The Tower of Egbert for Android
It's a great game, since I can spend a few minutes building here and there over time if I'm busy. It's very fun, and very challenging! Sadly, when I try to join the forums, I never receive a confirmation email. In reply to the dev: Yep, completely sure.
I don't get the lag many ppl describe. My droid turbo handles it like a champ, but after about 15 minutes, the phone case itself gets uncomfortable to hold. That can't be good for my device, so I have to put this game on hold. This is the sort of thing that could make an awesome PC game if expanded.
This is a great time killer and a really simple, enjoyable game that anyone can play. My only qualm is that you have to sit through an ad every time you hit play, which can be a lot if you're working on a really tricky section. But people got to make money, and its a pretty minor gripe. I just wish you could test the physics without going through that.
I like this game. It's quite easy to navigate and the idea is really cute. Overall, I'm very happy with it. But my phone keeps crashing because it gets too hot, which is a big problem. If you can somehow fix it, I'd be very happy to give a 5 star review.
Ran out of energy, none to collect on the 6th chapter. Is that a hint to buy? I am not allowed to purchase things. I had 32 at the begining of ch 6. And cant get old ones to load. I thought that would be the case.
While simple gfx might be the advantage I totally dislike the courgette nosed wizard. Though this is not the main drawback. The biggest problem... after finshing a few levels 5 seconds ads between each level is something unacceptable. Uninstalled the game.
I like the suspense whether my tower will tip or not. Wish there was an option to gridlock floating islands since the rest are like that but otherwise I make do. Hard to out the game down as I just want to keep building up. Would love to see a free play as well and maybe a tip and trick level progression but the game is fun to play right now
It's a real fun game, in which you just build towers, castles, whatever you want! The only problems are the ads, and that there isn't any creative mode, in which you can just go create whatever you want without limits. Other than that, it's a must try!
i dont know why... the play button do nothing, so i cant play... i go to purchase form and wanna try to donate but none of every button works... they all do nothing include the close button so i was stuck in there... i stuck in everywhere... my device is alcatel one touch flash plus. android 4.4... can play awesome graphic game but cant play this one... wtf?
I'd like more capabilities of going back to a previous state, I forget to save and the limit to how far you can undo is annoying but otherwise I love it. I just like to create and don't really play for the points... perhaps a creative mode with unlimited undos, no physics, and all blocks/details unlocked? Just a thought, love the game!
I started playing and once I caught on it was fun...Until the lag started. It first got bad during the larger builds but soon it was all the time. I could not zoom in while a map was reloading. It would force me to fully zoom out and then I would have to spend extra time zooming back in. So frustrating. I like the game but if the lag keeps up I will have to delete the game.
Interesting concept, but too complicated to be really fun. The menu system is annoying and fiddly. Good potential!
I don't know why I like this kooky game its quite difficult to build what you want slow and frustrating but I just can't help stacking one brick on top of the other it is hard and you need patience. But it is v.annoying that the terrain isn't level & selection of bricks is awful you don't get enuf briks to build what's in the screenies.
I feel like an architect. A very unskilled architect, I love playing with the weights and balances and shaping my tower of awesomeness. Great game five stars all day, will be paying this dev for his time, great work man!!
Hey i really enjoy playing this game but can you go back and undo a certain level without having to delete blocks one by one?But overall its fun and beatifull.Keep up the good work.
Do not expect good graphics as pic shows you! It's just a good time pass game but not at all addictive
A wonderful combination of physics ad magic, trying to build solid structures and seeing them impossibly stop destroying mid-fall. Only one question: is it possible to restart the game? Newbee tower does not look too good :-)
But can't seem to find level goals, so I keep failing. Don't really understand the menu either. There are blocks left and right, what's the difference? And I have to open the menu every time. Why not leave it open? Probably this game isn't for me. :)

It seems like when you get to a certain point the game starts to lag so much that it becomes unplayable. The zoom-in function also needs work, as the inverted-pinch thing only zooms it in the tiniest bit. It was taking like ten minutes just to scroll up and zoom to the point where I built up to. Also- for anyone who can't handle the excessive bouncing, I've noticed that the bouncing happens more if you use the undo function, so try deleting bricks manually instead :)
Why is anyone hating on this game? It is fun and has a good replay value. I'm looking forward to the addition of an open mode. Thanks for putting out a good game. I will be buying the all included pack, as to support your work.
