MyGBA - Gameboid Emulator

I love this emulator, but the update did more than it says. For example, while a rom is active I no longer have a quick menu button. Please fix this because the ability to save state on here for many of my playthroughs of 3rd gen Pokémon relied on trial and error with working saved states. Also, as a lot of us have asked, a super speed function would be nice.

Boy, way to screw up a super popular app. I wasted time on this app over the past few years...and with one update you all dissapear and ruin a good thing. Was Nintendo after you or something so you broke your app, did some new guy have a stroke while programming?? If this is how you treat your community of followers I will make damn sure I never actually purchase your software ever. Hope you goofballs have day jobs.

I love this emulator, like it's easily my favorite GBA emulator and I use it a lot but this new update seems to have taken away the quick menu button that lets you pull up the menu during a game. If they add this button back I'll put this at 5 stars again

I managed to trigger a glitch where it showed the save state menu. Why would you disable a function that's the only reason people want your emulator?

Why were they dropped? Many games I didn't even bother to save in and now I have to start over.

im on a blaze 4G and the only problem i have is theres no way to enter cheats. other than that, i love it!

I'm currently playing fe7 and in the chapter I got stuck so many times, when I find out I can't select my save state at all. Pls fix

It was gone in the last update. Please fix it. Dont want to start over my Fire emblem...

when you rotate you phone it says no rom loaded doesnt matter if you have been playin it for an hour as soon as you rotate your phone you get error no rom loaded

Was great until they updated and now there is no menu button during gameplay. After hours of gaming, I now cannot access my saves.

It dosnt work at all

Used to play it all the time, now I can't get past the first screen.

When i play the game, and switch positions on my phone, it goes to the menu

When ever I want to play Pokemon emerald and I save and quit, the save is not on load saves button

Please change it back to when we had save states. Most of my game files were kept in the other save slots.

This app i cant find the option of cheats

Rotating or locking the device unloads the rom

Couldn't hit the menu button after opening the first time. :(

Greatest gameboy emulator ever

I have downloaded this before and loved it.... Problem now? I've gotten a new phone and when you open the app it says to press the "MENU" button, but I don't have one!! It would be really cool if you could put a menu option for those of us that doesn't have it installed in our phones!!

Was excited to use app, but there was no menu button i thought it was a bug so i downloaded it again, still nothing. I was fed up so i just uninstall the app

It's just frustrating that I can't get machamp. And I would like to speed up the daycare process

Well... Simply hold that "task" button and voila. Menu will pop! It's magical!. @devs Not very intuitive so please fix that bug and rating will go up!

All GBA emulators that I downloaded have cheat menu but this has none. If you play Pokémon, you can't complete you're pokedex. Add a cheat menu if you updated it and I will rate it 5 stars.

Where is the version of gambled that I downloaded a year ago? No ads at all and a more attractive layout. And the fast forward feature.

Reads folders that don't even exist on the device or SD card, and doesn't read the folders that do. There is no way for me to load the ROM. The other two emulators don't have this issue.

The only problem I have with this emulator is that it doesn't have a cheat menu and sometimes, when it is running in the background, it will stop playing the rom

TO THOSE THAT THINK YOU CAN'T USE THIS WITHOUT A MENU BUTTON: Hold the recent tasks button, and the menu will pop up. It's ok, I felt extremely dumb after i realized too.

The up side you can play on a full screen besides playing on half of one on other apps. this emulator actually doesn't lag!!! Also it's free. Downside no speed controls it really makes the gameplay go by slow in my opinion

I always used this one and loved it. Sure there's no cheats or FF but its not advertised as having them so idk why people give bad reviews based on that. Runs well, saves, loads, easy to use. Only reason its not 5 star is lately the ads block the menu button so I cannot load the games anymore. Move the ad placement and we're golden.

My only complaint is that saving via the slots is broken on galaxy s4. It wasnt always like this but idk which update broke it. Love

For people who play Pokémon you HAVE to use cheats to unlock some things (I'm playing FireRed and I need to get to Birth and Naval Islands) But in the game file there's a folder called 'Cheats' How do I access this? Please respond and I'll make it a 5

This Emulator works perfectly for me, considering the fact I don't use cheat codes, I mean if you want cheat codes your best off trying something else. For me this is 10/10. The only thing I could say is that it could do with a fast forward button. Besides that it's awesome! Thanks dev!

I used this emulator my old phone and it worked fine. On my zte no matter what rom I use, when I try to load it, it says "unfortunately MyGBA Emulator has stopped"

Ignore the people saying no cheat option they just want to cheat

Its free and it doesn't barrage you with ads all the time. It have save state thats awesome

Now I have the note 5 which has no menu button and I can't load the menu.....

No matter what it will not create a load or save a savestate otherwise its fine

Only downside is that it can't also run gbc games but you can just get another app for that
