I have some pretty bad lag issues with parts of the game. Collecting kitties or reaching the end of the level will usually cause the game to freeze up for a few moments. It's very good, but hard to play due to these problems.

Couldn't get it to stay open on my tablet, really disappointed, I love kitties a lot. Hopefully it gets fixed so I can buy again. For now sadly, uninstalled and refunded.

First, it is one of the few games where the main character is a woman of color, maybe one of the only games with a woman of color that doesnt involve a man too. Gameplay is simple and perfect. This whole game just reeks of ature game design. Iean, no ads and no micro transactions? !? It's a goddamn dream come true.

Negative point up front: it took me a little while to understand just how fast paced the game is. Consequently, on my first run or two I died a lot. Once you've got that hurdle taken, though, this game is huge fun. The controls are responsive, animations, sound effects and visuals are all satisfyingly juicy, and the game play leaves nothing to be desired overall. Definitely buy!

Rescue those poor kitties! One negative, seems to be quite a few slow downs. Would think my Nexus 4 could handle this game.

Some rough edges here and there, but its a fun game with solid mechanics and low key art direction.

This cute little game is pretty fun and addictive. The controls are super simple and easy to use. Bonus difficulty if played around my own cat, because she tries to crawl all over me looking for the source of the meowing.

Edit: This game got really addictive when the challenges started getting me to be risky (eg get extra points to unlock stuff with if you almost die but survive). I emailed about a small bug and they quickly responded and will fix :) My original review: I'm still having fun with this after several hours of playing, but it is getting a bit repetitive and I'm not unlocking stuff as quickly now , but it is still addictive and fun, and is still something I can play for an hour or so. It's simple and enjoyable.

Love this game in all its 8 bit glory! I only wish i could get gain golden kittys faster :)

If you're like me, you're on the internet. If you're on the internet, then you're like me and you love cats. That being said, Jones on Fire is literally the best cat-saving game you'll play this week. For 99 cents it's one hell of a fun time-killer game with a nifty retro aesthetic. Until they come out with Bit Trip Runner for Android, this fits the bill wonderfully!

Pretty fun time waster. Haven't found anything wrong yet. The only complaint is there is nothing to purchase with the regular kitties after the first upgrades.

Really enjoying this game on my Samsung GS3. The gameplay is addictive, the pixelized graphics are cool and the sense of humor is quirky.

And it's not to addicting but it's still super fun

A fun running game. And who doesn't love saving kitties? But it needs Google Play Games so it can use progress sync. I hate losing my progress simply because I have to reset my phone. At the very least, we could get the leaderboards to compare scores with others.

I have a problem when the game suffers a pause at every cat that is collected, very frustrating. Needs to be fixed.

Very reminiscent of older games. I love the run completed music(kinda sounds like the mega man 2 intro) would definitely recommend this game to a friend
