it go on its own? What's the point?

Two suggestions: 1. on my device (sgs6) progress does not continue with app in background - this was the integral part of Windows progress quest; we need the app to run in background. 2. Leaderboards. That's it. You're a dope dev. Keep this up! Most importantly: run in background.

Played the pc version a long time ago. Played this one a little. It's just as good. Nice and relaxing way to watch the levels roll in. To the guy who rated it a 1 star, if you don't like the genre as a whole, do t waste peoples time with a stupid review

Love the game can you add player interaction however minimal like clicking to speed up quests or skill points to use on your character to carve him into your image or having control of buying and selling and please add like an info button explaining what each skill does for me and others. Its fun but lacks that feeling of pride when you upgrade your character or finally buy that expensove item you've been dreaming of. That was long

This is such a depressing waste of time, and the money it costs to charge the phone that this supposed "game" takes up should be reimbursed. I have the widget on my home screen and once I go check the game and then exit out, it takes me back to when I was level 5. Been stuck on level 5-12 for a while now. Needs to be fixed.

Your you're just picking some stat then you're just looking at the stats go up in its nothing you do and you're just sitting there looking at it you can't look at your player it's pointless so don't get the game. In fact the only people who would keep playing this after you know how it's played is a nerd who stay's on the computer all day. One day ending up in there mom basement don't play this game for your sake.

Wish it would continue playing when the phone is locked, but I understand that is out of the dev's control.
