About Nuclear Chess

Nuclear Chess (also known as Atomic Chess or Dead Square) is an unusual chess variant. Whenever a piece is captured, both pieces and all adjacent pieces are removed from the game. Nuclear Chess games are short and fun even for people who usually don't play chess.

Features:
* Simple rule changes compared to normal chess, yet totally different game play
* Play against AI, choosing one of 6 difficulty levels
* Undo your moves and try a different strategy
* Get hints from the AI if you are stuck
* Use shuffle mode to play with a randomized starting position
* Support for the three most popular Nuclear Chess rule sets:
- Full Blast (all adjacent pieces are removed from the game)
- Keep Pawns (adjacent pawns survive a nuclear strike)
- Dead Square (nuclear strikes leave a blocked square)

A wonderful app for training atomic chess. Especially love the AI which is absent in online chess website. Would like it more if a function were present to let the engine play itself to identify the best moves from a line. PGN and FEN input would be great too.

I invented Nuclear Chess aka Dead square and Harald Bartel was the first to impliment a java applet to play my game. If you call it Nuclear Chess, can you please not leave out the Dead square rule? Can you make it an option otherwise? Thanks. -Jason
