About Lasca
A basic implementation of the Draughts/Checkers variant Lasca (also known as Laska or Laskers), originally created by Emanuel Lasker. This application was my final year project for Computer Science at Cardiff University, though I hope to work on it further!
Use your finger to move pieces around the board. Pressing the device's MENU button brings up additional options, including a settings screen where a variety of AI opponents can be chosen and configured, even allowing AI versus AI battles. Choose (Re)Start after a settings change to begin a new game with the altered setup.
Please note the 'Test Mode' automatically runs multiple games of AI against AI, and is likely not very interesting to the average user!

What's Changed
1.4.6: Minor updates: Settings is now laid out more sensibly and defaults to human versus AI gameplay. Also added an option to hide whether a piece is promoted if it's not the top of a tower. Slight performance tweaks.

Fun to play, but it allows a jump to continue after the leader of a column is promoted. This is different from Lasker's original rules which state that a move ends when a piece is promoted.

This version of Lasca may have not as good user interface as Laska Light, but it has offline multiplayer. It needs more views.