Very interesting, unique physics game. Unfortunately it suffers from a few things are making it impossible for me to progress. First, with enough blocks, the game starts lagging very badly (Nexus 5). Second, there is no incentive to use less blocks (other than less lag I guess). Third, when placing the grey blocks, they don't always stay in place and wiggle out of their spaces while still building.
Except the fact that laying the bricks are so painfully slow, i might uninstall the game. Maybe it needs to accommodate more in transition bricks, i have to wait multiple seconds to put another brick and the view refuses to expand more than a nanometer. I really like the concept though. ............ It got overwhelmed and did not keep hours worth of work. Once it got rid of everything i did it, the functions regained some of thier speed.
I'm having trouble putting it down, this game is a great time killer. It took a little trial and error at first, but now I am building crazy-tall ridiculous looking towers! Very fun. A little hard on the phone battery, but worth it IMHO.
You could really get sucked into this one. At first, I played to beat the level goals. Then, I started using my special pieces to create ridiculous expansions. Piece count be damned, I needed more towers and bridges. Near collapses become amazing architecture. A great game overall.
This game just keeps me wanting to go higher! The physics are decent, the decorations should click to position better, and the whole thing is pointless. But the big question: Is it fun? Hell yes!
The game is great and addictive but I really hate the ads that ignore my volume settings and blast their noises at inopportune times. I will more than likely by no ads in the future but I wish they were silent in the mean time.
Great idea of a game however the physics are way off. Building falls when it wouldn't in real life
problem no exit game and very slow believe that keep run by online and screen so high in landscape from portrait hard see top or bottom > so need fix it before i buy this games
In concept I like the game, my biggest issue is if you try to anchor a block into the side of the existing tower (similar as to in the tutorial) but the existing tower is on ever a slight angle it will slip out as you are building. It takes minutes to do it, and if I hit play before it comes out it is fine, bit it is frustrating to be building a section and have part of it collapses a couple minutes in before I was ready to hit the play button.
It's a really fun game. Kinda dark though. One color per video makes for some pretty gloomy structures. Maybe unlock a few more per video? Still. Wicked cool though.
I sat for I wanna say 4 or 5 hours playing. Even though I was failing a lot I was still enjoying the game. Love the music too.
I've loved every single bit of this game, it feels like it was crafted with love and care. Only thing missing I'd love is a mode with infinite blocks to just create your own tower
I like how the tower can tilt after each section and then trying to figure out how to build on that. I saw another comment about a free play mode and I second that idea. My structures tend to be a bit boring bc I'm working more on making them stable to get the points than to look cool.
I'm in love with playing this but I think it would be cool to have like a free build kind of option. Like instead of having to reach the line and stuff you can build as much or as little as you want at a time. So you can build bigger and better things. When I'm trying to build an idea I have its hard to build it out when you have to keep having to meet the requirements to have the structure frozen. Idk it's a thought, if the game had it, it possibly would have made me give the game a 5 star but meh.
halfway through world 1 and loving it. its awesome when the blocks start falling and froze, leads to some really wonky looking designs!
THANKS FOR GETTIN BACK TO ME, I've found if I put a floating black block as a support and then delete it just before I press play my grey blocks have alot better chance of staying in place. Once again THANKS for taking the time to answer my question
It's a beautifully rendered game but it's too detailed for the likes of me. It's one of those games I wish I could play but I'm just too lazy.
I have been playing his "Asteroids game" for over a year, the "Night sky bot" wallpaper is one of my favorites, and now this game...good job developer! Updated comment to "singular" case.

Entertaining and extremely re-playable. It definitely taps into your inner perfectionist. The game is easy to learn. The graphics and music are stylish. Priced well enough that it doesn't feel like a waste if you decide to buy, and you aren't bombarded with micro-transactions about bonuses or power-ups, etc. A drain on the memory & battery of older devices. Tends to heat them up a bit, but to be expected with the mechanics of the game. I recommend it.
